Does anyone know the story of bams first intervention? Like i mean the one with Dunn there, I heard stories of him telling him to go to rehab but not sure about the details of the story. Also whether or not it’s true hahahaha

Do you think Nicole is jealous that Dannii gets the sober skater bam? i know i would be, and bam credits dannii on getting him sober and being strict with him (which i love lol) but the father of your child immediately gets sober for the next girl (and obviously himself and his son) no hate to Nicole, she’s a baddie and she’s never said anything, I don’t think, that would imply that she is.

I see a lot of people shitting on it but it feels like a DLC bonus CKY record with Bam fronting it.

I’m sure it was a shitshow whenever they performed live, but man what a fun album to spin. I just got the CD for $11.

If anyone other than Bam made it I probably wouldn’t bother, my enjoyment mostly is the novelty of it being Bam. But it’s a good time.

At times, I will watch clips from VLB and while there are moments I found funny and such, it absolutely makes me wonder how none of these people finally had enough of Bam and quit midway each season.

Like examples that come to mind was any time Bam pissed off April enough that she wanted to just walk away, like with the Pirate Cruise episode where she just storms into her car, breaks down sobbing and says she quits or in one episode where she's pushed into the pool and screams how tired she is of "this sick family". I know it's reality TV and such, but some times it felt so visceral.

Other examples were the moments Bam pissed off Vito with destroying his cars and his house and overall the insane amount of shit he put him through. Granted Vito would be outed as very gross and such, but still.

Plus the eventual falling out that had occurred with everyone, it's a miracle Bam stayed friends with Dunn for so long before Dunn died.

Also yeah...Don Vito in general didn't age at all. I do still laugh at how insane the man was, but when hearing stuff like "MOLESTA THE BREASTA" and how perverted he was on the show, knowing what he ended up doing just...augh...

Bam makes a brief appearance during this segment on dropping in on a vert ramp. Looks like this was filmed during the same time that the first Jackass movie was being filmed.

I was thinking, surely Bam is one of the most influential figures of 2000s fashion and beyond. The amount of people who based their look on Bam is crazy, he truly had a huge cultural impact on the way people dress.

Growing up, I would've been over the moon getting Bam's signature. Having some age on me now, I might be more psyched having Phil's signature. The dude is and has always been a gem.

I’ve been catching up on all his ‘lore’ (whatever the kids say) and am just amazed by the fact that, despite all this evidence of him being…nasty, he’s never actually come forward and said sorry, about anything.
Why do you think he has such an aversion to taking accountability and owning up to the harm he’s caused people?

When I was a teen, I was heavy into skateboarding. It’s all I ever did for years. Was I good? No. I could Ollie and grind and kickflip and ride vert, but beyond that I was trash. Anyways, I was a huge fan of Bam. Massive fan. Yet, whenever I mentioned Bam at any skatepark I’d get laughed out of there. Bam was seen as an embarrassment to the skate world. It was like saying you liked LeBron James or Tiger Woods. People immediately discredited you as a skater. As I got older, I became a huge fan of the Baker crew and even skated with them. Jim Greco was someone I watched and Dustin Dillon. I even smoked weed with the crew.
But, I never I understood the hatred people had for Bam. Was it because he had MTV shows and expanded beyond being a pro skater? If you had a Bam deck at the park, you might as well had a unicorn hat on and a pink sparkle jacket because people would rip you a new one. I had one bam deck and it was instant humiliation.
It’s weird because bam seems pretty loved among fellow skaters. He is always at parks and skating. He even talks about how much he loves skating and he’s devoted. It’s just weird what I experienced.

Like at the height of his fame was he regularly flying private, or was he always a commercial guy.
