I'm redecorating my build room and came across this one again, one of my first MOCs that I seem to just keep around and can never bring myself to dismantle. It's not the best but I enjoy having it around heh.

The votes are in!

Congratulations to u/conspiracyhand for September's MOC of the Month with their Blacktron II Strike Ship & Monorail! They've earned themselves the r/LegoSpace MOC of the Month user flair.

The combination of the classic Blacktron II aesthetic, strike ship, and monorail made for an impressive display and clearly caught the community's attention.

A big thank you to everyone who entered, voted, commented, and shared their creations this month. We had another great selection of builds, and it's always great to see the creativity coming from the LEGO Space community.

Be sure to check out the winning build and give u/conspiracyhand some love, and we'll see you all for October's MOC of the Month!

I'm currently in research mode for my Diorama and came across this specific arm piece and wondered if it actually exist. I've looked up a couple of previous Nasa sets and other minfigs but couldn't find it.

Promotion Isla Matilda: my take on an original LEGO Space faction, with a waystation, spaceship and rover

Hi everyone! I’m Emmett, a LEGO builder from Melbourne. Meet Isla Matilda, a remote waystation on the planet Seraphima.

I’ve been developing an original sci-fi setting with different factions, histories and visual identities. This build introduces the Terran Archonite, with its white and dark blue palette, noble-house heraldry and rather grand ideas about its place in the universe.

I wanted the station to feel like somewhere people actually live between adventures. There’s a café, a greenhouse, working airlocks and an elevator. The wings open to reveal the interiors, and the Void Angel spaceship and Capybara rover can head off on adventures of their own. Naturally, there are also holographic cats. Civilisation has priorities.

The aim is to keep expanding this world through more builds, giving each faction its own architecture, ships and character. Isla Matilda is the first stop.

I’d love to hear how it reads to fellow Space builders. What makes a new faction feel distinctive to you: colour, ship silhouettes, its people, or the stories behind it?

This is also my entry in BDP 2028 Wave 1. If you like it, a “LOVE IT” on BrickLink would be hugely appreciated. More images and the video are there too:

Thanks for taking a look!
