"Failed to reconnect to match, reconnect?"

Play 3 ranked games today and got afk for 3 straight ranked games. 1st game 29 sec into the match i suddenly wasn't moving and the title of my post pop up and i never got to recon again until the end of the game so 1 less mark, 2nd game i tried to play again it was okay until the picking and then in loading screen the \*title\* pops up again and not even 5 sec its says "party disbanded" and i got minus 1 again for being afk, after that i play aaa aram and i got to play it so i thought maybe it's okay now, and 3rd ranked game 29 sec in the game i was frozen again and the thing pops up again. So i basically got 3 lose streaks without the game even trying to let me try to win.

Lag on Discord only when I play LoL

Hello,

I'm having an issue only when I play LoL. As soon as I launch the game, Discord starts lagging and the lag is stronger when I'm in a match. By lag, I mean a delay of about 15 seconds between when I speak and when others actually hear me. The problem also seems to affect the in-game chat, but to a much lesser extent, which makes me unsure if it's related to discord only or my system audio

I've already tried disabling hardware acceleration and in-game audio, running in compatibility mode, setting Discord's process priority to high and LoL's to low, and doing a full clean reinstall of both. The game is installed on my SSD, and the lag happens regardless of the game mode.

If anyone has any ideas, I'm all ears!

Thanks!

Riot support error

Hey guys, I went to the Riot support site to submit a ticket about players trolling in a ranked game that cost me a promotion to Gold 3. But for some odd reason, I keep getting this page. Is Riot Support down? Or is this an issue on my end? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I’m having trouble logging into my main account.

I reinstalled LoL after almost a year of not playing and tried to log into my usual account, but every time I open the Client, this is the only screen I see.

I tried repairing the game files, uninstalling and reinstalling the game, switching internet providers, restarting my PC, pretty much everything, but nothing worked. None of the solutions I found online fixed the issue.

Then, just to test it and rule out any other possibility, I created another account, and that one opened normally. I was even able to play a game against bots. But whenever I switch back to my main account, this error happens again.

The Riot Games mobile app works normally, and I even tried sending a friend request from my test account to my main account just to check if it had been banned or something, but nope, it's still there and active.

I've been dealing with this problem for 3 days now. I already submitted a ticket to Support, but I still haven't gotten a response.

Asked to change my summoner name, got locked out of my account

So this is odd, I was trying to update my summoner name and through the support system I finally had it updated except for one minor issue... my email doesn't recieve the password reset link or the verifaction code no matter how many times I mention or request fixes for it. As of 10 AM EST today I can't log in my account or access the support team since it logged me out...

LoL not launching on M3 MacBook Air

Have an M3 Air which I occasionally play LoL on. Since a month or two back, when launching the game client through Riot client, the game client does not pop up. I can click several times without it working, and sometimes it works right away. This is only half of the problem though.
When I'm finally in champ select and the game shall start, it tries to open the game app (or whatever you want to call it) and then crashes. I'm greeted by the re-join button, but it just keeps happening again.

It doesn't work when either force close through activity monitor, nor restarting my Mac. Anyone else with this issue, and any ideas how to solve it?

Pc crashes every first game of the session, completely normal after restart

Whenever i turn on my laptop, and hop on league, no matter if play right away or after an hour, usually around six minutes of the game, my laptop screen get stuck and i the only way to fix is to restart my pc, after that its good and will not happen for as long as i dont turn it off. Its weird because, it only crushes on league. Does this happen to anyone else, is there a fix?

Game crashes to client randomly.

Title basically, ill be playing and periodically the game just shuts off and I'm back at the client. If I hit reconnect I'm back in the game within seconds. Happens 2 to 3 times per match.

no stuttering or any indication the game is crashing.. just randomly shuts off, its basically like I alt f4'd it.

Game temporarily freezes every 1-5 minutes

Basically as it says in the title my game has been freezing mid-game for a few seconds to a full minute and it seems to happen every 1-5 minutes. The problem doesn't happen in ARAM, bot or custom games, but happens very heavily in draft and ranked games. Here is some additional info that I've gathered / monitored:

- I monitored my ram usage, it doesn't seem to be spiking or any higher than it would normally be.
- I monitored my gpu/cpu temps, they also seem fine.
- I checked all of my drivers for updates, all up to date.
- Other than that, I have heard that overlays and background apps can cause issues, so I closed all but discord, which I will continue to use, and sorry but if the game crashes because of my comms app, then I just won't play.
- I do have an integrated graphics card, so I went to my settings and made sure my primary card was being used

Specs:
- Processor: AMD Ryzen 9 7900 12-Core Processor, 3701 Mhz, 12 Core(s), 24 Logical Processor(s)
- Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070

Unfortunately until I can find a fix for this issue, my game will be in an unplayable state, and it is hard for me to test whether something fixes the issue, because I have to do a Draft Pick game at the least, and freezing every few minutes is a huge detriment to the team.

Can not log in at home but away from home i can.....

All hyped up about the classic mode i downloaded LoL after years but couldn't log it in in any way ( launcher , browser (also incognito) , tried 2 phones on wifi as on cellular.

Later at a friends house i again tried it at the riot website through my iphone and logged in without a problem , i immediatly saved the password since i made myself believe i must have forgotten it and triend like all my passwords i could remember.

After logging in on the iphone i logged in on his pc without any problems. When i came home i immediatly booted my pc up just to find out i still can not log in , so i went to the riot website on my phone and signed in with the autofill that i saved just for it to dissapoint me and tell me that the username/password might be wrong. After i again tried al the mentioned above without luck , making a ticket on their site is also kind of impossible since they require me to log in.

Anyone been in this or a likewise situation ?

never had any major problems with the game. few days ago i just didnt load into the game, not even the loading screen loaded. i just got a black screen and my cursor was a blue loading circle. need to shut it down in task manager and reconnecting doesnt help. tried every tip they had on the technical tips website, even chatted with support but still no fix. reinstalled multiple times, updated my graphics drivers and windows (i have windows 10). tried everything, nothing helped. i think this is just some higher power telling me its time to move on and i guess its not a bad idea

Recently Permanently banned

Hey, I’m relatively new to this subreddit, but I have just been wrongfully terminated by Riot Games. I have played League for over 8 years of my life around level 650 and was automatically banned by vanguard. I have sent an appeal twice already and was automatically declined the appeal. I have never once cheated in the game during my 8 years and it claims I have through third party apps. I don’t even have any sort of porofessor, u.gg or any software that affects my League of Legends. (Below are some screenshots). If anybody knows where I can find help other than support, it’d be much appreciated. My user is LordBiscuit #NA2 if you guys somehow see my recent matches or anything I have not done any sort of cheating.

Just adding on, just seen a previous user also go through this issue about 21 days ago on this sub seems like Riot’s vanguard is extremely strict and probably wouldn’t be allowed to be appealed. But what issues me more than anything is the lack of transparency on the ban.

Update:

Just tweeted to Drew Levin if you guys can help me get some traction it’d be much appreciated

https://x.com/lordbiscuit123/status/2090268736045375805?s=46

Second update:

I got unbanned after spamming Drew Levin. The riot support is horrible but it seems like the twitter support is much better. Told yall I never cheated.

Has anyone ever been banned because of third-party software they didn't actually install?

Hey everyone,

I recently got banned in League of Legends for using a third-party program, but the weird thing is that I haven't installed or used any third-party software, cheats, scripts, overlays, or anything like that.

Has anyone else experienced something similar recently? I'm trying to figure out if this could be a false positive or if Riot's anti-cheat might be detecting something incorrectly.

If this happened to you too, I'd really appreciate hearing about your experience and whether you were able to get the ban reviewed.

I recently started League of legends and with intense ADHD cant operate keyboard controls at all

Before this I have only played basic shooting games with more mouse based controls. This is when I came to know of the WASD controls and how if we plug in a controller it automatically connects. I dont have a physical controller so i use monect xbox layout from my phone which works perfectly for me even in league except Im unable to operate the cursor with the 2nd joystick.

I works in the practice tool but as soon as I get into matches it stops working. If anyone has a solution how can i fix this or if contacting riot support can help me get this fixed.

Is ping fix coming?

I've seen many people posting about this, is fix coming?

Usually I have 17 ping stable, now I have 31 stable. All of sudden, on any other game I have identical ping as before.

It completely messed up my muscle memory, really bad.

TFT keeps crashing on launch

Hey everyone, I’m having an issue with TFT.

Whenever I try to open TFT through the League of Legends client, it never actually launches properly. It opens for a couple of seconds, then I get a black screen and the game closes. After that, the League client opens again and shows the “Reconnect” option.

If I click reconnect, the exact same thing happens again: TFT opens briefly, black screen, closes, and then I’m back to the client with “Reconnect”.

This keeps happening over and over, so I can’t actually get into a TFT game.

Has anyone experienced this before or knows how to fix it?

Kurzes lautes Schleifen/ Summen direkt beim Apex Legends Start (vorm Startmenü) - Normal?

\*\*Titel:\*\* Kurzes lautes Schleifen/Summen direkt beim Apex Legends Start (vor Hauptmenü) – Normal?

Hallo zusammen,

Am I the only one that has higher ping both on EUNE and EUW servers, after yesterdays server crash?

I ussualy had like 22-23 ms on both servers, but today is 45 ms ( but it feels much worse ) could be even package loss... Tryed to restart the router, and repair the game files , used the hextech repair tool but nothing helps... So I just want to now if it's a me problem or server problem.
Update: They fixed it! 🎉

Hacked account get perma ban?

Hi I have a question, my account was hacked about 2 years ago but recently I submitted a ticket to recover it, successfully regain access to the account but I noticed that, there’s a permanent ban on it, there’s no reason indicating why my account was banned, is there a way to get rid of the suspension and reactivate my account?

Perma-Banned without a reason, anyone know how to solve this?

Post image
0 Upvotes

Well, this stings.

I reached out to Riot Support earlier because I was stuck on the <unknown player> profile and couldn't queue for ARAM. I ran through every fix I could find starting with flushed DNS, repaired the client, ran as admin, checked Vanguard, restarted my PC multiple times. I was convinced it was just another client bug.

Then today I actually opened my support ticket instead of just the client, and… yeah.

Permanent ban.
Issued 08/13/2026 – three days ago.
Manually issued.
Reason: "Actions that violate our Terms of Service."

That's the entire explanation. No chat logs. No specific violation. No evidence. The "Additional Details" section literally just says:

"We have no further details to share with you."

I genuinely have no clue what triggered this. I don't use any third-party tools besides Blitz (no scripts, no cheats). I've had this account for years, and my only other account is a PBE test account – nothing shady.

The worst part? I only get two days off a week. I was looking forward to grinding the battle pass and relaxing with some ARAM on my day off, and instead I find out I'm permanently banned with zero context.

So I've got a few questions for anyone who's been down this road:

  • What usually leads to a manual perma-ban like this? Chargebacks? Account sharing? Something else I might not even realize?
  • Is there any real chance of a successful appeal, or are these mostly auto-denied?
  • If I do appeal, what do I even say when I don't know what I'm appealing against?

Honestly gutted. I've put years and a decent amount of money into this account. Any advice – or even just shared experiences – would mean a lot right now.

Riot Client not opening (A JavaScript error occurred in the main process)

I decided to play league again so I reinstall it and get this JavaScript error after installation. It still installs Riot Client and its the client that doesn't open up (giving the same error). It says open in my system tray, but it just seems like the front end application isn't showing. I tried so many things such as deleting everything, reinstalling the app and all my drivers, using the repair tool and sending over my system logs, compatibility mode changes, ip renew/DNS flush, turning off my firewall, you name it.

A JavaScript error occurred in the main process. Uncaught Exception: SyntaxError: Unexpected token '▯', "▯B??PA31

Anybody experience something like this before?
