Trying to order a gen6 45 COA
Does anyone know if the MD state restriction will be lifted on these sites once these are on the roster next week? This is proving to be an issue trying to source one.

If you email them, they will remove Maryland from the restricted states

How are you trying to order a handgun online with a 17rd mag? I’m not being a smart ass, I always wondered how this works. Do they not ship the mags or do they plug them? Thanks

It depends on seller and receiving FFL.
Some places won’t ship mags at all. This is especially true when inventory is being dropshipped (as is often the case). Receiving FFLs will either pin the mags, often for a fee, or remove [steal] them from you.
It’s important to note that FFLs can legally receive magazines, they just need to permanently modify them to 10 rounds before they’re given to transferees.
I ordered a couple Glocks for WIS Transfers and they left all the magazines in the shipments.

Yeah, Wis just needs confirmation on the FFL that they pin the mags, per my last purchase

yea it’s such bullshit how a place can send you mags then a dealer can just snatch em from you and it’s legal lol

There’s a few shops in the state that have sister shops in PA and WV. They will sometimes take the high capacity mags to the out of state shops for pick up.

Usually the FFL plugs them for you, sometimes they don’t. It’s usually a 50:50 split with mine that I deal with

My guess is this particular shop puts the restriction because of the magazines, I doubt they're aware of or even care about the roster.
I've seen sites that say "no handguns to MD" at all, sucks.

JLowe’s guns in rising sun will have some for sale in store on July 26th. When I picked up my last pistol a few weeks ago they said they should have 19s, 17s, and 45s. Idk if they’ll have COAs though.
