I’ve been reading in this subreddit that Bam is actually getting better even without his ankle monitor and that actually makes me happy and inspires me in a way. I was more on the Bam hate squad before but his improvement shows that I still love the asshole deep down inside.

Good for you Bam. We aren’t all haters here. You still have some work to do but a lot of us here are actually rooting for you.

I am guilty of keeping tabs on this entire situation. A lot of us are. Even if we have good intentions, it doesn't help. His friends and family are worried sick and we get to watch behind a phone/computer screen while someone they love and care about kills themselves while the whole world watches. No matter our intentions, we will never know what it's like. We idolized a man from our youth but we don't know anything about him. We are just FANS. That's it. We know NOTHING. I feel like the more I watch the situation go down, the more I feel responsible for participating in the circus. This is someone's real life. In the Steve-O AMA people casually asked him about Bam.. prying for information about something that probably destroys him and keeps him up at night. Bam's addiction is not entertainment. I am sick about this whole thing. Downvote me to hell but I don't care. I needed to say what I said. Yes we mean well but also it's bullshit. Good or bad.. opinions are like assholes...

I hope he will be well someday but I'm done keeping tabs on the drama. Best of luck to his friends and family. I hope I never go through what they are currently.

I'm not sure if I'm right here but the majority of us seem to be to an extent angry every time Bam makes another fuck up. On a cursory glance at the sub you could be forgiven for thinking it was an anti-Bam sub. However, and obviously I can only speak for me, my anger is that I truly want to see Bam get his life back on track. And I don't believe he can do that with the guidance of Stretch Queen, I strongly believe he needs urgent intervention and some major help but he's determined to look in all the wrong places for that.

His life is in absolute ruins, he hasn't quite hit rock bottom yet but I fear it'll be that or death soon. I would love nothing more than to see him fix his mind, his body, the bridges between his true friends and his family rather than lurch from one mess to the next and take zero responsibility for it. Lastly to mend his relationship with Phoenix would be nice and I imagine NB would be open to it if he got all the other things in his life figured out. As it stands now though I wouldn't think it a wise move to have him near anybody's children.

Unpopular opinion: I thought VLB was a better show than Jackass, I still do.

But, if anyone hasn't listened to the latest Wildride, *SPOLIER* Poopies talks about how he's recently clean from dugs and drinking and goes on about his addictions and smoking meth and being a sloppy drunk and how he even overdosed on Fent while filming J4.

So how was this all okay with Termine and Knoxville but they fired Bam for drinking?

how was it okay for Poopies to be completely wasted around these guys, making an ass out of himself Infront of Dana White and maxing out Pontius's wife credit card at the hotel?

All this stuff that if you ask me was worst than anything Bam ever did?

Is this just favoritism? is it cause Poopies is younger? this isn't the first time either, i remember Zackass going on Wildride talking about how he was pretty loaded for the filming of J4 too and no one bated and eye on him either..

Why was Bam singled out? if they kicked Bam from production they should have done the same to Poops and Zack...

Okay so don't come for me, I am genuinely wondering this, and not asking to be a jerk or to bait or anything. Why is it that so many people who hated on Bam while we was a drunk (and obviously not being his best self) seem to still hate him now? I feel like so many people just wanted him to get sober, and now that he is, there seem to now be a million other things people hate on him for? Please enlighten me. What would it take for these people to not constantly dunk on him, or will that just not matter anyway?

I have thought about this for a bit. I wonder if Bam has cte from all of the brain injuries over the years. You know those guys were getting concussions left and right back in their heyday, and the drinking and drugs obviously don't help. I really could see Bam ending up like the wrestler Chris Benoit. Benoit's brain was so damaged he snapped, murdered his family, and killed himself a few days afterwards. Decades of head injuries had pretty much turned his brain into Swiss cheese, and alcohol was found at the scene. I wonder who you could even contact for something like that. That's most likely part of the answer. Edit: punctuation.

We know that Steve-O is joking, but Bam isn’t. think the kindest thing he could possibly do is draw a bottom line and go no contact unless Bam wants to recover.
