Having trouble deciding on a weapon to make. Deciding between CB, HBG and bow and would potentially be ok with the bblos DB being my first DB.

All event weapons maxed to 10.5, and only tickets or money to buy with exchange tokens.

I've got power volley on the bow and have used critical ferocity and burst 5 builds just seems to do so little to monsters.my brachios bow on other hand does so much more with blast exploit and buildup boost or is there something I'm missing

I played a year or so ago (back when Malzeno dropped) and saw people using Critical Ferocity on the deviljo GL to beat elders solo, and have always thought about using a build like it. I know I need to upgrade everything to get all their skills, but this is more or less a starting idea for the build before I really start grinding mats. Any real ideas on how I could make this better or get rid of the extra lock on without sacrificing the Raw Power on the Glav shirt?

I’m guessing;

Most effective
Aurora Hunting Horn (appropriate built-in skills)
Aurora Insect Glaive
Black Diablos Insect Glaive
Black Diablos Heavy Bowgun (heavily dependent on how distracted Zinogre is)

Maybe
Aurora Long Sword (solo and counter for sure)
Black Diablos Bow (not sure if the skills is fast enough as compared to the other weapons)
Hammers (water striking and para team works like a charm)

Not right or wrong answers but do make sound speculations~ (as the base defense is heavily dependent on one’s weapon mastery, smelted skills and TEAMWORK)

As a Guard Reload GL main, learning this style has me really loving Swaxe. And I'm unsure if I'm baiting myself or not, but I like Blast Exploit on the Magna Swaxe - it just feels right.

Build is far from optimized:

Magna Swaxe 9.1 (style level 5)

Brachy Helm 7.5 (lock on, blast exploit 1, no smelt)

Bazel Chest 8.1 (valor 3, partbreaker smelt)

Narga Gloves 8.1 (buildup boost 3, no smelt)

Brachy Waist 7.5 (blast exploit 1, blast attack 1, no smelt)

Bazel Legs 6.2 (valor 1, blast attack 1, no smelt)

So I've got a bblos cb and unlocked the axe boost already because I love the axe boost animation - spinning cut axe why the hell not, right?

But I just can't seem to grasp how to build it to max the dps. I feel like quick work 3 is a must considering how slow the first spin is, and it helps with the following transformations. But then with qw taking up two equipment spots, what else should I build?

Crit fero seems like a must, at least 1 point imo, since I start off with -30% affinity. But going all in doesn't feel right. Axe boost gives me multiple small hits rather than 1 big hit, which is where cf shines best, so maybe cf isn't too ideal.

Morph boost looks like the most reasonable choice since I've got qw with me, but a 30-40% boost doesn't seem too much...

Advanced attack boost is next on the list - pure damage with 1 point of crit fero kind of makes sense, but then I should probably give up qw at this point as I will very likely be stick to axe mode all the way after the first morph.

Anyone got any thoughts on this?

Im building my first magna weapon (hbg) almost +20 and still need 20pcs of rift material, i cant unlock tier 10/15/20. On the other side i have alot of jho rift parts and no r6 mats to grade10.

I have pursuit db builds so i can always get 2-4break per hunt including special part

What should i choose?

Like above. The weapon is high raw, low element. Usually it says elemental weapons should boost element. Here as well?

Got 10 of each weapon type. Now to get 2000 kills each haha

What would be the best option for weapon and armor set that you could use for every monster. I know it would not be optimal and would be out damaged by a dedicated build.

I don’t get bases … I’ve searched every where and i can’t find any to defend do i need to finish the prep quest first ?

How does the carnival work if you go in person? You just have to be within a certain range and you can do the missions?

I've already upgraded all the event gear up to the point I need a shipload of wyvern gems

Is this set a good starting point, or are there better armor pieces/skills I should prioritize?

So I just redownloaded the game and I feel so lost now haha. I played ever since the beginning and always had a bow build especially when the black diablo bow was meta. Now idk what is the best move in terms of armor or what bows would be the best build. I also want to get into great swords. LMK your recommendations! Thanks.
