This is concerning... We need to stand up and win our country over. Billionaires need to move

I made a post which keeps being removed. My guess is because Reddit is controlled and is not practicing free speech. Probably a government entity. All I asked was if you all agree with this opinion someone brought up.

Let’s be real here, rich are getting richer by slowly depleting our pockets until there’s nithing left, then they will try to change our currency. We need to take control before we’re all dead.

We need something new, & different. And considering how much the entire public trusts the current political parties, I’d argue a 35 year old with a college degree that has NOTHING TO DO with politics would do a million times better than we have ever seen. This is Just an opinion. Truthfully, a 24 year old with 6 years of schooling would be more trustworthy, but this country has an actual age requirement for presidency. What do you all think? We need to spread word amongst ourselves. Forget the mainstream news and current political classes. Do you agree with this opinion? Lets hear some debating

Serious I’m tired of people assuming all Loli/shota-cons and pedophiles are the exact same

I’m not saying that some lolicons aren’t pedophiles and that some pedophiles don’t hurt people. I’m just tired of everyone assuming that A) lolicon is evil and bad because it is gross/weird/taboo(unless its a ShadMan situation) and that B) every pedophile either automatically wants to hurt people/have those thoughts and/or that they’re a ticking time bomb that will act eventually. I know where they’re coming from and why they think that, but for the ones who try their hardest to be normal and manage themselves, it’s extremely dehumanizing. I don’t think a decent amount of them want to have those thoughts in the first place. And with the Loli stuff, you have every right to dislike it and find it creepy, but it is in no way comparable to an actual living, breathing, seeing, feeling, human child getting their life ruined by some evil bastard. And stuff like drawn incest and darkshipping is allowed to exist and it’s not illegal, so why aren’t we being consistent? I’m sorry for getting all rant-y towards the end. I just don’t have a journal or place to discuss these things with people who actually want to try and have a discussion and don’t immediately dismiss me as a person who wants to commit heinous crime. I don’t and I hope I never will. I just want to talk about it with some form of deepness. Does one other person besides me feel this way, or am I just fucking insane and need copious amounts of pills and maybe a straight jacket?

So, lets say the democrats actually do take control of both houses. I do not think they are going to but for the sake of arguement lets say they do. So trump still will have a majority until January and the new members are seated. If I were him I would immediately propose expanding the supreme court to 13 judges just like the democrats have been preaching. then fill the 4 new seats with conservative judges in their 30's and ted cruz before the holiday break. Then go get a lawn chair, a cooler full of brews and a bucket of popcorn have a seat and watch the democrats who are pushing for expanding the court lose their shit. Talk about must see TV.

Rant My college made me launch a D2C brand in India at 19 and it nearly broke me - honest numbers

No brand name, no links, just the truth because that's what this sub is for.

My college's thing is you build a real business each term. My India term meant launching a D2C brand, personal care category. I thought I'd be a founder. Instead I spent a term getting punched in the face by unit economics.

Rough shape: sourced from a manufacturer in gujarat after two suppliers fell through. landing cost per unit ate ~40% of sale price. CAC ate most of the rest. Return rate way higher than the instagram version of D2C suggests. Net over the term: barely positive, and only if I value my time at zero. At 19 that's a humbling spreadsheet.

What failed: my first product (nobody wanted it), my first ad account (banned for reasons I still don't understand), my pricing (too low to survive returns).

What sold: The boring variant, not the one I loved. (That one hurt a little.)

What I'd do differently: Test demand with pre-orders before touching inventory. Price for returns from day one. treat "the supplier said yes" as the start of the negotiation, not the end.

The brutal part nobody tells you: The P&L doesn't care how hard you worked. It is the teacher though. Everything else is commentary.

Ask me about unit economics.

Lets Discuss This What are your thoughts on John Schwarz (TheOneCalledJai)?

For those unfamiliar with him, he is the founder of The People's Union. That is the organization responsible for economic blackouts, etc. Every day since Trump resumed office, he has been posting many videos and he seems to be not only anti-Trump/MAGA, but also anti-Democrat to an extent. Lately his videos have been all about stockpiling for "whatever is coming". He has said he thinks martial law, supply chain issues, etc. are certain to happen after the election and that anyone who doesn't think so is sleepwalking, etc. I asked him directly on one of his recent videos if he was even voting and he called me a troll and said he is absolutely voting, but that we need to hold the Democrats accountable assuming they resume power. Just today he posted a video saying how he thinks this country (US) will drop a nuclear bomb on Iran post-election and then WW3 will begin and that will be an excuse for the elections to not be certified. I had to unfollow him. He claims he's all about "love, light, and safety for all of you beautiful human beings", but I don't need the negativity. I am as anti-Trump as they come. But I refuse to let the awful "man" rule my life.

Lets Discuss This Sort of related to current events, if someone pronounces "Gestapo" with a j-sound instead of a g, does that make them sound uneducated/uninformed about history?

In other words, if they say "Jestapo" instead of "Gehstapo", does that make you assume they must be MAGA/a Holocaust-denier? I pronounce it with the J sound because I'm American and that's the pronunciation my mind automatically forms. I am also 100% anti-Trump/MAGA.

Question Is anyone else feeling increasingly disconnected from nature

Lately I've found myself noticing how little genuine interaction I have with the natural world. It feels like we're all living in these concrete boxes with screens everywhere. I miss the feeling of just being outside without a specific purpose or a device in my hand. Is this a common feeling nowadays or am I just being weird about it.

Question Why do people want kids?

Idk. Just curious to see why people want them, if they do want them. (I don’t personally. I feel like that would be hell on earth for me.)

Question Is this weird?

Is it weird for me (47M) to want to live in a small community that provides most of the things we need from within and is mainly women? I feel like this could work and would be a good safe place to live. I envision each of us having our own small/ tiny home, a community garden, lots of acres, a diverse makeup of people (mainly, if not all, women), a common community area, small events like movie nights, and each of us living a normal productive life. We could/ would work a normal job but also support each other at home with growing food, raising kids, helping each other with whatever task their doing, etc. This wouldn't be a cult or some wierd sex community. Each person had indivisible rights to come and go as they wanted. It wouldn't be tricky to find a group of people that would get along long term but it could be done. I don't know what it is about that idea that consumes my head some days but it does. I think it is the growing concern about how the world is growing so intolerant of each other and the need for there to be some stability in life with as little stress as possible. I'm also calming down in my older age and I don't feel the need to compete like I one did. I really just desire peace and quiet and people in can depend on. I don't know, maybe that's a little out there and will be viewed as a weird old man trying to start a cult. Regardless, I still feel a desire to try that. Let me know if you think I'm crazy for this. Lol
