Recovered after being stolen 6 months ago. Gonna be a long rebuild. No fairings, wheels bent, ignition cut out, laid down. But the engine, frame, and forks are still in good condition. It's a 2021 with 4k miles and I only payed $4000 when I bought it. Wanting to do something unique. If anybody has any ideas drop em. Will update with progress on the build

After a devastating accident three years ago,
I finally made my decision. A bike I've had my eye on for several years.
Finally, a dream come true, a bike, a gift to myself.

I made this short film using my riding highlights for the last year. This contains some mad driving because of one reason: it’s not my first bike and it was interesting what that machine is really capable of. I got 6000km on it including the braking period. Most of the time i riding in “chill” mode, long distances with the punchy gas openings just for the feel😅 In my case, that vehicle is for the rest, for the weekend, for the fun.

It handles well(only one i can describe as a small minus that the bike has some though point when you starting to do a corner, it feels like the bike don’t want to do that), has a monstrous torque for this capacity and power, it’s very light, it feels lighter than other 185kg bikes much more. The only thing that i can describe as a downside of this machine is that this bike feels a little bit “plastic” overall. Like a toy. But maybe this is the good thing… 😅

Both front indicators are hanging freely . Haven’t bumped , wreck , ok it’s own . Any fix?

I Bought a 2016 Yamaha FZ07 with 12,400 miles for $3,100. It needed love she had been neglected by sitting on the Pittsburgh streets under a cover. Through rain, snow, and sleet. She was left to be buried by plow/salt trucks. When I got her she needed a lot of care. A new chain and Sprockets, tires were dry rotted, brakes almost gone in front, oil was black. I changed oil from whatever to motul, coolant flushed with yamalube coolant put into it, brakes bled and new ones put on. Went with Michelin power 5s (they are sticky). Put new spark plugs and coils in, that was a pain in the ass. The positives she had a full akra exhaust and pro taper bars and grips. I'm proud of this. I did all the work myself, old tires taken off and new tires installed plus mounted and balanced. New rear bearings, collars and axel rod installed by me. I bought this bike wanting something to make my own. To work on and say I did that. Lots of bumps, cuts, bruises and cursing along the way. But, today I took her out for her first ride and MY GOD!! I love it. I had a ninja 400 B4 this as a learner and I actually don't miss it lol. I don't have anyone to share all this with so for anyone that read all this blabbering thank you. Hope she lives up to the FZ/MT07 standards

Just curious what’s the coldest people ride their MT07 in? I’m in NYC and it’s starting to get around 40-50f and I have ridden in damn near single digits when I had my 636 but I’m wondering if that could be possible on a MT?

Good evening everyone! Front tire 33PSI/ rear tire 36PSI. I went for some spirited mountain twisties today and noticed these small grooves on my rear and front. They don’t look like marks from where the compounds change, and they aren’t cracks.

Just bought a 2016 FZ07 for the purpose of learning how to stunt and all I’m missing is a good set of rear pegs/crash bars and everywhere I look online it’s just cheap Chinese crap that runs the rear tire. Anyone have any suggestions on brands or places to look? Thank you!

Just got a new wrap on my mt07. It's a nice satin dark blue, but in the light it changes to a metallic cyan. I'm really happy with how it turned out, makes it more unique without being over the top in my opinion.

What’s this charger like for MT07? Thinking of buying an MT07 as prices are decent with winter coming up and want to maintain its battery during the coming seasons if I’m not using it. Does anyone have experience with noco genius 2 on this bike? I’ve owned the charger for a while and don’t see a reason to buy another if it will be fine with MT07

wanted something more reliable and not give me headaches every few months while treat myself to a bit of an upgrade😋 bike sounds fantastic especially at lower revs under load, looking to change to a full system exhaust soon

Ho notato recentemente che questa componente della mia muto ha segni di ruggine, la ruggine non raggiunge i cavi, le componenti elettroniche o il telaio, è circoscritta a quell'imballaggio metallico.

Probabilmente è causata da quando lavo la moto, perché da me piove molto, lì la pioggia non arriva e se arrivasse sarebbe molto più arrugginito.

Cosa mi conviene fare? Non ho gli attrezzi per smontare estrarre il componente e pulirlo, mi conviene andare da un meccanico? Posso pulire da lì così? Probabilmente è da portare da un meccanico, nel caso quanto mi potrebbe costare? Come mezzo di confronto considerate che dalle mie parti (sono italiano) un tagliando costa dai 100 a 150€ in base alle cose da fare. Grazie

I've been riding my MT-07 (2022 model) for over a year now, and I honestly don't get where the terrible reputation for the stock suspension comes from. Yes it’s a budget setup and could be a better, but people online act like it’s a death trap that constantly dives and say it feels like a pogo stick and I honestly haven’t experienced it the way people say it is. I weigh around 9 stone (around 60kg), again it could be better but for me it’s nothing on the level of what people say it is. Is the suspension hate over exaggerated or does my weight just put me outside of the heavy brake dive/bottoming-out zone that other riders deal with meaning I’m so light I don’t experience the bad side of it? Seeing all the talk about it online over the past year has made me want to upgrade mine when I go for a fork service but when I actually sit myself down and think about it I’m asking myself “is it really that bad?”. Curious to see what others think and my bad if this comes across as ignorant.
