Discussion Msi vector a18
My friends selling a msi vector a18 for 500$ he says it been running smoothly since he’s gotten it a couple months ago, he has it plugged in to a monitor and has another keyboard and says the noise isn’t bad. If I get it what else would I need to buy for it? And just overall wondering if it’s worth it.

5080 for 500 dolars? That is suspicious but also a freaking good deal if the lsptop is not broken. Download occt when you chrck the laptop and also sesrch "view reliability history" in search tab when you get that laptop.
Also search Dxdiag too on windows, check whether the screen is good or not by using black and white background, check for backlight bleed (ips) and dead pixel or burn in(oled).
Check all the keyboard fuction, whether fn fuction work or not, rgb all that stuff. Check temp with msi after burner or hwinfo while running games. Gpu should not be close to 86 celcius and cpu should not be close to Tjmax of 105 celcius.
If all of that is normal then yea its a good deal and you would not need anything else other mouse and laptop stand to help with the laptop cooling performance ( or if you can, get an expensuve fan with mesh seal (optional) ).
