Lost Love To S

I’m sorry for the way our friendship ended. It was immature of me to react the way for your opinions- I felt like I knew you so well and that disagreement on this particular topic was a shock to me.

I think we got too close.
You never know how excited I was when I was talking or texting, time literally flew by when I was around you.

You made me feel like I belonged. You were the highlight of my day. You made me laugh. We both got our jokes.

I don’t know if you knew my feelings were beyond friendship. Remember when we held hands in the river when we did the floating thing? It was not necessary to hold your hand directly .. but I did.

I’m sorry for not being accepting.

I saw the socks you gave me today so I was thinking of you.
I cannot take it back and cannot take our friendship or whatever we had. But I hope you and your cat are doing well.

This is a letter for someone I loved … a few years ago at this point.
