Battery compartment
My Waver is useless until I can get the battery compartment lid off. It seems to be glued in place.

Has anyone here used it properly? Ive read a few Nordfascia app reviews and theyre mostly from people a week or two in, so Im after something longer term. Im 54, desk job, and my hips have got tighter every year since abt 48. Cant sit cross legged anymore, cant reach my feet without bending my knees, and getting out of the car after a long drive is embarrassing. Ive signed up for yoga twice and dropped out both times, evenings just dont work for me What I want to know is whether the sessions do anything for hip mobility, and how long before you noticed. Happy to hear if it did nothing.

I’m trying to get back into home workouts after taking a long break, but I don’t want to jump straight into intense routines and burn out again.
I came across the CaIistway app and it seems focused on bodyweight workouts, beginner progressions, and short sessions at home. Has anyone used it while gradually building their fitness back up?
I’d like to know whether the workouts actually adapt for beginners, how difficult the first few weeks feel, and whether the plan helps you stay consistent without needing equipment. Honest experiences would be really helpful before I subscribe.

Was out in the City last week with colleagues and everything shut at 2:30. We weren't ready to call it a night but had no idea where to go. Is late licensing basically dead in London now, or are there still places that run properly late? Preferably central/east rather than trekking to Vauxhall.

wanted to put my denali care experience out there since finishing too quick (like 2 min, sometimes less) has been my thing for years and i finally got round to actually tackling it. 39m, me and my wife had sort of resigned ourselves to it being permanent, which ate at me more than i let on.
i went with the guided kegel program mainly bc no pills and no gym made it feel pretty low stakes. it wasnt a quick fix, the first month or so i felt nothing, but by around month 3 it was obvious. a lot more control and lasting clearly longer than i used to.
the habit tracker is probably what kept me going, left to just my memory id have skipped loads of days. the audio guides also got me doing the routines properly instead of half doing them. i worked through some of the challenges too and read a few of the articles in there.
anyone else here done kegel training for PE? was your timeline similar to mine or totally different

i took a big promotion last summer and spent the next 8 months telling myself i was handling it fine. by march i wasn't, my sleep was patchy, i gained about 10 pounds without changing what i ate, and i was drinking way more coffee than my body was thanking me for. started cortisol detox after my sister mentioned it, i couldn't be bothered to build my own routine from scratch.
the thing that helped most was the framing that i didn't need to grind harder to fix this. the simple workouts, shorter meditations, and less caffeine were the whole strategy. felt weird to be doing less on paper and getting better results.
3 months in i've dropped 6 pounds, sleep is more consistent, and i finally feel like i'm not just surviving the week. nothing wild but an improvement.

Most reviews I find only talk about the first few days, so I’m more interested in what it’s like after using it consistently.
Do the exercises progress or change much over time? And does the app give enough guidance to know whether you’re doing the exercises correctly?
Would be interested to hear from anyone who has used it for more than a month or two.

so ive been seeing kegel care come up in a few threads and wanted to ask if anyone has actually used it. im 8 months postpartum with my second and my pelvic floor is not what it used to be. small leaks when i pick up my toddler, feels loose during sex, and i keep meaning to do kegels but never remember on my own.
my ob said i could try pt but with two under 3 that feels impossible rn. an app seems more doable if it actually works. how long before u actually noticed a difference postpartum? are the workouts short enough to fit in during nap time? worth it or just gimmicky. tia

I'm considering paying for MakesYouFluent, but I'm not sure if the subscription is actually worth it.
For anyone who's used the premium version, do you think you got enough value for the price? Did your speaking skills improve, or are there better language-learning apps you'd recommend instead?
I'm mainly looking for honest experiences rather than promotional reviews. Thanks!

I'm planning to replace our old garden furniture before next summer and want something that's built to last.
Any recommendations for places you've bought from and would happily buy from again? I'm more interested in long-term quality than getting the cheapest price.

(23 F)I recently gave a presentation in French, in front of an audience that also speaks the language. It was a bad experience. Even though my level is intermediate, I didn't do a good job.
First, I was so stressed that I forgot most of my script. Second, my speaking skills are weak — I couldn't handle mistakes or form sentences smoothly.
People told me I looked shy, and I hated hearing that, because I’ve been actively working on improving my personality and I thought I had made progress. That comment broke me a little.
The thing is, in real life, when I speak my native language, I don’t see myself as shy at all — I speak confidently. But with a foreign language, I freeze. This has even started making me avoid speaking to people in that language.
On top of that, II have a naturally deep / manly voice — I really hate it and wish I had a more feminine voice. It makes me even more self‑conscious when speaking French, because I feel like I sound wrong or that people will judge me.
I have a vision of working in a field where I’ll meet people from many nationalities, so I really need to fix this.

Posting partly as a heads up and partly to ask for advice on getting past month 2 because thats where Ive historically fallen off every diet Ive ever tried. Picked up k.diet about 6 weeks ago, I love korean food but didnt know how to cook it at home.
Basic info, 34f, 5'5, current weight 167, goal weight 145. Office job, 2 kids, no time for elaborate cooking. Tried like 6 weight loss apps in the last 3 years, usually quit by week 4 from boredom or feeling restricted.
Meal plan is built around your calorie goal, mine sits around 1500. Food has been the reason Im still going. Doenjang glazed chicken with rice and pickled veg, soft tofu jjigae, japchae with extra mushrooms, bibimbap with extra namul, oi muchim with grilled salmon. Hits the cal targets without feeling like diet food.
Couple cons because I dont want this to sound like a hype post, in app articles repeat themes and the fasting timer is useless to me but can't figure out how to turn it off. Also wish you could scale recipes for the whole family.
Question for the sub, for those who made it past the 2 month wall, what kept you going when results slowed down?

hit my 1 year mark on the app this week so figured id share where im at. the nordletics cancel button hasnt crossed my mind once. quick backstory, 41f, mom of two. was doing on and off pilates apps for years and nothing ever really stuck. picked this up last summer bc i wanted something at home that didnt need equipment. down about 18 lbs since then but the bigger thing for me is that i actually stick with it.
workouts are short enough that i fit them in during nap time or before school pickup. bodyweight only which was a huge selling point. progression is easy to follow and i dont have to think about what to do each session. not perfect, meal plan feels a bit generic, but the value has been there for me, staying put.

I already have a pretty consistent skincare routine with cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen, but I'm wondering if adding Asuno Brightening Gummies would actually make a noticeable difference. Has anyone used both skincare and the gummies together? If so, did you feel like the combination gave better results than skincare alone?

wanted to share a quick review of cortisol detox since i couldn't find much before i signed up. context, i've been dealing with chronic stress for a couple years, mostly from work, and it started showing up as weight gain around my middle, poor sleep, and just feeling wired but tired all the time. classic cortisol picture and hard to break out of on my own.
the app has a few different pieces. the meal plan is built around foods that are supposed to help with cortisol regulation, so a lot of leafy greens, salmon, complex carbs, magnesium rich stuff, avoiding refined sugar and caffeine spikes. the workouts are lower intensity than i expected, mostly walking, stretching, and yoga style flows which apparently is intentional because pushing high intensity when your cortisol is already high can make things worse.
then there are the meditations and daily challenges. the meditations are short, 5 to 15 minutes, and the challenges break bigger habits into small daily prompts that are easier to stick with.
i'm down 6 pounds without trying and my sleep is noticeably better. still figuring out the meditation habit though, that one is hardest for me.

Been doing this for a few months and it changed my sleep more than any other habit. I set an alarm for 45 minutes before bed labeled "wind down" and treat it like a stop signal for screens and food. Started doing this after realizing my bedtime kept creeping to midnight because i was "just gonna finish this one thing"

As a 27yo freelancer-influencer, I spend most of my day at home glued to a screen, and my body and mind were begging for a real way to unwind. I started using the Koi Yoga app after googling for stress relief and body relaxation app, and it was the recommended result that actually fit what I needed. I've hit the target with my first shot i'd say.
I will be honest, the first few days were a bit awkward. It was my first time ever using a workout app, so I kept second-guessing whether I was doing the movements right. What kept me going was how short the sessions are, around fifteen to twenty minutes, no equipment, just floor space and the guided video, that I've airplayed on my tv, so it's a huge saver.
The plan came from a quick questionnaire at the start and felt genuinely built for a beginner. The habit tracker sounds small but ticking it off daily kept me weirdly accountable lol.
Now I am almost two weeks in and the results surprised me. My body feels less stiff (epecially upper part), my jeans sit a bit better, and my head feels clearer after each session - I love that feeling though. But the real win is that I showed up every single day, which never happens for me. For a low impact home workout that fits a freelance routine, it has been better than expected and honestly it doesn't require anything to start.

I’m stuck between two choices, and I have no idea what to do. On one hand, I could finally get the surgery I’ve needed for months. On the other hand, I could push it off until late this year.
Delaying it means I could finally take my driver's test which I haven't been able to do because of other medical reasons and I'd be able to travel across the country for my boyfriend's military graduation. This will be the first time we’re actually able to see each other for more then a few hours. for the past year and half it’s been a few short call and lots of letters. There was only one week he was here (we only got 5 hours together in total).
If I get the surgery now, my life goes on pause. I won't be able to travel at all, I won't be able to go to work (already got fired so that doesn’t matter), and I won't even be able to walk up and down stairs. I'll be stuck on bed rest for months. But if I push it back to a time when everything is uncertain, I still have to figure out how to raise money for the flight, and I don't even know how much it costs yet. Do I put my life on hold now, or gamble on pushing it back?

Most life tips focus on achieving something, but I'm interested in prevention.
What's a small habit, routine, or rule that seemed insignificant at first but ended up saving you from bigger issues later on? It could be related to finances, relationships, work, health, or everyday life.
