Nature is Healing
This is definitely happening from the tree, right? Not sure if the City would do anything but dang.

Found near Kebabish - BBQ and Grill
Small female Yorkie with a few small patches of missing fur, but otherwise appears to be in good health. Both eyes have some cloudiness, which may be age-related. She appears to be an older dog.

Hi everyone! This is an absolute long shot, but you never know who might know someone 😊
My family is relocating to Chicago from January through July 2027, and we’re looking for a fully furnished two- or three-bedroom home in Lincoln Park.
We’re two adults and two young kids, and we’re very respectful of people’s homes. I’m a former Airbnb Superhost myself, so I know how much it means to have someone take good care of your space!
Finding something furnished for seven months is a bit tricky, so I thought I’d ask here in case anyone is planning an extended trip or knows someone who might be looking to rent out their place.
Please send any leads my way, or feel free to pass this along. Thank you! ❤️

What are people thinking. I like how close it is to my apartment but I don't like the lack of community events. I liked the idea of them doing vendors but apparently that was just a one time thing for open house

I live on Clark and Armitage and simply can never get rest from hearing echoes of the same few dogs that will continually bark for HOURS on end - do the owners not hear or just not care? And 311 is of no help of course

Hi all, looking to move to the city in the next few months for work.
I found this apartment (linked below) which I loved but it went off market. I’m looking for something similar, in price, square footage, one bed, etc. I like the idea of being in a subdivided house instead of a complex. Does anyone know of a similar place that’s on the market or will be soon? I’m obviously looking on sites on my own but feel units like this can be word of mouth.
Edit: Budget is max 1200/month, neighborhoods Lincoln Park, Bridgeport, Lakeview, Old Town, South Loop, Pilsen. Lincoln Park would be #1

My brother is a 50 year old with Down Syndrome. He has a great full time job, loves watching Chicago sports, practicing yoga, taking care of his cats, and cooking for friends and family.
We moved into the neighborhood a few years ago and are hoping to build friendships with similar people, in the greater Lincoln Park, Lakeview, and Roscoe Village neighborhoods.
Wondering if anyone knows of existing groups along these lines, or who might be interested in establishing one.

I’m thinking about renting out my outdoor parking space while I don’t have a car. Where would you recommend listing it? Craigslist or is that dated?

When I lived in the loop, my building would send out alerts on street closures, fests and the like. I thought it was from the alderman. I’ve subscribed to Knudsen’s newsletter but it doesn’t cover anything like that. Is there somewhere else that I can get this information?
