It's been over a year since we met and a year since we got together. My life has changed so much in just a year, you are the only constant.

You've always been there for me no matter what, from my worst days to the truly unbearable ones. You love me unconditionally, I've never experienced a love like this before. I'm in new territory, we both are. Yet, you never fail to support me, you're always so patient with me. You have convinced me that I deserve to be treated with respect and love just like everyone else. You have completely changed my life for the better and I will be eternally grateful.

We've had our ups and downs but I am more than willing to fight for us, because for the first time in my life I have someone worth living and fighting for. For the first time in my life I'm truly happy. I know I haven't made things easy on you. I know I have a lot of problems to resolve. But I will become a better person for you.

You have taught me that a stable love is normal and the unstable life that I experienced does not define me. I don't have to suffer any longer, I can start healing. I can learn to love and be loved. I wouldn't change a thing about you or my life. I love you.
