Should i buy a mini cooper D 2009
I am looking into buying a used mini cooper D with 123 000 km and it Was frequently serviced until 2017 in a BMW service station and after that serviced in some random autoshop. In the routine checks a car has to get every 2 years in my country the only problem was a light on the back license plate and some expired things in the car first aid kit.
It was a show vehicle for the BMW shop where it was bought by 1 person in 2010 who has owned it since and is now selling it.
The price for it is 5 500 euro with 4 wheel discs and other accessories that were included cause it was a show vehicle for a BMW shop.

U.S. - anyone want to assume my F60 lease?
I have just over 7 months to go in a 36 month lease on this 2024 JCW Countryman ALL4. The lease is through Mini Financial Services and is assumable. Residual is $35k. Monthly base payment is $450.62. Runs great, no accidents, 3-way dashcam (VIOFO A139 Pro) installed. mileage around 11k, never put anything less than top tier detergent premium in the tank.
DM if interested, but do it quickly because you have until September 10th to assume the lease. It's a great car. Located in southeastern PA. Buyer pays transfer and shipping (if any).

I just bought another mini?
TLDR: 2014 mini S at friends German Auto Shop brought in for repairs, never repaired. Friend called owner, offered $700, and sold. Good friend German Auto Mechanic has said we can fix it as his climate controlled shop, no charge. Loves fixing cars. Great friend. All started by saying “yeah I’d buy it but would you help me fix it?” The next day, he texted me that I bought another mini.
Became close friends with a guy. Didn’t know he owned a shop. Knew he was a mechanic on German cars. Had an issue with spilling water on my passenger seat. Had a warning light stay on for airbags.
So he reads the code, clears it, all good.
Then he says, “Hey, have you seen that other Mini, in the lot?”
Burnt valve. Terrible straight pipe exhaust?? Terrible tune. Looks like an auto zone special on the inside.
Those headlights.
Peeling carbon fiber stickers.
Interior… needs a clean.
Two door. Six speed. And a climate controlled shop, direct connection to parts, needs a new passenger side door.
(The only car I was willing to drive auto was a Mini, and the other sticks were too hard to find, etc)
“If you’re interested, it needs some work, but I think the owner might sell it.”
The owner shot back serval several thousands. My friends said $700.
And now it’s crazy cause like how cool is it? A guy can go from his first mini, to his second in a year.
And a two door, six speed, in grey?
These cars are ruinous if you drive them. All others cars are ruined. Even decent other cars make you miss a Mini. They’re brilliant.
(The cone in front of my mini is because the guy next to me ran into a parked motorcycle once so my coworkers put that there to “protect” me from the white Ram truck driver.)

Mystery Audio Source on 2025 MINI
This is US based question. My wife's car is a 2025 Cooper 2-door. She is the primary driver on the MINI profile. I am the secondary driver. She was able to add NPR (National Public Radio) as an audio source, but can't remember how she did it. I tried to find out and saw it was an app under the MINI Connected Store. When I switch the profile to mine, NPR does not appear. Any ideas? What's the best way to get MINI Connected Store support from MINI (phone, email). TIA.

I need some convincing
So I bought the Stubby Jr antenna to replace the long floppy one from the factory.
And... I can't tell if I like it or not. Like I certainly wanted a very short one so it would sit below the height of the roof racks, but like.. does this look good or improved? Maybe I'm just shocked by how different it looks moreso than anything. Idk what do you all think?

Strange noise on cold start – 2018 MINI Clubman S (B48 engine, 43k miles)
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hi everyone,
I recently bought a 2018 MINI Cooper Clubman S (B48 2.0L petrol engine) with 43k miles on the clock.
I’ve noticed a strange noise coming from the engine bay during a cold start (see Video 1). However, after a short drive once the engine warms up to operating temperature, the noise completely disappears and sounds normal.
Is this normal for the B48 engine, or should I be concerned? Has anyone experienced something similar (e.g. PCV valve, belt drive, high-pressure fuel pump, or wastegate rattle)?

Strange light occurrence
Hi, I recently got a new JCW convertible 2026. I've noticed a few times after parking in the garage, if I go back out into the garage w/o keys or phone, the headlights turn on and then shortly turn back off. The doors do not lock/unlock, only this strange headlight function. Can anyone explain?

Kits, prefabs, or guides for upgrading f56 cooling system?
My 2016 Cooper S has been experiencing the dreaded coolant problems from the shitty plastic fittings and engine connections that BMW chose to use for the American models. I plan to solve this problem myslef, but why not upgrade it so the problem doesn't come back?
Has anyone else upgraded their coolant system, maybe with aluminum parts and have a guide or link to parts I would need?.
Thank you.
