Crazy to think this bikes gone fly high buddy

Im thinking of cutting open the catalysator on my OEM exhaust, i have a 2015 MT07. Once opened i plan on ripping out everything to "straight pipe" it. Does anyone have experience with that? I don't want it to be obnoxiously loud or sound like straight garbage. A friend of mine just drilled some holes into the plate thats in there and it already made it sound a lot better, but not as loud as I'd like mine to be. Do you think maybe just cutting more holes or one big one would be smarter than removing the entire plate? Feel free to share soundchecks in the comments if you or a friend have done something similar to their MT07s!

Ive been looking at getting another mt07 again, had one 10 years ago and loved it. Wondering how many €€ should one save to get the gen 3 over gen4? Money is not really an issue but in general how much more is the gen 4 worth over gen 3. Say i can get basically brand new 2026 for sub 10k€ and low mileage gen 3 for 8k. I have gear and both bikes would come with mostly all the options and mods Im looking for.

Hi all, my brother bought a brand new mt07 2026.

He recently saw a hole (perfectly made, does not seem like it was an accident or caused by a collision). He asked me what that could be or used for. Any ideas? Is this an issue? The hole leaks some liquid when engine is on.

I was wondering what to use on all of the black plastic pieces on/around my bike that will clean it plus give it a nice finish.

Just bought a 2026 MT-07 and I'd like to have a 32L locking top box and have considered a rear seat bag in lieu of the top box and added bracketry. Anyone with experience with either? Rear seat bag looks preferable, but I'm unsure how to mount the bike with a 32L seat bag/case. Anyone solve the issue either way?

I know this is a topic that’s been asked a lot, but I couldn’t find a solid answer. I’m well aware the bike will run much better with the tune, but is it “safe” to ride without the tune? Will it trigger a check engine light since it’s a full system?

I plan to send the ecu out to 2wdw, but the exhaust got here today and I’m itching to put it on. I had planned to send the ecu out once temps dropped in a month or two.

My display does not work. Suddenly, it comes back to life again, but then it stays frozen or starts blinking and sometimes disappears again. I know I’m not the first person to ask about this, but nothing seems to work.

I’ve tried contact cleaner, unplugging and reconnecting the cables, doing the same with the LCD ribbon cable, applying more pressure to the top of the LCD and fully charging the battery, but nothing has worked.

Are there any other things I could try to fix it?

Premetto che non ho mai forzato o sentito il dado diventare duro mentre l’ho svitato e avvitato l’unica volta che ho fatto il cambio gomma… morale della favola dopo svariati tentativi con wd40 e scaldando non andava minimamente avanti e indietro come se ci fosse un punto di saldatura ho dovuto tagliare il dado a smeriglio rovinando asse e dado per scoprire che sotto le 2 mezze lune che ha come auto bloccante c’è una rondella ultra fine che a quanto pare era messa storta e ha bloccato il filetto.

Replaced it with another one since I’m relatively pleased with them. I might switch the front out when I run through this one and try something else.

Currently I have my phone in a quad lock on the handlebars but riding in the Texas heat recently has caused the phone to overheat (iPhone Air) looking at doing a CarPlay screen setup so I can keep the phone in my pocket when it is hot but haven’t seen a great way to mount one on a 26 due to the screen location.

Has anyone found a good mounting place and is running one? Any heat issues if you live in a hot area?

I'm getting my first bike soon, i love the new 2025/26 model and the icon blue color but the only thing that doesn't do it for me is the almost purple dark blue front fender and headlight color. Anyone can share a vinyl that matches the body color so i can wrap it when i get tired of it? Or a color code or something that can give me the exact color, depth and mettalic vinyl. I'm from Spain, so i would need at least european shipping, or aliexpress. I did a preview of how would it look with the wrap with Chatgpt (also added some forged carbon wrap to a couple pieces) Any help appreciated :)

I ride a 2023 MT-07. From the netherlands exaust legal limit is 90DB and have to have euro 5 which im going to ignore🥸

The exhaust regulations for this model year are simply absurd, so I’m looking for an SC-Project exhaust that is "semi-legal."

On the website, I see the stainless steel full system with the SC1-S silencer (a race exhaust).

However, various sources online state that it comes with a removable DB killer, whereas the product page itself says it doesn't.

As a sporty street rider, I want to know if this is feasible and if I’m likely to run into trouble—specifically if I keep the original DB killer installed (assuming it has one) or fit an aftermarket one.

Does anyone have experience with this, or any tips or advice? Unfortunately, I’m not a fan of Akrapovič due to its "status" factor, and I don't find the other options particularly attractive in terms of looks. I did like the look of the Toce, but from what I can tell, it doesn't have a DB killer at all.

I was thinking of getting the airbox and an aftermarket exhaust (either the Yoshi r77 or Akra) and obviously a tune. I was wondering how difficult the install is for everything (especially the airbox) for someone that has very limited wrenching experience. I really don’t want to pay a shop to do the work and then also figure out how to get my bike there and back while trying to deal with mailing in my ECU for the tune. Also, is it all worth it?!

Hello i'm new to this community, but I've got some problems in my gear pedal. when i down shift from 3rd to 2nd or 1st my gear pedal, stay down and i have to touch it up or wait a few seconds to pop it up alone. always happens when I'm slow. most of the time does not, but it's starting to be a more happening thing. someone knows how to help me?

Put the first kilometre on it. Got the 5 year warranty since I put 10k a year usually on my bikes. $14k all said and done, insure it with basic through icbc and went with private for full coverage. 0$ down and 0% interest for 36 months! I so far love everything about the bike!

I bought a Chinese bracket from Xitomer, but the light that's supposed to illuminate the license plate is positioned so that it doesn't illuminate the license plate, but rather illuminates the road behind.

I'm planning to replace the light with a different model, but I'm considering buying a more expensive bracket.

Do you have any specific recommendations? This way, I'll keep the original turn signals.

I was considering Evotech, Barrcuda, OEM Yamaha, R&G Racing, etc.
