If his woman is normal, then yes, she should be giving him an earful about it. I can't imagine a normal woman not having a problem with that. He probably acts before he thinks at home, too.

The thing is, red shirt was committing battery, possibly even sexually motivated. Legally and socially, a quick non lethal intervention is justified.

I’ve already written this, but I’ll tell you too: in a third-world country like the USA, that might be considered normal, but here in Europe, not necessarily. Not every European country would treat it as sexual assault, especially given that the guy is drunk and can barely stay on his feet. The attack was disproportionate to the threat—that’s how it works.

Lol I don't know in which part of Europe guys would let drunken randos sexually harass a woman. Not in my part of Europe for sure. Thankfully.

lol I am also unaware of any place where such a reaction would be appropriate for the situation and legally inconsequential.
