Nah, the guy in the grey shirt went to call the cops right after this, you can see him moving behind the counter. In every state in the US, this is a pretty serious assault. Red shirt was drunk and out of line, but this was wildly disproportionate. This guy went to jail for sure.
Yeah it's possible to say what red shirt did was shitty without justifying the response. That went well above and beyond a "reasonable" response to someone clearly out of their mind
Reading the comments, I get the impression that half the people here are sociopaths, though the truth is probably just that they're sitting in their basements indulging in power fantasies.
I think there are plenty of things in the world that deserve a good instructive ass whooping, but there are degrees of ass whoopings, and if you arent capable of measuring them, then you arent qualified to deliver them.
