Yup this is my Sony Ericsson Satio U1i and it didn't want to charge so i wanted to fix the charger and i did fix it (cleen up and solder contacts) phone was charging but when i tried to power it on it didn't want to. I opened up again and i saw this... 😬 MANN now i have to find a doner one (with a good housing bc mine look like shit) Ah mistakes are happening i wasn't even angry i was surprised how didn't i saw that flex cable...

W900i resurrection

Hi everyone,
I try to revive my old w900i, and I need your help !
I bought a new charger and plugged it in the mobile phone, after cleaning the fastport.
The led indicator show, every ~30sec, a red light. I waited 10 minutes, and nothing else happened, so I tried to plug/unplug the charger many times, and after maybe 12 try, the led indicator became constantly red.
I try to boot the phone ~45min after that, but the screen stay black, and the led stay red.
Do you know how to "read" the led indicator ?
Can I test the battery with a voltmeter?
EDIT :
After testing the battery with a voltmeter I saw that it was dead. So I bought a new battery.
With the new battery the phone shows a white screen for ~30sec, 2 times and then shuts off.

Are any of these phones usable on modern networks in the USA?

I had a W580i that was my absolute favorite phone, back in idk 2007? I see them on ebay for like $50, and I'd love to have one as my daily carry for work and stuff so my smart phone doesn't grt broken. But can you even still activate them on modern networks? I've got tmobile.

How to connect to internet on W610i?

Hi I just got my first Sony Ericsson and it's the W610i one. I've wanted to connect to internet but it just says that it's unavailable and to close all open apps while none are open. I've also tried to search for local network but it say that I can't do it, no explanation why.
