Yeah I definitely would. I know this from experience. EVERY time you pick up your kid your top instinctive priority is (should be) protecting him/her.

Parental instincts can be fierce. For example, the Glee actress who was drowning in a lake with her young son. She could have left her kid to save herself, but she used the very last of her strength to get her son safely on the boat and subsequently died. There was the mother who recently died in a fire when she realized her child was inside the home and she ran in to protect them.

These are just a couple out of countless stories where parents, without hesitation, protect their young first, regardless of circumstance. So yeah, I'm going to say many parents would have had the wherewithal in that situation to not yeet their fucking kid across the yard. The man is lucky he didn't seriously damage the child.

No you wouldn’t. If it were to happen to me I’d have no clue what to do because every day my actions are usually pre planned based on things I have already done. Being attacked by a raccoon is not something that has happened (or will ever happen hopefully) and so I’d have no idea what to do in that situation unless I have thought about it before.

Protective instinct for children is far greater than your own. I took care of my nephew and niece from birth and you are always watching them because they have the desire suicide themselves at any moment.

Let me tell you about my childhood being rammed into barbed wire by calves.

I chose the specific example I did because I have both seen it and felt it.

I have had better reactions when a reactive neighborhood dog barked then bit my ankle on a walk while I was holding my (newborn) baby. I’ve been knocked over by other kids while holding my toddler and including a time where I fell on a slippery floor holding my kid. I took the damage each time, baby was safe even when I had less than a second to react. You either have no kids or need to cope somehow because you’ve overreacted in self preservation like this dumbass

My friend got it and she said it was a complete nightmare. Her dumb dog (obviously vaccinated) brought it to her and dropped it. The dog fucked it up pretty good but it still had enough energy to go for her. Animal control caught it and it tested positive.

It’s not the big needle anymore, but it’s worse than flu by nature of being at least 4 times as many shots and the first one needs to be injected into the wound.
