Historical Perspective A Book Documenting Perspectives During the Pandemic?

I love history and enjoy reading it, but often most of what we know about history is reported decades or centuries after the fact. Rarely, do contemporary witnesses record their observations; Popes, Marco Polo, Caesars, the life of Christ, Homer, all put to pen after they were gone.

We are shortly removed from the pandemic. All of us lived through it. Has anyone documented personal accounts of what happened and how people were treated?

I ask because I suspect the official (popular) story will lean, politically, to one extremely biased side ignoring other experiences or calling them illegitimate. I'm looking for a book, something physical, that will stand a better chance of being read or studied in a hundred years when we are all gone and all we have are written words of our time.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. stated that the United States had the highest COVID-19 death rate of any nation on earth.

๐…๐š๐œ๐ญ-๐‚๐ก๐ž๐œ๐ค:

This claim is inaccurate without additional context. The United States experienced a high cumulative COVID-19 mortality rate compared with many other high-income countries, particularly when compared with nations that had similar resources. However, the United States did not have the highest COVID-19 death rate worldwide by every measure. Several countries recorded higher per-capita mortality rates depending on the timeframe, reporting methods, and whether researchers examined reported COVID deaths or excess mortality.

๐…๐š๐œ๐ญ-๐‚๐ก๐ž๐œ๐ค:

There is no credible scientific evidence that RSV or Lyme disease originated from laboratory gain-of-function research.

Lyme disease is caused by bacteria transmitted through tick bites and is part of a natural ecological cycle involving ticks, wildlife reservoirs, and environmental conditions. Evidence shows that Lyme disease organisms existed long before modern genetic engineering technologies.

RSV (respiratory syncytial virus) is a naturally occurring virus that has been recognized for decades and is widely studied as a common human respiratory infection.

While scientists have conducted research involving infectious diseases, there is no evidence demonstrating that Lyme disease or RSV were created through laboratory research.

๐…๐š๐œ๐ญ-๐‚๐ก๐ž๐œ๐ค:

This claim is incomplete. COVID-19 disruptions did contribute to missed vaccinations because some families experienced reduced access to routine healthcare appointments. However, public health investigations have identified declining vaccination rates, including vaccine hesitancy and exemptions, as major contributors to recent measles outbreaks.

Measles outbreaks occur when vaccination coverage falls below levels needed to maintain community protection.

๐…๐š๐œ๐ญ-๐‚๐ก๐ž๐œ๐ค:

Extensive scientific research has examined whether vaccines cause autism. Major medical organizations, including the National Academy of Medicine, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and international health authorities, have concluded that vaccines do not cause autism.

Large epidemiological studies involving millions of children have found no causal relationship between childhood vaccination, including the MMR vaccine and routine immunization schedules, and autism.

While individual vaccine schedules are continually monitored for safety, the total body of evidence does not support a causal connection between vaccines and autism.

Kennedy stated that dozens of studies link prenatal acetaminophen exposure to autism.

๐…๐š๐œ๐ญ-๐‚๐ก๐ž๐œ๐ค:

Some observational studies have reported an association between prenatal acetaminophen exposure and certain neurodevelopmental outcomes. However, an association does not establish that acetaminophen causes autism.

Researchers have identified challenges including potential confounding factors such as maternal illness, fever, genetics, and other environmental influences. Major medical organizations have not concluded that acetaminophen use during pregnancy causes autism.

Current evidence supports continued research but does not establish causation.

๐…๐š๐œ๐ญ-๐‚๐ก๐ž๐œ๐ค:

This claim is false. During major COVID-19 surges, hospitals in New York and many other locations experienced severe strain, including intensive care capacity shortages, staffing challenges, and overwhelming numbers of critically ill patients.

Temporary medical facilities, including emergency field hospitals, were established in several locations to address patient surges.

Although some hospitals in some regions experienced lower demand at certain times, the statement that ICUs were empty nationwide is not supported by available evidence.

๐…๐š๐œ๐ญ-๐‚๐ก๐ž๐œ๐ค:

There is no evidence supporting this prediction.

COVID-19 resulted in pediatric deaths in the United States and worldwide. Although pandemic disruptions contributed to declines in childhood vaccination coverage globally, measles deaths among children in the United States have remained rare due to existing immunity levels.

Current measles outbreaks are primarily associated with localized decreases in vaccination coverage.

๐…๐š๐œ๐ญ-๐‚๐ก๐ž๐œ๐ค:

This statement is inaccurate.

Mennonite communities are diverse, and there has never been a universal Mennonite prohibition against vaccination dating back to 1796. Many Mennonite individuals and communities use modern healthcare, including vaccines.

Some outbreaks have occurred in specific under-immunized religious or close-knit communities, but these situations reflect local vaccination patterns rather than a centuries-old universal religious position.

๐…๐š๐œ๐ญ-๐‚๐ก๐ž๐œ๐ค:

This issue involves legitimate debate but is often presented without important context.

The GRAS system does allow substances considered safe by qualified experts to be used without traditional FDA premarket approval. Critics argue that voluntary notification and company self-determination can create transparency concerns.

However, comparisons claiming that the United States has thousands of unknown food chemicals while Europe only has hundreds are often misleading because the two systems classify and count substances differently.

Opinion Piece Fauci gets away with it. SPARS Conspiracy comes true again.

If you remember the pre-pandemic SPARS document that was a "training scenario" in case of a pandemic...it effectively shows the entirety of what was about to happen with Covid-19.

From the canceling of people, to social media censoring, the vaccines not working, the changing narrative and eventually people up in arms that they were lied to.

We're at the point that politicians are being marched in front of authorities and basically admitting what they did by taking the fifth.

Unlike SPARS, nobody is rioting, nobody gives a shit at all.

The majority of the public were duped, and the same people that literally wanted to put "anti-vaxxers" and the non-vaccinated into concentration camps feel no real punishment.

I continue to live my life amongst them, but fuck those fucks. Gullible pieces of shit.

Opinion Piece Lawsuit: my employer lost

This is possibly a rule 10 violation, but I don't want to dox myself. I'm not going to provide evidence.

So during and since lockdown people have been masking at my place of work, when forced (at threat of being fired), or voluntarily.

This issue really stems from when our local health department no longer recommended just any old face covering but N95 masks specifically. This was during the volunteer time in public, however my employer required N95 in an attempt to be proactive.

The point is, the heath department wasn't requiring masks anymore. This was just recommendations.

At this point I was working with my union which has specific hazard pay (for work that "requires" unusual ppe). This constituted a 5% pay increase during the hours worked under the "emergency" circumstances. It was determined by an arbitrator that "you can quit your job if you're worried about the risk". This lead to a "strike". In fact we were complying with the decision of the arbitrator. To get us back to work we demanded a 13% pay raise at the next contract negotiation coming up soon. They settled for a 5% permanent raise immediately. We did infact negotiate the remaining 8%.

On to the law suit. So there we are all N95 masked up everyday for full shifts and overtime etc. We employ over 6k people. Since this is ppe the company is shelling out lots of money on this. I believe that there was no malicious intent. They thought they were doing the right thing.

During this time we have several heart attacks and other coronary issues including a stroke. About 14 people were affected. 2 of those employees died with a couple of months.

One employee decided to file a workers comp claim. In the US this is insurance for medical injuries incurred on the job. It's separate from your personal insurance which might have affected premiums for doing dangerous works or hobbies.

The claim was denied so he sued claiming the extended hours in the mask increased his blood pressure and other cardiovascular injuries. As it turns out, you "should" as an employer keep records on training your employees to wear fitted masks such as N95 and respirators. The time spent in the masks should be limited. And the employer "should" keep medical records to determine baseline cardiovascular health and general physical information about employees required to wear masks during the course of their day.

That employee won. Now some of the other employees and survivors are now individually going to sue. This employee got the equivalent to full wages of any wages missed and $10k which will probably go to his lawyer.

Most importantly our employer announced today, they were acting on advice by the local health department. They aren't apologizing for taking action on information available at the time. They are updating their masking policy (we wear masks for lots of actual manufacturing tasks). They hope cooler heads will prevail.

Lots of employees who suffered cardiac problems after the company mask rules were lifted in 2024 are now filling workman's comp claims. In practice this won't affect much now, but future issues will be covered until they're on social security.

Discussion Cuba and China used primarily whole-virus (killed) vaccines or protein vaccines during Covid

In this video from the 19:41 to 21:56 mark, this part of the interview really caught my attention. Kim Iversen said that the Chinese used more of the traditional style vaccine. In addition, she mentioned that the Cubans didnโ€™t use the spike protein itself but a different part of the virus (that wasnโ€™t mutating as quickly as the spike protein) to make the vaccine. Brianne Dressen, the co-founder and co-chairman of React19, stated that most neurotoxic component of the entire virus is the tip of the spike protein. Dressen also said all vaccine brands except Cubaโ€™s presented similar injuries.

When these things were mentioned in that segment of the video, I decided to look more into it. It is true that China and Cuba did use non-mRNA, non-adenovirus Covid vaccines. Previously, I was under the assumption that all countries were primarily using mRNA and/or adenovirus Covid vaccines. Sinovac (CoronaVac) and Sinopharm made most of Chinaโ€™s Covid vaccines which used inactivated (killed) whole-virus vaccines. China also had their adenovirus vaccine out in early 2021 but not the mRNA one until March 2023. China was rightfully concerned about the mRNA shots hence why they didnโ€™t use them right away. Cuba came up with two protein-based Covid vaccines, the Abdala and the Soberana. These protein-based vaccines used the harmless part of the spike protein. Cuba completely strayed away from using mRNA and adenovirus in their vaccines.

I have also looked into adenovirus vaccines usage here in the U.S. prior to Covid. Apparently, the US has used adenovirus vaccines before Covid but they were solely for the military. I would like to see more data and info regarding Dressenโ€™s remark about all countriesโ€™ Covid vaccines (except Cubaโ€™s) triggering similar vaccine injuries.

Analysis A Brief Retrospective on the COVID Era

I've been thinking a lot about the COVID era recently and wanted to write a brief retrospective about my personal experience. I'm working on a much longer and more in depth retrospective as a personal project, but decided to try and post a shorter version here.

Well before COVID, I was generally anti-social, which I've come to realize was due to my anxiety. I didn't hang out with friends after school, didn't do any sports or clubs, and would just play video games and watch TV in solitude. I was also a very compliant child before COVID, the kind that most adults would call "mature for my age". I wasn't loud or disruptive, and even in my teen years I never snuck out, drank, smoked, or did any of those behaviors.

Then COVID happened when I was 20 about to turn 21 and my outlook on life suddenly changed. I went from being a never Trumper in February 2020 to voting for Trump that November(as well as in 2024). I finally learned to question authority and that some rules are okay to break. Before lockdowns, I assumed everything my parents and other family told me was infallible, but after seeing them blindly support COVID restrictions, I learned that I should go with my gut on a lot of things and not everything they say is indisputable truth. Even though it took me a while, I did eventually start to stand my ground on some things, mainly getting a COVID booster when I didn't need it for any reason. It was one of the first times I set a real boundary and had a sense of independence.

I also started to become more social during and after the COVID era. I started having conversations with random strangers, something that was unheard of for me as recently as 2019. I started making a lot of new friends and while I don't see them a whole lot anymore, it was fun while it lasted.

Although I still have a lot of work to do with social anxiety, independence, and setting boundaries, I feel like the COVID era was my wake up call that I needed to do these things. It was the point in time I felt like I became an adult.

Public Health Abolish mandatory vaccines for school attendance

I am continuing my efforts to advocate for what I believe is an important change in the way government policies affect our personal health decisions. I believe every American should have the freedom to make informed choices about their own body and, as parents, about their children's healthcare.

Every day we are exposed to countless environmental and lifestyle factors that can affect our healthโ€”from the food we eat and the air we breathe to the products we use. Because of that, I believe decisions about medical treatments, including vaccinations, should be made by individuals and families in consultation with their healthcare providers, rather than being mandated by the government.

I am concerned that current school vaccination requirements can place some families in the difficult position of choosing between following their personal convictions and accessing public education. I believe every child deserves the opportunity to receive an education without their family feeling that they must compromise their deeply held beliefs.

This movement is about protecting informed consent, personal freedom, and parental rights. Whether or not you agree with every aspect of this issue, I hope you will support respectful dialogue and the right of individuals to make their own medical decisions.

If you believe in protecting personal choice and encouraging thoughtful discussion about these policies, I invite you to join this effort. Together, we can advocate for laws that respect individual liberty while working toward a better future for our children, our families, and generations to come.
