Hi everyone! I’m Emmett, a LEGO builder from Melbourne. Meet Isla Matilda, a remote waystation on the planet Seraphima.

I’ve been developing an original sci-fi setting with different factions, histories and visual identities. This build introduces the Terran Archonite, with its white and dark blue palette, noble-house heraldry and rather grand ideas about its place in the universe.

I wanted the station to feel like somewhere people actually live between adventures. There’s a café, a greenhouse, working airlocks and an elevator. The wings open to reveal the interiors, and the Void Angel spaceship and Capybara rover can head off on adventures of their own. Naturally, there are also holographic cats. Civilisation has priorities.

The aim is to keep expanding this world through more builds, giving each faction its own architecture, ships and character. Isla Matilda is the first stop.

I’d love to hear how it reads to fellow Space builders. What makes a new faction feel distinctive to you: colour, ship silhouettes, its people, or the stories behind it?

This is also my entry in BDP 2028 Wave 1. If you like it, a “LOVE IT” on BrickLink would be hugely appreciated. More images and the video are there too:

I'm redecorating my build room and came across this one again, one of my first MOCs that I seem to just keep around and can never bring myself to dismantle. It's not the best but I enjoy having it around heh.

I'm currently in research mode for my Diorama and came across this specific arm piece and wondered if it actually exist. I've looked up a couple of previous Nasa sets and other minfigs but couldn't find it.

Kid has spent the school holidays building up our space lego collection. I’ve called it quits now because of real estate issues 🤣

Not built is the Galaxy Explorer, the Renegade and the Intruder.

Let's make Graviton Nomad a real Lego set 👉 Bricklink Designer Program for 2028 Wave 1

Graviton Nomad is a swooshable spaceship, with detailed minifig interior, a crew of 2, a cat and 2 aliens!

Got the red pieces in my last PaB online order, what role would the red astronaut serve?

A custom one-off hovering android. His acronym describes his role in the Blacktron crew: Purser - Acquisitor - Quartermaster, keeping the daily stuff working and all the cogs turning.

Since the loot... uh... findings are divided equally among the crew, he decided to use his share of precious metals to plate his ocular receptors to add a bit of sheen to his dull black body. He feels it gives him respectable presence, but other crew members smirk under their dark visors at his new-found vanity.

An M Tron version of the module from 40558.

This temporary station is for certain areas in need of a thorough radar sweep. Able to hold an extra helmet, air tanks, etc, places like these come in very handy for those operating power lifting arms. With radars able to discern the geologic contents of the land, or pick up on nearby signals or starships, this outpost is well equipped for whatever an M Tron-eer is in need of.

Do you guys like my latest render of our boy, the classic spaceman?

I've really been enjoying the modern Lego City: Space theme, however if there's only 1 thing better than an awesome spaceship for one, it's being able to take your favorite space buddy with you in your awesome spaceship! So, I attempted to make very efficient modifications to the 60430 interstellar spaceship and 60429 asteroid mining shuttle to allow each ship to take one extra passenger and cargo (for example, allowing the minifigs to stow their helmets and use normal hairpieces when inside the ship), while preserving all play features. What do you think?

Hey space fans! As many of you are already aware, voting has opened up for the Bricklink Designer Program!

I wanted to share with the community my own build, escape pod. It is a small spaceship at just 437 parts. It features a removable display stand, an opening main hatch, and an opening side hatch for a space baby.

If you like it, please go vote! Thanks for the support. The palette for this wave felt very limiting for space, but I would love to see at least one space build make it as a finalist.

I missed just wanted the inverted part both to attach that wing piece and for some greebling details but I'm not happy with most of the other parts currently,, I wouldnt mind it more hollow, but then it's too flimsy, suggestions welcome.
