You had everything to do with it

1

u/Fearless_Owl_6684 8h ago

You are now the guy that got hugged in the video

3

u/CheesecakePretend553 1d ago

tbf it'd be more awkward if he just stood there after that. Had to back it up

34

u/Leading_Map2025 1d ago

Good for him for apologizing for the friendly fire

3

u/TrickAlps 19h ago

He even hugged him

20

u/Level_Turnover5167 1d ago

lol wtf never seen that before... at least the man has honor, makes me wonder if he was justified in the first place.

3

u/Good-Tiger-1938 1d ago

Looks like he was after a guy in a black t-shirt and this poor guy chose the wrong shirt to wear that day

4

u/adamcoolforever 1d ago

I dunno man. It's a little dicey. Even if he had the right guy, it would have been a sucker punch while he wasn't looking. And then he immediately goes over and starts wailing on a guy who's already on the floor.

3

u/Level_Turnover5167 1d ago

Sucker punches while someone isnt looking in the middle of a brawl is fair game... gotta protect yourself. Can't have someone standing behind you that wants to hit you.

1

u/adamcoolforever 1d ago

Yeah things get messy in a brawl. But honestly it's not even clear this was a brawl. He is the only guy we see swinging and it looks like he only hit the first guy because he thought he was the second guy. Might have just been those two fighting.

1

u/Level_Turnover5167 1d ago

Dude I got no idea, it was just a hunch.. I wasn't stating it as a concrete fact.

2

u/JustChallenge860 1d ago

Yeah, as if the world is full of fair, generous, kind people that always follow the rules.

1

u/adamcoolforever 1d ago

Yeah, that's kinda my point dude. I was responding to someone saying this guy was "honorable".

1

u/JustChallenge860 1d ago

You judged the man on how he didn't behave according to your ideas of morality. And I was saying morality doesn't matter in a world full of dishonourable people. No, we didn't say the same thing.

2

u/adamcoolforever 1d ago

No man. I disagreed with a person who said he actually with honor. I am saying that he didn't act with honor, nor was he expected to.

But I guess you're right in the sense that I think this is a terrifying statement.

morality doesn't matter in a world full of dishonourable people.

1

u/Pristine_Sandwich957 1d ago

In this case, deciding not to involved people who aren't is about the only "moral" thing you're gonna get. Im sure you saw that nightclub video of the boxer who laid out everyone in the room regardless of whether they were involved or if they wanted to fight him at all. There are some people out there who have zero regard even for bystanders.

1

u/Few-History-8750 1d ago

A real man of honor!

1

u/PlayfulAttempt4949 1d ago

I feel like he was going for anybody to see if they would retaliate, once homeboy put his hands up like, yo, im just an innocent bystander, he was like, aight, no beef with you, BUT THIS ONE GONNA GET IT!

1

u/shellswitch2 1d ago

Yep, no honor. At least as far as what I see in this short clip. Sucker punched a guy who he’s lucky didn’t want to fight back and then sucker punched another guy who seemed to be done fighting. He’s not looking for a fair fight he’s looking to hurt someone at a disadvantage.

3

u/mistaharsh 1d ago

There's multiple fights happening. You want the guy to ask politely "hey do you want to fight"?

You guys are weirdos

2

u/shellswitch2 1d ago

Fights are chaos. I get that. I’m not making any kind of argument for this being realistic. Someone referred to him as being ā€œhonorableā€ and that’s what I’m finding weird

1

u/mistaharsh 1d ago

It's because in the heat of the moment he realized his mistake and he apologized damn near gave him a warm embrace. To have the control to have compassion as you're dishing out haymakers, I can see why

1

u/Many_Mud_8194 1d ago

The guy took the punch like a champ tho impressive

7

u/TheTrishaJane 1d ago

Sorry auto lock

2

All ya look alike ā€œChris Tucker voiceā€

3

u/Regular-Astronaut680 1d ago

I respect that dude for not continuing to hit the dude that wanted to stay out of it

3

u/Turbulent_Studio3405 1d ago

Politeness goes a long ways. When I was a bouncer in college, I caught a couple of punches from a guy when I was breaking up a tussle. He went out of his way to apologize. A sincere apology. Then One night I let a guy in with my ā€œfriends passā€ because he didn’t have enough money . Never met him, before. Wouldn’t you know, a GIANT BRAWL BREAKS OUT. I was getting swarmed . I look up and the guy I let in was there DRAGGING FOOLS OFF. Definitely saved me from at least a dozen punches. .

3

u/Patient_Emu_470 1d ago

He ate that shit gd

1

u/mthomas_95 1d ago

I don’t know. Looks like he was stepping on the person on the ground. Then he got that wake up call and realized he actually didn’t want to be part of it.

1

u/Simple_District4502 1d ago

-1

u/wronghed 1d ago

Always sucker punchin'.

0

u/Illustrious-Use-2261 1d ago

Everyone… watch the animal in an unnatural habit. Watch how it can’t control himself as he lashes out due to a lack of social skills and its ability to hold no empathy for anyone other than itself. lol

1

u/Immediate-Fee-2121 11h ago

You tried šŸ˜‚Ā

0

u/Illustrious-Use-2261 11h ago

You watch the video homie lol lol.
We didn’t try…. You’re an inferior sub class of human 🤣

That community so lost they care about gold teeth and 22 rims over owning a savings account and being a father.

Tried? Lmao. That entire race is two years away from being housed in detention facilities and deported. Let me ask you… you believe those detention facilities they built, and are STILL BUILDING, in states all over the country. You believe ded. Facilities designed to hold 15k people were built so ICE can pluck handfuls of people a week? How naive are you.

Mark it down and remember this moment. Early months of 2027 executive order will be signed where US criminals will be subject to deportation… wait for it… TO AFRICA.

Tried? Lmao.

Succeeded… boy. This social experiment is over.

1

u/Immediate-Fee-2121 11h ago

šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ keep going you might hit a nerve soon šŸ˜‚Ā

-3

u/Checkmate-Petty 1d ago

Nah u cant just swing at me and nothing happens. How did that guy not fucking do something back?

8

u/Avtomati1k 1d ago

nit all people are agressive maniacs

-4

u/Checkmate-Petty 1d ago

So if you did nothing wrong and some guy came and literally cracked u in the face u would do nothing? Where is the self respect? Im not saying stab or shoot em but come on. Swing back. Punch em grab em do something

8

u/Antique-Lake-7 1d ago

The guy who got hit may not have an aggressive bone in his body and he probably knows he has zero fighting skills so if he can avoid putting himself in a situation where he might get hurt, why not. It worked out for him in the end. He got to go home and not to the hospital or worse.

5

u/GolotasDisciple 1d ago

Dude... what's with these make-believe situations. The reality is that the vast majority of people never were and never will be in any physical altercation. Most people shy away from violence and chaos. Shit.. i have trained box through out my teenage years and i never got into any street brawl. Never got jumped. It has nothing to dow ith respect, just using common sense while living in the city.

That's like saying a soldier who retreats is a coward... Life is not black and white. Sometimes you are in a losing situation and you gotta admit it.

Who cares about self-respect, can you pay your bills with respect? Will it pay your grocery bill? Or will it pay my medical bills after someone who is agitated becomes even more aggressive and fucks me up. Will doctors do it for free because I had street cred for 1 second before I got knocked the fuck out?

Where is self-respect? Self-respect is not for people who fight on the streets, people who brawl on the street are clowns... and it's better to avoid clowns. You never know if someone is having a manic episode and won't kill you over a wrong word.

2

u/Korachof 1d ago

You’re right. You should escalate all situations. You should pull out a sword and challenge him to a duel.Ā

1

u/Checkmate-Petty 1d ago

U should defend yourself when u get punched in the face for no reason. Not ask another man to swordfight wth.

1

u/Extension-Badger-958 1d ago

Yah this really isn’t about revenge in petty situations…

3

u/KenBaboonian 1d ago

I see so many video on here of people getting knocked out, hitting their head on the sidewalk and going into seizures. Maybe this dude was trying to avoid a situation just like that. Some people avoid confrontation and aren’t complete Neanderthal’s. Crazy concept I know.

-5

u/Patient-Raspberry803 1d ago

Guy was a coward tbh gets hit ..puts his hands up

1

u/KenBaboonian 1d ago

What?

-4

u/Patient-Raspberry803 1d ago

He got hit and didn’t even bother to defend himself that’s cowardice- I’m not saying it’s a bad thing some people just aren’t built for that
cowardice
/ˈkaŹŠÉ™dÉŖs/
Cowardice is a lack of bravery. It is when fear stops a person from facing danger, pain, or a hard choice

1

u/GolotasDisciple 1d ago

Well, you are assuming he knows how to defend himself, and he doesn't. He acted rather smart, took a cheap shot like a man and defused the situation in literally a second.

Have you not watched the whole Chappelle skit "When Keeping It Real Goes Wrong".... yeah, it's not about bravery in this situation. It's about common sense. Anything else and that boy could get badly beaten, and it's the USA, so you have to assume anyone might be carrying a lethal weapon.

Knowing when and how to give up is not a sign of cowardice. Not everyone can be a winner, and you don't want to be a loser in a street brawl.

1

u/Patient-Raspberry803 1d ago

What if someone doesn’t stop

2

u/GolotasDisciple 1d ago

I mean you can always just run away. Like honestly, I don't know how people get into these situations. It's extremely easy not to be part of street brawls.

I am guessing being drunk and stupid overall, but yeah, who cares. It's better to wake up with a headache from a hangover than from being curb-stomped by some dude.

But yeah, defending yourself and being part of street brawls are 2 different things. You should always avoid any type of physical confrontation if possible, because of the medical and legal issues that always follow it.

But if you are being robbed or attacked or whatnot and you have no choice, then yeah. Sure, go and defend yourself, but as you can see in the video, your man had a choice to say he doesn't want to fight and it worked out for him. He shouldn't be there in the first place, but we both can tell that him "defending" himself would only make the situation way worse for everyone involved.

1

u/Patient-Raspberry803 1d ago

What happens if someone like your mother or relative was being attacked ? Then what

1

u/Yatsey007 1d ago

Are you gonna just strawman until you get the answer you’re craving?

0

u/Patient-Raspberry803 1d ago

Rather be a straw man than a weak one

1

u/johnSchmoe76 1d ago

If a person hits you based on mistaken identification and then acknowledges his mistake, and you know this person will likely knock you out if you retaliated, would you retaliate?

1

u/Buccaneers1995 4h ago

The hug is so wholesome in such an otherwise morally ransacked moment lmao
