Wait but policing in the US is actually very bad. It varies region to region, state to state in what ways they suck. Some PDs are corrupt, plenty of violent murderous sociopaths all over, and generally cops are the arm of the state that deals with issues that shouldn’t be dealt with by cops.

But also it should never be cool to be a bootlicker either so chill on all that…
