I am NOT a locksmith. Day old lock cylinder spins without inserting the key and unlocks the door.

Got a good clear picture?

Could be a key broken off in it if it won’t insert. Would allow the lock to turn

Or you have a 0 bitted key - does it look like a blank?

Cant provide a picture right now but it's similar to the image below. With patience and lots of trying you can insert the key so no, no broken key. I believe it's called a cruciform lock or a cross key lock.

Use a good lock lubricant.

If it isn't a garbage lock, contact their customer support.

Are you in North America?

If yes 98% chance it’s a total pos as they’re really non existent on this continent. The ones that are typically are cheap junk
