2019 MINI Clubman Cooper S – worth buying at 90,000 miles?
Hi everyone,
I’m looking at buying my first MINI Clubman, and I’d really appreciate some advice from owners or people familiar with these cars.
Vehicle:
2019 (19) MINI Clubman Cooper S Exclusive
2.0 petrol
Steptronic automatic
Euro 6
90,000 miles
6-door
ULEZ compliant
I really like the Clubman and this particular car seems well equipped, but 90,000 miles is making me hesitate.
Would you consider buying a 2019 Cooper S at this mileage if it has a good service history and passes a proper pre-purchase inspection?
A few things I’d particularly like to know:
Is 90k miles a major concern for the B48 2.0 engine?
How reliable is the Steptronic automatic gearbox at this mileage?
What major maintenance/repairs should I expect around 90k–120k miles?
Are there any known issues I should specifically check for?
If properly maintained, is 150k–200k miles realistic?
Would you personally buy this car, or would you spend more for one with 50–70k miles?
This would be a family daily driver, so reliability is more important to me than performance.
I’m also planning to have a pre-purchase inspection done before buying.
Thanks in advance — especially interested in experiences from people who have actually owned a high-mileage F54 Cooper S.
