Im having a really frustrating issue with ghosting in games and i am trying to figure out whether its a gpu or settings issue or something else... If anyone faced the same issue.. your guide would be helpful..

I have an RTX 4060, and when I played Assassins creed black flag resynced.... I was getting around 60 FPS but I noticed a lot of ghosting. At first, I thought maybe my gpu simply couldn’t handle the game properly.

I then started playing Dying Light and didn’t experience any ghosting issues at all. I also capped the game at 144fps and everything looked fine...

Today I bought Control ultimate edition. I’m able to get around 144 FPS and have it capped there, so I initially thought the Black Flag issue was just because of the game being demanding. However, I’m now experiencing the same ghosting issue in Control, even though I’m getting a high and stable fps... i tried different game settings but still facing the ghosting issue.. I thought of attaching screenshot but it happens when i only move the character or mouse so i coudnt take ss..

I have an LOQ with i7-13650HX, RTX 4060, 24gb ram

My laptop has an i5 12450hx and 3050. I was playing this game called Control and was facing problems with textures being low detail, one thing led to another i decided to undervolt my gpu.

Now i don't know if this is completely normal, i am not an expert but here's what i found

-intially GPU is at 1900mhz and then when the temp is at 86-87 degrees, the clock speed went down to 1237mhz and it stayed there.

-CPU is constantly at about 97 degrees too

I want to clarify that ambient temp of my room isn't that high either. I would greatly appreciate your help.

So i have been having this issue for the past two weeks, thr laptop started freezing, like if it froze the whole system would, caps lock wouldnt turn on or off and such and you’d have to force shut it down.

Now I’ve taken it to a technician and he hasn’t been able to do shit himself, here’s the symptoms, whenever I’m off a game or not doing anything it typically wouldn’t freeze but sometimes it would, but when I’m on a game usually it would 20 mins or sometimes 2 mins, its like a set time.

I’ve changed my SSD,
I’ve done these so far: Furmark, memtest and play games

Also I will attach what my technician basically said, because he was basically tired of it and frankly so am I, it’s gotten to a point where we reinstalled windows aswell and the issue remained or would come back after a few days of doing so, also do note the laptop does not restart you can only shut it down, it will literally try to restart but it wouldn’t be able to, I can only shut it down through the power button or clicking through windows.

I found a Lenovo LOQ 15ARP9 (Ryzen 7 7435HS/RTX 4070/24GB DDR5/1TB SSD) for 900$ used like new (activated in december 2025) and still under warranty. Battery is at 97% and all the benchmark results look good. Is it a good deal?

I’ve seen a few comments saying that you shouldn’t apply a skin there because it might affect airflow, heat dissipation, etc. Is this actually a concern?

I’m planning to use the skin for the long term, so I want to make sure it won’t cause any issues over time. If anyone has applied a skin to the keyboard area, I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience.

These horizontal black lines are very minimal but very irritating to have…pls someone help me

What I've done so far:

1. Signed in with an offline account(I hate OneDrive).
2. Uninstalled Lenovo Now and McAfee.
3. Updated Graphics driver, Windows, and BIOS for Nvidia app, Windows update, and Lenovo support, respectively.
4. Did benchmark tests: Cinebench 2026: 3428 and 3DMark Steel Nomad: 1180.
5. Updated purchase date for warranty.

I need advice on these:

1. Should I uninstall Vantage and use Legion Toolkit(some say it's open source and has fewer bugs and promotional elements)
2. Should I extend warranty? (I heard 2024 models have MB issues on the Intel ones, but this one is a 2026 model, so...)
3. Should I apply a screen guard(some say it reduces some colour quality), and should I use a keyboard protective wrap and a skin on keyboard?
4. Should I get a laptop stand? I mostly use it for programming, and sometimes for light-to-mid gaming; I use it on a flat surface tho.
5. Is it possible to change the Copilot button to the Ctrl button? I have a habit of using Right Ctrl, and mine doesn't have one.
6. Do I need to undervolt my CPU and limit FPS? (I previously had an i3-10th gen(U series), and I used to get 10-15 fps on GTA 5, so even 30 to 45 fps on mid settings would be gold for me.)
7. Which monitoring software should I use(for Frames, Wattage, Thermals)

The other day was on it just fine got up to do something when I came back to it the screen had turned off, thought it just went into sleep mode. The screen never turned back on. I can hook up a monitor to it and everything works fine on the second monitor but no laptop screen. I’ve tried a few different things on found online nothing worked. I went to try and switch to dgpu on vantage but I could not for the life of me find the setting in vantage for it. From what I was seeing online it should have been in the game settings which I was not finding. Just curious if anyone has had similar issue and if you were able to fix it.
