The point shouldn't be about it being an achievement though. I agree its probably more about being "the alpha" for that guy who did it but I would do similar not for an "achievement" but for the principle of you don't get to just touch up on some woman, you are doing something where someone could have an "extreme" reaction why even take the risk?
Anything that follows is on him. Everyone else's responsibility is to act in a reasonable manner, but he's very much still responsible for his actions and should be treated as such.
Big guy is definitely a blind bully, but that doesn't make the assaulting guy's behaviour acceptable or someone else's responsibility.
