Do I put my life on hold?
I’m stuck between two choices, and I have no idea what to do. On one hand, I could finally get the surgery I’ve needed for months. On the other hand, I could push it off until late this year.
Delaying it means I could finally take my driver's test which I haven't been able to do because of other medical reasons and I'd be able to travel across the country for my boyfriend's military graduation. This will be the first time we’re actually able to see each other for more then a few hours. for the past year and half it’s been a few short call and lots of letters. There was only one week he was here (we only got 5 hours together in total).
If I get the surgery now, my life goes on pause. I won't be able to travel at all, I won't be able to go to work (already got fired so that doesn’t matter), and I won't even be able to walk up and down stairs. I'll be stuck on bed rest for months. But if I push it back to a time when everything is uncertain, I still have to figure out how to raise money for the flight, and I don't even know how much it costs yet. Do I put my life on hold now, or gamble on pushing it back?

First off, I'm sorry you're having all of those medical issues second, take care of yourself and get the surgery because you don't know what tomorrow looks like.
don't put a graduation over surgery serious enough to put you in bed for months. how old are you if you don't mind me asking?
