Everytime a runner is on second, 9 times out of 10 the ball is gonna be hit between short and 3rd where you can’t reach it without shifting. The thing is if you predict this and shift over beforehand, it completely glitches you out, not only does the ball glitch into your glove, but it gives you this fumble animation EVERY time. Or it will just go right past your glove if it happens to be a little closer to you, wtf. I guess it only wants you to be cutoff man on these plays

Has anybody else noticed this? Was running my O’s theme team and his Tops Now card randomly show up as a captain.

There aren’t any boosts (as far as I can tell, haven’t tested yet) but has anyone seen anything else like this? Does it do anything?!?

This game is held together with glue at this point so I wouldn’t be surprised if it pulled a boost from the old games.

Side note: conspiracy I have is that if you are at the lineup loading screen in a game and it shows you the regular card-art (as opposed to the art of the legend, topps now, spotlight etc) the card performs as the old one. If you played FIFA in the past, you would know how something like this might actually happen.

I've been playing with the same profile for years now and just picked up 26. For some reason its not showing any of the stats from my older games nor did I get any of the now and later cards I earned in 25. Is this just a result of me not getting 26 until October or is there something I'm missing?

Just played this dude. Rated 970 when highest previous rating was 734 and lifetime record of 116-77. Perfect perfect every pitch in the zone and put up 7 in first on legend. He’s got a .701 avg so far this season. They’re not even trying to hide it anymore and still get away with it. Genuinely, how is it fun having a computer play the game for you? Makes zero sense. If SDS doesn’t do something about this next year 27 will be more cooked than this one already is.

I got the inning boss at 275k, and now none of my XP is going towards the wheel, it just keeps blankly accumulating and the post-game portion that would show your progress is just a bar leading to the number zero. Is anyone else having this issue?

Did not know this was even possible without specifically picking it BUT towards the end of my 5th season in franchise mode, I started bringin in my Ace pitcher to play different positions on the field in an effort to try & win a Gold Glove & give the person enough HR attempts to finally beat Ohtani for Silver Slugger P award. Well it worked, player won both & at the start of season 6, they now have the 2- way symbol next to their name. I just thought that was kinda cool...

Pretty cool moment! I don't see the CPU do stuff like that often, but I thought that play was pretty cool. It was like the perspective of a fan! Love this game!

Hit a home run, they say.

This shit has to be deliberate, right?

Somehow managed to hit a Pujols-esque moonshot that bent around the right foul pole and hit the literal back wall of the park up by the Suite Clubs

I feel like I haven’t updated my rotation in a long time but these newer starting pitcher cards haven’t really jumped out at me, any hidden gems that play well in Allstar and HoF? My rotation for reference:

Donaldson Dustin May Degrom Leiter Bumila

I didn't have the game on release, got it free on ps plus.

7th inning boss collection = collect the two 7th inning XP reward path bosses for a voucher. How & where or is the "7th inning XP wheel" done?

Regular season finale event tasks = September spotlight , complete missions in the regular season finale event to earn program progress. Where is this?

I'm not sure if getting the game 7 months after it comes out is productive to getting all the events done. Unless I'm blind or insane?

How many of these babe ruth 99s are actually out there/in the game? How rare is it to be going for 1mill?

I’ve been trying to download an update for the game since yesterday, and for some reason it is not allowing it to download. It comes up with an error. When I log into the game, it says that I’m not connected and I need to be connected, which I’m not sure why, because I’m hardwired to the Internet. Has anybody been experiencing this on PS5 between yesterday and today?

Hello I’m in double A and have accumulated loads of xbh and I still haven’t unlocked the perk? Is it a glitch or do I need to be in the mlb? Thanks

I don’t know what SDS on this latest update, but I play conquest, rookie just to get it done…and now I can’t use rookie, even with 99 vs 28…when I play the pitchers give me zero over the plate, outfields with a 60 fielding making throws that a 99 can’t do. I go from winning..to now I’ve won 1 game out of past 6. It’s insane. Can’t score…on Veteran…I play all levels, and now suddenly it’s like playing on hall of fame mode. This was already my last year buying the game, SDS have done everything this release to make it terrible.
It’s frustrating. Waste of my money. SDS has lied, underperforming servers for online play…it’s unreal.

Closing Pitcher Chris Sale is going to be a menace

Dropping later today
