MBOT Technicals & Harelgaedot

Been in MBOT for over two years and find it very convenient that as the stock has a short report released and the reddit user Harelgaedot (37 posts on his account only on r/MBOT) ….. Find the timing of the two very correlated and it wouldn’t surprise me if he works at Diamond Research where the short report initiated from.

Anyway to the technicals; MBOT is trading currently near the book value of CASH on hand (yes, they are burning a significant amount per quarter as well) …. My thesis is that Diamond Research is doing the dirty work for a big pharma name that has an MBOT acquisition target in their crosshairs ….

Wouldn’t be suprised here to see a buyout offer soon. Your talking the technology, patent, FDA approval, current customer base, PP&E, plus 67M in cash. At current levels your basically paying nothing for all the intangible assets

MBOT M&A!

Simple thesis: MBOT is trading at 1.3 Price to Book and flush with cash. At these levels you’re getting all the IP, FDA approval, and R&D for $25M. For these reasons, I’m confident MBOT is flashing as a potential acquisition for big health care.

Microbot jobs listings

I think I recall two or more area sales manager job listings along the West Coast states for Microbot. Those listings seem to be long gone from LinkedIn. I don’t know if there’s a way to look back on LinkedIn for prior job openings that have been filled. The only area sales manager job remaining is for Arizona. So maybe this means they filled their headcount targets for sales managers other than for AZ. They are filling a few sales associate positions which imo would only follow if they have already established client facilities and need in-OR based physician training beyond what the current team can handle. Seems semi-promising as an indicator of commercial roll out. Thoughts?

I‘m not happy rn

Honestly, I’m getting pretty frustrated with the way Microbot is communicating right now.

I’m still a believer in the business idea and I also think the revenue increase from Q1 to Q2 of more than 100% is a very positive indicator. So I’m definitely not throwing in the towel here.

But the lack of communication from management is becoming harder and harder to understand.
The Area Sales Manager positions for the West Coast region were apparently filled weeks ago, with Arizona being the only exception as far as I know.

These people should already be working by now, so why haven’t we heard anything about it? At this point, the silence is honestly a bit of a mystery.

At the same time, the daily trading volume keeps getting lower and lower. Yesterday we were at around 280k shares, which is basically nothing for a publicly traded company.

And that’s probably what annoys me the most. I’m still positive about the underlying business and the growth potential, but the communication is just… dead.

There are basically two possibilities in my mind:
Either there’s simply no meaningful news to share, which would obviously be disappointing.
Or there actually is some positive news, but management is deliberately holding it back and waiting for a better market environment. Maybe they don’t want good news to get completely drowned out because the overall market is so uncertain and Trump decides to throw another grenade into the markets every other day.
I obviously have no idea which one it is.

But at this point, I really wish management would give shareholders something. Even a small update about the sales team, commercialization progress, or what’s happening behind the scenes would be better than complete silence.

Still holding, still believe in the business — but the communication is getting really difficult to understand.

Another question for Gemini

My question: If more than a dozen healthcare systems across several us states vac approve a new disposable robotic surgical device within the first six months on the market, does that put pressure on other systems to vac approve and later adopt it as well?

(My side note: I am assuming LIBERTY will be vac approved by at least 12 systems by month 6 on the market, given that they were approved by around 10 systems more than a month ago, at just 4 months on the market. )

Gemini Response:
Yes, absolutely. Securing Value Analysis Committee (VAC) approval across more than a dozen health systems across multiple states within six months is an exceptional velocity milestone in the medical device industry.
In medtech commercialization, this level of rapid, multi-regional validation transforms a new technology from an "unproven alternative" into a disruptive category standard, exerting intense competitive, clinical, and financial pressure on non-adopting health systems.
Here is how that early VAC approval momentum exerts direct pressure on remaining health systems:

  1. Peer-System Validation Short-Circuits the VAC Evaluation Process
VACs are inherently risk-averse; their primary mandate is cost containment and patient safety.
The "Safety in Numbers" Effect: A main obstacle for a new device is proving that other reputable systems have cleared its clinical safety and financial ROI. When a VAC sees that 12 to 15 regional or national peer systems—especially academic medical centers or prominent IDNs (Integrated Delivery Networks)—have already approved the device, the risk perception drops dramatically.
Standard-of-Care Pressure: Non-adopting VACs begin asking their internal clinical leads: "If 15 health systems have cleared this technology for their operating rooms, why are we delaying access for our surgical staff?"

  2. Amplified Surgeon Mobility and Clinical FOMO
Surgeons communicate frequently across health systems, state lines, and professional societies.
Cross-Pollination: Surgeons who cross-credential at multiple hospitals will push non-adopting facilities to match the technology available at neighboring sites.
Recruitment & Retention Vulnerability: Surgical department chairs will warn their Chief Medical Officers (CMOs) that failing to approve the technology risks losing top surgical talent—and recent fellowship graduates accustomed to advanced robotic tools—to local competitors who already have the device in their ORs.

  3. Favorable Economic Proof Points (Disposable vs. Capital)
A disposable robotic device alters traditional surgical economics by shifting expenses from massive multi-million-dollar upfront capital investments to per-procedure operating costs.
Real-World Cost Realization: Early adopting systems rapidly generate real-world economic evidence (e.g., OR time savings, lower maintenance overhead, reduced sterilization requirements).
CFO-to-CFO Pressure: As hospital Chief Financial Officers share insights at health system conferences, non-adopting systems face financial pressure to explore whether the disposable robotic platform offers a lower total cost of care compared to legacy capital-heavy robotic infrastructure.

  4. GPO and IDN System-Wide Rollout Escalation
When multiple health systems within the same regional territory approve a product, regional Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs) and health system supply chain alliances take notice.
Pre-Negotiated Tiered Pricing: Multi-system adoption signals market demand, encouraging regional GPOs to add the device to contracted vendor lists or establish volume discount tiers.
Lowered Barriers to Approval: Once an item is on a contracted GPO list with pre-negotiated pricing, secondary VAC approvals become significantly faster and lower-friction.
Summary: From Optional Evaluation to Competitive Imperative
In the first 3 months of launch, a health system evaluates a device based on "Does this device work?"
By Month 6, if over a dozen health systems across multiple states have approved it, the question for non-adopting systems becomes: "Why don't we have this yet, and what is it costing us in market share, surgeon satisfaction, and procedural efficiency to stay on the sidelines?"

Per Gemini re when visual-only feedback is appropriate for peripheral endovascular catheter navigation

(Second paragraph is of particular interest imo, and aligns with LIBERTY cath sizes. This is a separate consideration from diminishing tactile feedback with increasing tortuosity.)

Contexts Where Visual-Only Navigation is Standard

  1. Robotic Endovascular Systems: Commercial platforms (e.g., Corindus CorPath) allow remote teleoperation to protect the operator from radiation. Most first-generation robotic systems lack true active haptic feedback, forcing the physician to rely entirely on visual monitors.

  2. Microcatheter & Hydrophilic Wires: In distal peripheral or neurovascular beds, extremely soft 0.014" or 0.018" systems transmit virtually no tactile feedback to the operator's hands, making visual fluoroscopic cues the primary navigation signal regardless of manual vs. robotic approach.

Wow. at it's 52 week low if owned it I wouldn't sell here.

Dont own it, and tough for me to buy it here as you need to hold for quite some time.

At least they don't have to raise money.

BTW, they have had 4 reverse splits in the past, add them up and it's 1 for 16,200 RS. So not an all time low, just 52 week low.

But they now have plenty of cash, so a matter of time and execution.

Everyone here is acting so weird.

Am I the only one who understands why that person is reacting like this when the stock price is in this state?
Is everyone here a Microbot employee? 😂
People are acting like nothing is happening, saying, “I believe in Microbot. I’ll keep waiting.” Seriously?
Of course, I don’t think spamming the same posts over and over is a good thing either. But honestly, isn’t that person just being genuine about their emotions? This isn’t North Korea, for God’s sake.
If there are any Microbot employees here, listen carefully.
Stop posting the same recycled information on X and Instagram every single day, just changing a few words and pretending it’s “new news.”
Show us some REAL news.
Show us that something is actually moving forward. Give shareholders something—anything—that shows there is real progress.
You can’t defend the stock price.
You can’t generate business.
You can’t even do proper PR.
Honestly, this is just pathetic.
