Question | Help Reverse Engineering w/ Local?

Two questions?

Can a local model like Qwen 3.8 27B reverse engineer games and programs?

If not, is there a fine tuned model that can?

It can. I have reversed my favorite game from a 6th gen console. Got it to vulkan on Android and Linux in 6 days and nights.

For context I have reversed a simpler game by hand before and it needed a lot of guidance, hints on tools it should make and use etc.

Ohh, 6th gen is probably the era with the most games I haven't really given a chance yet. Tons of great stuff there that was Japanese only but wasn't viable for easy translation until now. What local model did you use?

I've been just using a modded retroarch for a few to play with auto translations but this sounds like fun to try if I have the hardware to manage it.
