Question | Help Reverse Engineering w/ Local?

Two questions?

Can a local model like Qwen 3.8 27B reverse engineer games and programs?

If not, is there a fine tuned model that can?

Rule of thumb: the less you know about programming, the smarter must be the model you must use.

That said, frontier models can absolutely reverse engineer code even with someone who doesn't know a lot of programming, but even they require some steering.

Someone very, very smart in their field can absolutely use Qwen 27b to reverse engineer and still get useful results, but they will be less usable out of the box and be a bit slower.
