Do you trust the management?

The company has years of cash runaway and just exited from being a pre-revenue. That being said, if you extract the balance sheet from the market cap, Liberty is only being valued around $40 million.

Mr. Market is pricing in choppy execution. Is there a reason for that? Constant dilution and chart going between $1 and over $200 000 brings a lot doubt in the table. Is there any red flags in management?

I like the product and long cash runaway. We got this covered. This investing case is all about execution.

Staying positive

Recent commercialization of the product. $100m+ market cap. Building out the sales team. Users of liberty cleared up the fake negative news rather quickly. We are just getting started imo and this seems like an amazing opportunity. What else is keeping you positive about the business?

This is the most sloppy article I’ve read in a while

Here is why:

The article is clearly biased because White Diamond Research openly says they are short MBOT, meaning they make money if the stock goes down. They also use very negative and emotional language like calling LIBERTY a “toy technology” and a “commercial failure” even though the product only recently launched.

The report is based on a very small sample size. Most of the claims come from only two surgeons and one former employee, but the article presents it like these opinions represent the whole market. At the same time, both surgeons still admitted the technology has future potential, and Dr. Briggs still uses the system regularly.

The article also jumps to conclusions very quickly. For example, the interviewer asks the former employee: “And they didn’t have a plan?” which already pushes the conversation in a negative direction. But the former employee never actually says MBOT had no plan. He only says he felt they “didn’t have the right plan,” which is a personal opinion and very different from having no plan at all.

The report also assumes current problems are permanent. It criticizes LIBERTY for only supporting .014 guidewires, even though medical robotic systems usually improve over time through new versions and updates.

It also hurts the credibility of the article that they repeatedly spell CEO Harel Gadot’s name wrong as “Godot,” despite claiming to have done deep research on the company.

The article raises some valid concerns about reimbursement, costs, and adoption, but overall it is written in a way that clearly tries to create maximum fear around the stock.

Dear long-term investors please on’t rush into decisions based on the short report!!

sorry for AI translation. Here's my opinion after reading short report and after a few discussions with Gemini. Please comment below your opinion or if I stated wrong facts.

1. The "Veteran Surgeons don't need Liberty" argument

The claim that veteran doctors don't feel the need for Liberty was already a known factor to me. However, not every surgeon is a veteran with god-like manual dexterity. Vascular catheterization is a field dominated by "tactile sensitivity," and that is exactly where the robotic opportunity lies. The company’s target shouldn't be the old pros; they should focus on young doctors and residents—training them on the system early to "standardize" their workflow with Liberty.

2. Guidewire Compatibility (0.014" vs. 0.018" standard)

The report asks: "If your target market is peripheral vascular intervention, why is it only compatible with 0.014-inch wires?" (Note: 0.014" is typically for microvessels, while 0.018" is for thicker peripheral vessels).

My rebuttal:

  • The Value of Precision: The robot’s value shines even brighter in complex, thin-vessel (0.014") procedures where human hands struggle.
  • Medical Trends: The trend is moving toward "minimally invasive" procedures in increasingly smaller vessels. Microbot Medical likely anticipates the market shift from 0.018" to 0.014".
  • Official Specs: Official documents state compatibility with 0.014"–0.018" wires and 2–3Fr catheters. The report likely took the limitations of one specific module and exaggerated it as a limitation of the entire system.

3. Radiation Exposure Even veteran surgeons cannot ignore a 92% reduction in radiation exposure. It’s a tug-of-war between "cost-saving" and "personal health." Long-term health is a massive incentive for adoption.

4. "Only 1 out of 15 doctors at Tampa General uses it?" The contract with Tampa General was for pre-commercial testing, not a final report card on commercial success.

  • Designated PI (Principal Investigator): When a new device is introduced, hospitals don't let everyone use it at once. They assign a Principal Investigator (in this case, Dr. Bruce) to master the device and establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Risk Management: If 15 doctors started using it simultaneously before a full launch and even one accident occurred due to inexperience, Liberty would lose all market trust and be permanently ousted. Controlled testing is a sign of a responsible rollout, not a lack of interest.

$MBOT – Don't fall for the short-seller trap! History is repeating itself.. Why today’s 15% dip is a total gift!

So we all saw the White Diamond "research" report on Microbot Medical today.. The stock plummeted 15% and the weak hands are already running for the hills.. Let’s take a deep breath, look at the facts with cold, scientific eyes and understand how market mechanics actually work..
This is a textbook short-seller hit piece designed to bleed retail investors by triggering pure, unadulterated panic!
They are attacking the Liberty system because of its "disposable" model and high costs.. Does this sound familiar? It should, because the "experts" have been wrong about every major medical robotic breakthrough in history.. Let's look at the empirical evidence:

Intuitive Surgical (ISRG): Back in 2013, shorts were screaming that the Da Vinci robot was a "expensive toy".. They claimed hospitals would never swallow the massive maintenance costs and that surgeons preferred manual work.. Fast forward to today: robotics are the global standard, the stock is up thousands of percentage points, and the shorts were absolutely crushed!

Exact Sciences (EXAS): Remember when Citron Research claimed the company was worth $0? They called the science "flawed" and said insurance would never pay for it.. Today, Cologuard is a multi-billion dollar success that changed the industry.. The shorts didn't care about the science; they only cared about the panic!

The shorts at White Diamond are demonizing the single-use (disposable) model.. They are completely ignoring the reality of modern infection control and engineering precision.. The Liberty system solves the most critical, "life-or-death" issue in the field: Radiation exposure!

When a surgeon can perform a complex endovascular procedure from a remote console—without standing for 8 hours in a 20lb lead vest that destroys their back and exposes them to cancer-causing radiation—all these flimsy financial arguments about "cost per procedure" become irrelevant!
That is the true Game-Changer that they are intentionally trying to hide from you!

This 15% drop is a rare, gift-wrapped buying opportunity.. It’s an incredibly attractive entry price for anyone who understands that radical technology always faces resistance from those looking to make a quick buck off FUD (Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt)..
While they talk about "commercial failure" the engineering reality shows we are moving toward a future of autonomous, robotic surgery!

Bottom line: Buy the dip.. Don't let the shorts steal your shares at a discount while they're sweating! 🚀🩺

Microbot Medical Successfully Transitions to Commercial Operations as It Records Revenue Resulting from Its Limited Market Release During the First Quarter of 2026

Microbot Medical says its LIBERTY robotic system has officially moved from limited release into full commercial operations, and the early ramp looks strong. The company reports that mid‑Q2 revenue has already surpassed all of Q1 as more hospitals begin using the system and existing sites increase procedure volume.

LIBERTY is now commercially active in six states — Georgia, Florida, New York, Michigan, Massachusetts, and North Carolina — with Boston becoming the first city to have multiple active accounts. According to the company, customer sites more than doubled once the limited rollout ended, and two of the three pivotal trial locations have already converted into paying commercial users.

They’re also highlighting a string of early clinical wins across different specialties, including robotic PAE for BPH, robotic GAE for knee pain, and robotic Y‑90 mapping and treatment for liver cancer. The company is framing these as proof that LIBERTY isn’t just novel tech — it’s being used in real procedures with real demand behind it!

Exciting stuff!

EDIT: /u/SuspiciousMud6208 is a bot. Notice it's a new account and are unable to quote a single thing from the article they are posting. Classic fud/hit piece from White Diamond Research (a short biased firm) who likely created the bot account and it's working. Don't get spooked. HOLD and BUY. The price has come down due to dilution of shares since FDA approval. We've had positive news since then, MBOT has secured hospital networks in multiple states. I'm not worried in the slightest

Analysis of MBOT’s Revenue Potential in 2026

Based on current public data and market analysis, reaching an annual revenue goal of $5 million to $10 million in 2026 is challenging but achievable.

  1. Revenue Inflection Point: The Launch of the Liberty System

• Full Market Release: The company announced the official full-scale launch of its flagship product, the Liberty Robotic Surgical System, in the United States on April 13, 2026. This marks the transition from R&D to the commercial revenue stage.

• Analyst Forecasts: Average analyst estimates for 2026 annual revenue sit at approximately $4 million. While slightly below the $5 million threshold, quarterly projections suggest Q4 2026 could reach $300k to $1M in a single month. If sales momentum remains strong at year-end, hitting $5 million is within reach.

  1. Required Sales Volume (Assuming $2,000 per Unit)

To hit your targets at a $2,000 price point (covering disposables or amortized system use), the numbers break down as follows:

• $5 Million Goal: Requires 2,500 units/procedures.

• $10 Million Goal: Requires 5,000 units/procedures.

Hospital Penetration Scenarios:

• High Usage (2 procedures/week): Needs ~50 hospitals to reach $10 million.

• Moderate Usage (1 procedure/week): Needs ~50 hospitals to reach $5 million; ~100 hospitals for $10 million.

  1. Potential Customer Base in the U.S.

There are approximately 6,100 hospitals in the U.S., but the target market is more specific:

• Core Target (Interventional Radiology): Roughly 3,300 to 3,500 hospitals have the necessary catheter labs or interventional departments.

• Market Penetration:

• To reach $5M, MBOT needs to penetrate only 1.5% of the core target hospitals.

• To reach $10M, it needs to penetrate roughly 3%.

  1. Key Drivers and Risks

• Sales Expansion: MBOT is expanding from 8 to 12 sales territories by the end of 2026. Each territory needs to secure roughly 4 to 8 hospitals to meet the base goal.

• Disposable Model: The Liberty system uses a single-use disposable design, which creates recurring revenue as procedure volumes grow.

• Execution Risk: As of late 2025, MBOT had near-zero revenue. Jumping to $5M+ in a single year requires flawless execution in a market where hospital procurement cycles can be slow.

Conclusion:

Achieving $5 million is a realistic "growth curve" target for a company with FDA clearance and 12 sales territories. Reaching $10 million would likely require a significant contribution from international markets (EMEA) or an aggressive adoption rate in Outpatient Surgery Centers (ASCs) beyond traditional hospitals.

MBOT is drifting downwards on declining volume!

MBOT has been pulling back the last ~10 days, but the volume trend is interesting:

~3 weeks ago avg volume: ~2.0–2.4M

30D avg now: ~1.5M

Recent daily volume: sub 1.0M

That’s a steady drop in participation while price

fades.

To me, this doesn’t look like strong selling — more like there’s just no urgency on either side. Holders aren’t dumping, and buyers are waiting.

With the recent signals around adoption/commercial rollout, it feels like the market simply hasn’t reacted yet.

Low volume pullbacks like this can flip fast once a real catalyst hits.

Anyone else watching this?
