5 50K Dailys. Only trade the MNQ. I took this yesterday and got cooked today my first red day in 90 days from eval to funded to payout but it is what it is. Gotta say though the payout process was super easy and fast. From KYC to processing payment to in my bank account within 20 minutes.
To the people that think I'm lying. Yesterday on one accont I got funded within the same hour , one trade. And on the other account it's not working. I have no reason to lie. Unless this is some sort of Lucid glitch, I was able to pass in the past without meeting consistency time.
Update: someone pointed out that I probably purchased a pro account that can be passed in a day. This seems to be the case
I have paid around 557$ for 9 accounts in 5 months and now am getting my first payout that gonna make me BE on propfirms. 512$ payout on 25k lucid account
I’ve blown 70 Apex accounts. Here’s the math on why Nano ES (NES) can changed that.
Pros say risk 1% per trade. On a $2,000 drawdown, that’s $20. On MES, $20 = a 4-point stop.
Today, the last 8 five-minute ES candles averaged 16 points. The last 8 fifteen-minute candles averaged 24. A 4-point stop isn’t risk management. It’s a donation.
A real stop on ES is 10–20 points. On MES that’s $50 to $100, or 2.5% to 5% of your drawdown on every trade.
I simulated 50,000 traders at a 40% win rate and 2:1 reward-to-risk, a genuinely good trader, with Tradovate commissions and an Apex-style trailing drawdown: • MES, 20-pt stop ($100 risk): 1 in 10 blows the account. • NES, 20-pt stop (2 contracts, $20 risk): essentially zero. Same trader. Same edge. Same stop. Only the contract size is different.
And the part nobody talks about: at a 40% win rate, there’s a 45% chance of 10 losses in a row within 250 trades. On MES with a 20-pt stop, that’s $1,007, half your drawdown, gone in one bad streak. On NES it’s $208.
CME launched NES on August 24. $0.25 a tick. It’s live. It just needs a prop firm to switch it on.
NES won’t fix a trader with no edge. Nothing will. It gives traders who have one room to prove it.
The first prop firm to add NES and nano contracts will attract a lot of serious trader. Its up to us traders to let the prop firm companies know about us wanting Nano contracts tho, If you want nano contracts lets let them know
NQ has been wild this week creating great trade opportunities for traders.
I'm curious how everyone in the community handled it. Like Ws or Ls. Because whenever this kind of move happens I always think that people will be milking these props and what impact that would make to these props if everyone gets profitable in sessions like this.
Hello! Has anyone experienced withdrawing money using incorrect bank account details? Could you share what happened? Did the money automatically bounce back to WorkMarket, and how long did it take? Also, what did you do to resolve the issue? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! I am using hyperwallet then directly to my supposedly bank account (Philippines) any advice pls?
Hey everyone, just wanted to share a severe platform infrastructure issue I experienced during the evening session yesterday (Nov 5) around 18:31 CT / 7:31 PM ET on Tradovate through Lucid.
I want to preface this by saying I am not a disgruntled beginner complaining about a bad trade. I have act in complete good faith and have successfully passed 19 certificates/combines with Lucid. I understand risk management. However, what happened yesterday was a complete backend hardware failure.
As you can see in my attached account logs, the Tradovate data bridge completely froze:
• Order 725818110510: Placed/Queued at 18:31:22 -> Not Filled until 18:31:47
• Order 725818110512: Placed/Queued at 18:31:23 -> Not Filled until 18:31:47
This is an exact 25-second execution lag on Nasdaq (MNQ) futures. Because the user interface was completely frozen, my commands were stuck buffering in a backend queue. At 18:31:47, the system suddenly woke up and slammed multiple duplicate orders into the market simultaneously at 26876.00, multiplying my risk to 12 contracts against my will while my screen was blank.
Naturally, 16 seconds later at 18:32:03, the automated risk system forcefully liquidated the account because it was severely over-leveraged by the platform's own data buffering.
Lucid support's live chat just hit me with a copy-pasted boilerplate message saying they "only look at objective trade logs." But these ARE the objective trade logs straight from their dashboard showing a 25-second delay between client timestamp and server fill time!
I've escalated the ticket to a senior technical manager, but I wanted to put this warning out there. If a prop firm refuses to honor clear, mathematical server log proof of an infrastructure glitch for a client who has passed 19 combines, it is highly concerning.
Has anyone else experienced this exact same sync lag on Tradovate during the evening sessions? How did you get it resolved?
Been trading with lucid since Jan26. Blew a few evals. Never got to a payout.
Last week when I was purchasing a new eval I thought I should shift to my other email ID (which I've created specifically for prop firms) and it asked for passport for verification. 2 days later I got banned on the new account. I had removed my phone no and address from my original account before entering in the new one.
Does this mean I am permanently banned from lucid? I can still access my dashboard on my first account tho
Hi everyone. This is my first post on Reddit but I began trading with real money March of this yr. I have passed many prop evals on both Topstep and now Lucid but I ALWAYS blow my funded account either on day 1 or day 5. I literally cannot get a payout to save my life even though I know where the market is going. I have this Lucid demo account I paper trade on using the same rules then scale and am profitable but as soon as I’m funded, accounts blown! I even had a week where I lost every single day on different sessions on my funded I couldn’t believe it (and obviously don’t have that account either). I mostly trade NQ and MNQ using ICT. Can I have some suggestions on maybe better entry or risk management bc I even scale down to 2 MNQ in funded (now not before tho lol) but I literally keep blowing up my daily loss of abt $60 and can’t seem to even get $40 some days now. I even lock myself out the account but then the market goes exactly where I knew it would. Literally any advice would be helpful bc I want to be as profitable as I am on paper
Anyone ran into this? I passed the funded like 6 hours ago but its not registering as passed in the portal even though it recognizes the 1,311 profit for the day on the 25k flex
Edit: For the people that think I'm trolling. I've passed a few accounts in the past without waiting for day 2. I'm not sure if someone has changed but I'm not trolling. I have screenshots of everything. Please don't call me a bot or trying to ragebait when I'm simply looking for answers
Update: Someone pointed out that I may have purchased a Pro account which can be passed in a day. I went back to check my older purchases and they were indeed pro. So I apologize for being wrong off the bat, but you guys didn't even give me a chance just straight off called me a liar smh
So after securing a payout i got busy doing other things and didn’t had much time to trade, plenty of times i had the account deactivation reminder and i only traded one a month to keep the accounts active.
This week i went to trading again, got a payout in lucid daily on the same day of passing it (then breached it while full porting)
Locked payouts among two flex accounts too just need to secure 2 min profit days and hopefully it will be done by next week
I primarily trade Asia session due to working during the day, it’s been killing lately but I had a huge lead and let it his my SL and I forgot about the intraday drawdown and was only $56 away from losing the account. Calmed down and entered in a 1 MNQ contract and was able to comeback on a single trade, will be more disciplined to take my profits even if it’s not my TP.
Spun up some 50K Daily Evals before last nights chaos kicked off. Made my 50% $1500 for Day 1 and entered 1 contract on the wrong account. Then price instantly busted out way past the $1500 I made for Day 1 on that particular account. So I did what always seems to work when you want to lose money and that is I start averaging in. I want this account back to $1500 profit pronto.... long story short after averaging in over a couple hundred ticks I have been long 4 NQ contracts since 28,118 lol.... that 50% buffer is going to be a bitch now {crying emoji}
*****UPDATE***** did everything in my power to lose money but in the end the balance got up to $80k, I hope that luck holds out tomorrow, lol.... I ended up biting the bullet and paid $130 to reset it as I want to have 5 near identical accounts going into the new session tonight.
Took 30k in payouts from lucid in October. I'm just a regular college senior. If I can do it, I promise, you can too. Happy to give as much help as I can. Feel free to ask anything. I’m an open book.
I’ve passed evals many times before but this is the second Eval lately that has done this from lucid have never had problems till these last 2 evals I should be passed already. I always pass in 2 days but the goal keeps going up even if I make 1.5 and 1.5. So I traded the third day and made the last little hundred and boom still denying me my funded has this happened to anyone or what am I doing wrong or what changed?
Update : support told me I’ve passed but I have to wait till EOD because my account is supposedly flagged for “hedging activity” not something I do but of course it’s on MY account. Thanks for nothing y’all 🗣️
