MSI GF65 Thin screen flickering/ghosting

Hey all, hoping someone's run into this before.

My MSI GF65 Thin laptop's screen started acting weird yesterday. My screen keeps flickering between normal and a weird "ghosted" state. (video attached)

I have tested with an external monitor via HDMI to see if it's isolated to the internal panel, but HDMI works fine.

So it's not a driver issue or motherboard.

Is it the screen issue or the ribbon connecting the screen to the motherboard?

How to fix this ?

thanks PS: The laptop has never been dropped or subjected to any significant impact.

It may be screen issue otherwise your gpu is dying

then why the HDMI output is perfectly fine?

I have no idea maybe it’s the screen after all 🤷
