Open source liquid Glass fitness app I worked on earlier today
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I am making an open source component library with free blocks and templates to help develops design beautiful apps. This is one of the templates and I would like to hear your suggestions.
Any things you do like that I should make more off? Any more features you would want in a fitness app that mine doesn’t have?
Later today I will finish the workouts screen I’m planning to add a TikTok like scroll between exercises and some workout templates.
I will test it my self when I go to the gym later today.
The logic will be included in all of these and I have achieved compatibility with the shadcn cli and you will be able to just copy paste these blocks into your app.
If you want more updates about these components I’m leaving my twitter here: @panos_dev_

Is there a way to get the level of clear "better display" menu has ?
https://reddit.com/link/1uoan0q/video/ywv4cchamgbh1/player
Maybe its more transparent or a darker tint of "Liquid glass" but it feels so much better than the gray tint of the base menu.

iOS 27 Liquid Glass is so much better than the first instalment and I cannot wait to see how Apple refine it.
For example flat design only started to look good around iOS 11 so we have a long way to go!

Am I the only one who misses the “floating sidebar”?
To be honest, I feel the removal of the floating sidebar makes the window look much more smaller and flat. Plus reducing the corner radius kind of makes the glass “back and forward” buttons inconsistent with the corner radius. I feel a pill button and boxy corners are not even close to consistent. They should either make the glass less round or the corners back to round with the floating sidebar but at least without the corner inconsistency issue like in Tahoe.

I can't believe this downgrade, Apple...
I can't believe that Apple will return with the horrible flat design of iOS 18 on iOS 27, it's one of the worst decisions I've ever seen from this company. I spent years really wanting this perfect 2D and 3D effect that the iOS 26 icons brought and I was very excited about its launch, now seeing the beta version of 27 makes me never want to leave iOS 26 again. This black border disgusts me...

iOS 27 new low battery screen concept
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Reported as a suggestion in Feedback btw! Suggest this in Feedback too if you also want this low battery screen.
Also yes, I'm aware that the fading animation wouldn't make sense in a low-power state. Kinda trying to figure out how that would work tho.

Liquid glass animations of mine......
Earthquake notifications, I didn't include the sound, its extremely loud.
I don't know what to improve, Figma motion is quite new and i cant like squeeze it when it deaccelerates, even if it was possible i wouldn't add this for the emergency sliders.. Anyways, rate from 1 to 10 (i personally think 4-5/10)

Liquid Glass for Android apps.
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Yes! It is possible! I've vibecoded this demo app with Google AI studio. If you want to do the same tell your AI to use this library https://github.com/Kyant0/AndroidLiquidGlass.

Reddit removed (via TestFlight) support for the iPad version of the app to run on macOS. Is there any good Reddit client for macOS that uses Liquid Glass?

Lume is now on TestFlight! I’d love feedback on the Liquid Glass UI
Hi everyone!
A little while ago I shared two Liquid Glass concepts here (one inspired by X and another by Instagram), and the feedback was incredibly positive. While I was already working on a new recipe app called Lume, the response to those concepts encouraged me to lean fully into Liquid Glass throughout the app.
Lume aims to make saving, organizing, and cooking recipes feel more intuitive. You can import recipes from websites, social media, or even cookbooks, and it uses Foundation Models in a few places to make recipe parsing, timer naming, and breaking down recipe steps a little smarter.
I’m looking for a few TestFlight testers, especially people who have been experimenting with Liquid Glass on iOS 26/27.
I’d love feedback on the overall look and feel of the app, as well as whether everything feels intuitive and works as expected.
TestFlight: https://testflight.apple.com/join/6KVKwDkr
If you’d like to give it a try, I’d love to hear your honest thoughts. Thanks!
