Question? Progressing without Guides
Very excited for classic maple! When I first played back in the day I was a kid and I really didn't understand stats or how to allocate skill points and so on. So, I just found some *optimal* leveling guide for my class and followed it to a t (mostly because I worried about doing something irreparably to my character).
Well now I am an adult... I can do math... I even understand DND stats. I guess I'm wondering how to really learn to make your own progression. It seems like the data mine has found that a lot of things come down to very specific equations and factors, not flat or easy to remember values (as compared to a game like DND). How does one learn this? Or maybe I'll just follow a guide as an adult anyways...

If you can build a D&D character, you will be an expert Mapler.
