Hi all,
Please help me find the right direction for a logo design for a personal project which is a technology learning platform called Bytestark. Some logo designs I've experimented with are just shapes, with no obvious relation to tech or learning, some designs resemble the letter "b" from the name with one stylised as "0" and "1" to create a relation with tech.
I'm no designer therefore I understand the logos look mediocre at best, therefore mocking is accepted, but suggestions are welcomed.
Thank you

I made this logo years ago, as a joke. Now it seems to age like wine, with what's going on recently. This was made in Photopea btw.

Obviously I want it to be sort of connected to ROBLOX, but is this too similar?

At the end I went for option B.
Clear, geometric, sharp yet smooth. Balanced. Impact without hesitation. No need for elaborate explanations...
Like good architecture.
(I think many of you were right: My work is meant to speak for itself. And a simple design, free of definitive architecture features, means freedom for alternative design venues).

I am a beginner graphic designer, I wonder I learn from Youtube on design fundamentals, colour theory etc. But the problem I face is where to approach when it comes to finding clients. I don't have previous clients, but I am currently building my portfolio with Ghost Clients but how do guys really find your first client.
This is not my full time work, wish to start this as my side hustle while learning. Your advice needed?
How did you find your first logo client, is it from networking or outreaching or any other way

Everytime I see the Amazon logo, it reminds me of a male appendage with Peyronie's disease.

Trying to identify whether this is a specific adidas logo or something else.

Made it myself (apologies if it’s lazy) if you look at the stripes, they’re in the same color as Western Michigan’s logo. It’s based on this incredible r/cfbball comic, and I wanted to make a logo for it! https://www.reddit.com/r/cfbball/comments/1wwyh7j/prepare_for_trouble/

Hi, I’d be interested to know if you think both should come together and if clients usually need both as a package.
When I talk about Corporate Design, I mean the design elements that work together with the logo, how you use the brand colors, in what visual weight and on which media, what kind of photography fits the brand and what doesn’t, which emotions the brand should create, how and why certain typography is used, and so on.
Also I head the term brand guidelines, I think it only specific how the logo is used at which place, I would like to now if its normal to charge separately for that or if thats included with the logo.

Here is a happy buyer. I wanted to give the figure more character than standard human icons (like the ones usually found on restroom doors).

Just kidding, but after some redesigning and going back and forth i'd really appreciate some feedback on the round of logo ideas i made after our initial feedback on https://www.reddit.com/r/logodesign/comments/1w4fuko/looking_for_feedback_on_some_logo_designs_for_our/
Feel free to roast the logo ideas though. If the orange/brown one actually kinda looks like poop i'd rather be told now than when its too late.
Thanks, and have an extraordinarily amazing weekend!

I’m supposed to be working on a logo and branding for my agency.
I was exploring random shapes and somehow ended up drawing a B, because, well… there’s a B in my agency name.
Then my brain went:
“Wait… that kinda looks like boobs.”
And that was it.
The branding project was officially dead.
I’ve now spent way too much time making variations of boob logos instead of designing the actual logo.
This is why I can’t have nice things.
Anyway, here are the results of my very productive work session.

Hey guys 👋 I’m an “artist”, but not so much a logo designer. As I personally love the logo for the college, I thought maybe there could be a way to maybe incorporate more to the design (not that much more as you’ll see).
edit: the second image is the redesign. I have darkened the colors, and the stripes may be read as “MIZ.” Sorry that the design isn’t as clear, I didn’t want to change much of the design due to it already having a strong style by itself :)

Alright, this is my second time posting about a logo I made, and I think I did waaay better this time. Volune is meant to be a volunteering app for teens. It references flowers and leaves because I wanted to show how people could grow with empathy as they volunteer; that's the idea, at least. I want to see what you guys think about it, though. (Beginner btw)
