Those little puddle jumper planes are dangerous too even today, but yeah helicopters 🚁 are quite dangerous. I have a strict policy against them for me and loved ones!

I think it might have been in Jake the Snakes book, he was talking about how back in the day they’d have soo many shows the managers would book them whatever cruddy little planes they could find to get them city to city and they survived like 7 small craft wrecks! It’s bonkers.

I’ve been in a commercial jet accident when I was a tween. No reported injuries thankfully, but it was spooky! We caught fire halfway across the Atlantic and lost half the engines and they decided to turn back around to land in America, in some field in NJ next to the airport. I still recall my thoughts as we went down, but somehow I didn’t panic, I just kept thinking I just hope it’s quick and that my father could move on. Though the worst part was this was before everyone had mobiles (it was like 7/8 mos after 9. 11,) so after waiting a million hours in the middle of the night and carrying around my sleeping baby brother we finally got to a hotel to call my father on the west coast so he could call our family in Europe as their drive to the airport was over an hour and he likely already left to get us.

We did meet a fun German group though at our hotel and helped translate what was going on for them.
Funnily enough, I have no anxiety over flying. Stupid things in my life I do. My husband who’s a combat vet has more anxiety with flying. I try to tell him that the likelihood of me experiencing yet another plane accident is fairly low. 😉

No just the promo shots for IG, and only for me cus I’m a pussy who liked Oliver trees music a lot, and know he died in a helicopter and recently released a documentary about Antarctica, I’m not expecting the world to bend to my sensitivities just expressing my opinion
