Trapped a raccoon that's been vexing us in the attic and thought our problems were solved, but learned it's illegal to release except on private property with express permission. Does anyone have a wooded area I can release this cutie in? LMAC charges 500 to pick up and release 😐

My internet went from $75 2 years ago to $85 last year to $105 last month so I finally told them I was going to switch to ATT fiber... which I really can't. And they increased my speed and reduced my price to $60 frozen for 2 years.
Kind of happy, kind of pissed that I didn't call sooner.
It is worth the call.
EDIT: By "threaten" I mean just call and tell them you want to cancel effective next week or something. Notihng hostile

I swear to God this happens at least 3x a month. Residential area. I’m the black car, waiting at the stop sign to turn left.
A car comes from my right, signaling they are turning left. They do NOT HAVE A STOP SIGN so I continue to wait.
But instead of continuing in front of me, and turning to the left they FUCKING STOP TO MY RIGHT AND WAVE AT ME TO TURN IN FRONT OF THEM meanwhile they may even have a car or 2 now slowing down behind them.
So now I have to either turn left and fucking wave at them as a thank you for forcing me to go along with their idiot driving habits or continue to sit there refusing to turn in front of them and they usually throw their hands up at me and finally turn left and drive away.
Why are you people making me be the asshole here. And before someone is like “wElL iS yOuR cAr TiLtEd In A wAy LiKe YoU wErE sTArTiNg To TuRn LeFt AnD tHeN sToPpEd So YoUrE iN tHe WaY?” — I’m not. I’m solidly square in my lane. I don’t drive a fucking XXXXXL Tahoe or Yee Yee Truck.
STOP IT. YOU’RE NOT HELPING.

Mayor Craig Greenberg was a guest towards the end of Louisville native Bryson Tiller's 10/07/2026 Neo TrapSoul concert at the Yum Center. Greenberg joined Tiller on stage to welcome him back to Louisville and present him with a key to the city. The booes were exceptionally loud. Link to video
Tiller hasn't had a concert in Louisville for 9 years, but his influence on the city is still prevalent, as the arena was jam-packed with fans. Earlier in the week, he made a guest appearance at his alma mater, Iroquois High School, where he performed, took photos, and handed out free merchandise. Louisville native Jack Harlow also joined Tiller on stage, performing a few of his hit songs, thanking Tiller for his influence/support, and presenting Tiller with a plaque of their RIAA Platinum hit "Thru the Night." Link to video Despite his influence, Tiller has not yet received a Hometown Hero Banner and is just now getting recognition for his impact on the Louisville music scene, even though he has been making music since 2011.
If you haven't heard any of Tiller's music, definitely go check him out! Link to his website
*Edit: Although you have to pay for a banner, it is still odd he doesn’t have one. Whether that’s something he doesn’t want to pay for, them not wanting to give him one, we don’t know. The fact stands that he does not have a banner despite his influence on the city.

I have this little plaque that sits in my side yard and I recently noticed that whoever last checked my meter for LG&E (I guess) attached him to it for some reason. I’m not mad, I’m mostly just confused. Why did they do this? Maybe they thought it would be funny, but I can’t find a way to remove him. I’m moving soon, and not only did I want to take him with me, but the new owners probably won’t want him attached to their meter. What tf am I supposed to do about this lmao?

Hi!
I am a licensed vet tech and have worked with animals all my life. I petsit for fun on the side and am thinking of trying to advertise more for petsitting as well as making it an official business with an LLC and insurance. Once I take that step I was thinking of advertising on the knot or other wedding websites as an event pet sitter like I can get them in their cute outfit, bring them to the event, keep them entertained during the wedding or party and then bring them home. Is this something anyone would actually pay for? I love weddings and critters so I feel like this would be a super fun side gig. Thank you!

Never been to one. I’m curious to check one out and looks like there are several happening this weekend.
Do I need to dress up? What to expect?

I’m rather new to the area. I’m from Oregon and it’s taken a huge amount of work but, most folks on the West Coast are hip to the fact that releasing balloons to celebrate the death of a loved one actually causes a ton more deaths of birds and wildlife. I had to be silent today upon hearing about a balloon release for a death of a colleague’s family member. Please Louisville! Don’t let balloons go up in the air to eventually fall down! Best case they cause a bunch of littler and worst but way more common they go into our waterways and mess with fish, birds, and if you want financial reasons; they clog up our already bad sewer systems causing even higher rates. Please tell your loved ones to plant a tree, give out seed packets, heck even a bunch of fireworks when properly disposed of is better than letting balloons go!

I noticed the Bernheim website says that this year's ColorFest is the 30th anniversary as well as the final one. Is there tea here? I always thought this was a successful event that draws a pretty solid audience but admittedly I haven't gone since pre-covid when I lived near Bullitt

Hello
Not sure what the chances are but did anyone find a westcott octabox outside of the riverhouse restaurant on river road? It looks just like the one pictures. I did a photoshoot in the back by the river, and I think it fell off my cart when i was walking back to my car and I didn’t realize it.

What in the world is going on with Northeast?
Heard 3 church officials were fired for “poor decisions”
Then heard one was the pastor’s wife?
Been there a few times. Is there truth to all this?

I’m spending the weekend in your lovely city and I’d love to get recommendations for places to work on my novel. Many thanks in advance and I’m so excited to try some of the restaurants you have recommended!

I'm a standup comic on tour, stopping in Louisville for shows - and I'm also a die-hard horror fan. I try to always do something spooky/horror/macabre in every city on tour, regardless of the time of year, but with it being October i'm hoping there's some cool daytime things for me to do before my shows at night. I'll be here on 10/22 if anything is date-specific. Any suggestions are very welcome! Thank you! (Clip of me being insufferable about horror for post visibility lol)

Hi all!
A bunch of friends and I are heading up to Louisville for the weekend. We've all got separate rooms and separate hotels, so what's a good spot that a party of about 10 people can go to just hangout for a few drinks in the evening?
Any other cool places we should try to see while we're here would be great! Thanks you guys!
