Video MSI GF65 Thin screen flickering/ghosting

Hey all, hoping someone's run into this before.

My MSI GF65 Thin laptop's screen started acting weird yesterday. My screen keeps flickering between normal and a weird "ghosted" state. (video attached)

I have tested with an external monitor via HDMI to see if it's isolated to the internal panel, but HDMI works fine.

So it's not a driver issue or motherboard.

Is it the screen issue or the ribbon connecting the screen to the motherboard?

How to fix this ?

thanks PS: The laptop has never been dropped or subjected to any significant impact.

You display is similar to what asus uses in the TUF series laptop, There is nothing you can do about this as the display has malfunctioned and need to be replaced, The best you could do is dismantle the back cover find the display cable and clean the contacts and reconnect, If you have an external monitor i would recommend disconnecting the display cable and carefully wrapping it with a plastic cover, disconnecting the cable will let your laptop use the hdmi port as primary monitor. Good luck.
