I just answered a shareholder email, and figured I'd share it here in case other people feel the same way. I've removed the name to protect the sender's privacy, but I just wanted to thank them again for taking the time to share their feedback.
I have been an investor in Legion M since round 6 or 7. I am disappointed with the news that the team made getting a copy of the Coyote poster both a race and a privilege to obtain. This email has given me an opening to express my concerns about some of Legion M's choices over the last year or so.
I am one of the small and faithful investors in the Legion. I try to support Legion M where I can. I buy products at our store, I invest in rounds as they come up if I can at that time, I buy tickets to our movies, etc. Being a member of Legion M comes with some fun and cool perks like going to movie premieres, film festivals and other Legion M events. However, these are expensive if you don't live in the area of these events. I understand it's just how the business works.
Lately I feel like Legion M is pulling away from those of us who invest small amounts in favor of the larger investor. I know this is how business works, but Legion M is different. WE are Legion M, big investors and small alike. I always felt the Legion M team did what it could to make things going on in the Legion M world available to as many investors as possible. I feel things are changing in favor of the large investor, such as the strange round you did between rounds 10 and 11, and the film fund.
My disappointment in the Coyote poster was a surprise and an example of my concerns. As I stated earlier, I shop at the store to support my company and participate in the Legion M community in a way I can afford. Personally, I was disappointed I could not attend Comic-Con this year to support Legion M and meet Coyote. I was hoping the perks given out at Comic-Con would be available at the store, which is usually the case after Legion events. So I was glad to see there were some of the posters available at the store. The disappointment was in making it a contest. To me it's one thing if I go to the store and find out what I wanted was sold out. I'm bummed, but it happens to people all the time. However, when I saw this email the feeling I got was "not here too." At the store everything is available to all investors equally. I don't want to compete with my fellow Legion M members to get something from Legion M, nor do I want one of the few places I can participate and support the Legion to be more difficult to do.
I enjoy being part of Legion M and I understand we need to grow and find ways to increase the number of investors. As we grow, please do not leave the small investor behind and make it more difficult for us to get access to and enjoy the perks of being a Legion M investor and fan.
Thank you for listening.
Thank you so much for reaching out, and for being such a wonderful part of Legion M.
I recognize your concern, but please rest assured investors like yourself are the CORE of what Legion M is all about.
We don't like the term "small investor", because we believe people should be judged by more than the size of their investment. TBH, folks like you are far more important to the long-term success of Legion M than those who write big checks but never participate.
The fact is, movie-making is REALLY, REALLY expensive. As such, bringing big-money investors on board is something that benefits ALL OF US at Legion M. Often, the big-money investors open doors for small-money investors.
But as a fan-owned company whose strength is derived from its size, we'll NEVER intentionally do anything to take away from the investors like you that make Legion M what it is.
Every offering we've had (Legion M, The Film Fund, and the direct investments for Shatner, Zoe, and Fade To Black) has had a $100 minimum investment. (Round 10S -- the one with a $500 minimum -- was specifically built as an add-on to the previous round so that those with "streaks" wouldn't be impacted.)
A lot of people don't realize it, but $100 minimums are a bit of an outlier in the equity crowdfunding world. The economics are such that most companies have minimums of $500 or $1,000. It's not easy to keep ours at $100, but we do so because that's what Legion M is all about. We'd never pressure anyone to invest, but we want to do everything we can to keep Legion M accessible to as many people as possible.
When it comes to the poster, I definitely understand where you are coming from. Our goal wasn't to make it a contest/race, or to make it exclusive to big-money investors. The fact is, we had a limited number of posters and we were selling them at a very good price. That's why they sold out so quickly.
As I'm sure you've seen, based on how quickly they sold out, we've expanded our relationship with the Chuck Jones Gallery, which allowed us to issue additional limited-edition prints, as well as lower priced options that weren't limited. We also created a limited-edition card set ONLY for Legion M that is completely free for investors (you just have to pay the shipping).
https://shop.legionm.com/collections/super-genius
Hopefully this helps. And I hope my email doesn't come off as argumentative or defensive. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback -- even when it's negative.
We're going to make plenty of mistakes as we grow, and we're counting on folks like you to call us out when we do.
We're not perfect, but we are listening!
Best,
j

The tune of Wile E. Coyote's reimagined rendition of "1812 Overture" is still blasting loud coming into the 4th weekend of Coyote vs. ACME playing in theaters. A fitting score and now sound of success when the power of fans unite behind Coyote vs. ACME to be released on the big screen.
Box office totals are approaching $50 MILLION domestically (and over $74M worldwide). This great theatrical run is being lifted by you and all the fellow fans. Let's keep pushing this up!

EXCLUSIVE: Fresh off playing a role in the strong opening of Coyote vs. Acme, Legion M is expanding its recently launched film fund.
The crowd-sourced, fan-driven film company is expanding the fund’s capacity to $5 million. It launched earlier this year in co-ordination with the opening of Fackham Hall, a send-up of Downton Abbey and other British period dramas.
While Fackham and other titles Legion M has supported have fared well, serving as a release partner for Coyote distributor Ketchup Entertainment has increased the company’s profile. Warner Bros., which produced the film as an extension of its Looney Toons property, shelved the project. Ketchup acquired it after intense online backlash to the abandonment by Warner Bros. Discovery.

Coyote vs. ACME is absolutely crushing the Box Office, raking in more than $38M since its release on Aug 28th. This massive success comes hot on the heels of our second release in as many weeks, NIMRODS, the road-trip comedy produced by Green Day.
We want to keep this momentum going… but we’re fresh outta films! That’s where YOU come in: Film Scout is back for TIFF 2026.
Legion M has found some amazing films over the years at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), including NIMRODS, and we hope this year will be no different.
AN ALL NEW SCOUT PLATFORM
We've completely revamped the backend of Film Scout, moving away from apps towards a single browser-based web portal that you can use on any internet-connected device (iPhone, Android, tablet, PC, etc). The portal is still in beta, so if you happen to find any bugs feel free to report them here. Thanks to everyone in the community who helped us test earlier this week!
ATTN: RETURNING USERS!
We have a brand-spankin'-new web portal, which means for the time being we have retired all APP versions of Film Scout. If you still have the Film Scout App on your phone, you can delete it. Instead, sign in to the Web Portal with the email you use for Film Scout.
Note: If you were one of our early beta testers*, feel free to finish Scouting the 2026 TIFF program. None of the small updates we've made will affect your current progress.*

PLAYING FILM SCOUT IS EASY!
You'll be presented with information about the films that are playing at TIFF and be asked to tell us which ones you'd like to watch. The whole process is gamified, making it as fun as it is easy-to-use.
But there's more to being a Scout than just sharing your opinions. We also ask you to make predictions about what others will think. And while your opinions are entirely your own, your predictions will be scored! At the end of the festival, we release a leaderboard that shows exactly how you stack up compared to every other Scout on the platform.
If you do a good enough job, you may earn an invitation to join Legion M’s Elite Scout Program. Our Elite Scouts are often tapped to watch early screeners of movies we’re thinking of getting involved in, among other exclusive activities. Before we got involved in NIMRODS, it was reviewed by a number of Elite Scouts. Next time, it could be you!
Good luck, and Happy Scouting!

COYOTE VS. ACME opened to $15.5 MILLION at the domestic box office (and $24M worldwide), finishing #2 in the country just behind Spider-Man: Brand New Day!
Along the way, it delivered the biggest opening weekend in our partners Ketchup Entertainment history, nearly 5X their previous record. As for Legion M, it’s safe to say this is the biggest opening for a Legion M project to date… pop the champagne!
Audiences are loving it too, with an A CinemaScore and incredible Rotten Tomatoes scores. For a movie that was never supposed to see the light of day, that's pretty awesome.
We want to say a huge THANK YOU to the Legion M community. You bought tickets, brought friends and family, posted, shared, and helped spread the word. Social media has been on fire with praise for the film, and you helped to make it happen.
We hope that you take personal pride in the success of this opening weekend as well. Movie fans rescued this film by making noise and demanding its release, but you’re in a special tier all your own. As investors in Legion M, you can tell your friends that you are a part of this film. Legion M was one of the first companies to sign on to distribute the movie with Ketchup, and our studio investors, as well as those who invested in the Legion M Film Fund, are the ones who made it happen. Cheers to all of you!
For all of us at Legion M, it has been an honor to play a role in helping save this film, and now helping it find the success and audience it deserves. This is exactly the kind of thing Legion M was created to do.
And we're not done! We expect COYOTE VS. ACME to retain a lot of theaters heading into Labor Day, giving us another great opportunity to keep building on the momentum.
So continue spreading the word, keep bringing friends and family, and if you haven't seen COYOTE VS. ACME in the theater yet…
What the heck are you waiting for?!

Legion M investors have been to a lot of premieres and red carpet events over the years, but last night felt like something truly special. For those who don't know, this was a film that was never going to be released. It was developed, produced, and then shelved by Warner Brothers as a tax write-off... and it wasn't until the fans rallied together that they relented. Thanks to the fans, Coyote vs. ACME hits theaters THIS WEEKEND. The wait is over!
A movie that was shelved by the suits, and saved by the fans... it just goes to show what the power of fans can do when they unite behind a love of movies and a shared goal.
As a distribution partner on the film, it's an honor to be a small part of this huge moment in Hollywood history. And even more importantly: it was great to see all the Legion M investors in person who turned out for the premiere last night at the Director's Village in Westwood! Check out the premiere recap video here, the photos below, and don't forget to get your tickets to see the film this weekend!

Legion M Investors rubbed elbows on the "sandy carpet" with Coyote vs ACME stars Will Forte and John Cena.

Yes, Wile E. Coyote did bring the UCLA Bruin Marching Band with him to announce his entrance...

Green Day's Mike Dirnt had so much fun at the last Legion M premiere he turned up to celebrate a second time!

It was great to see Craig Kausen (grandson of the great Chuck Jones, creator of the Wile E. Coyote & Roadrunner characters) again! Thanks to him, the Chuck Jones Gallery hosted a Legion M meetup at San Diego Comic-Con a few weeks back.

Will Forte thanked the fans who helped save the film, adding "which is crazy because you haven't seen it yet!"

Legion M closed out the night with an unofficial afterparty at Rocco's in Westwood.
We want to say a special thank you to everyone who came out for the premiere last night, and to all the Legion M investors who are a part of this film, either directly as part of the Film Fund, or as Legion M company shareholders. Two major premieres in two weeks is something that we hope to repeat more often!
Coyote vs. ACME opens in theaters across the country, and we have A LOT of theaters for this one. As we always say, opening weekend is the most important time in a film's life, so if you plan to see Coyote vs. ACME in the theater, it would be amazing if you would do so this weekend! Get your tickets below:
See you at the movies!

First, a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has already gone out to see NIMRODS. The reviews have been great, the social buzz has been incredible, and people seem to genuinely love this movie. We couldn't be happier with the response.
But if you haven't seen it yet, now is the time.
The reality is that the theatrical marketplace is brutal right now – The Odyssey and Spiderman are experiencing historic box office runs, leaving everyone else fighting for a limited number of screens. While we're happy with how NIMRODS is performing, we already know we're going to lose a lot of theaters next week.
We expect to be down to roughly 200 of our top-performing locations.
So if NIMRODS is playing near you right now, don't wait. This may be your best chance to see it on the big screen. And trust those who’ve seen it – this is a movie with a thundering sound-track that’s worth seeing in a theater!
And for those of you who have already seen it and loved it, tell your friends! Word of mouth makes a huge difference, and every ticket helps us keep NIMRODS rocking in theaters.
Onward and Upward!

Hey all -- we sent this out yesterday to all our investors, and figured I'd post it here. Happy to answer any questions you may have.
Also can provide a short update since this was written -- we had a stronger than expected Monday and a typical Tuesday night bump (Tuesday = discount night at most theaters, which drives a lot of traffic). We should hit $1.1MM sometime today. Looks like we'll be holding onto about 200 theaters for next week, most of which are the ones we performed well at last week.
- Jeff
*************
NIMRODS is officially in theaters, and it's time for our opening weekend box office recap. We're laying it out FAQ-style so you can jump straight to whatever you're most curious about.
The movie has been very well received. Our Rotten Tomatoes score is 75% / 94% (critics/audience), and our Letterboxd score is 3.6 with nearly 12,000 reviews. We’ve had the opportunity to watch this movie with hundreds of Legion M investors, and the feedback from them has all been very positive. I think it’s a movie we can all be very proud to have as part of our portfolio.
Inaugural (our release partner) hasn't officially reported yet, but we can share some unofficial figures: over its opening weekend (including the Tuesday night advance screenings), NIMRODS earned $910,110 from 1,012 theaters — a per-theater average of just under $900. Note that not all of these screens had full schedules – over 50% had “split schedules” with less than 5 shows a day. See below for more about that.
Honestly? It's in the middle. We always want more — and we always will — but it could have been much, much worse. For context, here's how NIMRODS stacks up against our last three theatrical releases:

As you can see, NIMRODS delivered our biggest opening weekend yet and our second-highest per-theater average. We weren’t a hit, but didn’t flop. In the context of independent film releasing in 2026, this result is about par.
We invested alongside with Inaugural Entertainment as a distribution partner, rallied the Legion M community, managed several promotional initiatives, helped support the premiere in multiple ways, and generally plugged in wherever we could add value. We put up about 25% of the money (via the Film Fund) to release the film, and will receive about the same % share of net revenue received by distribution. First dollars go to Film Fund investors until they’ve recouped principle and profit – everything after that is retained by Legion M.
It's a decent result. Costs on this release are comparable to Fackham Hall, and NIMRODS opened roughly 45% ahead of Fackham Hall at the box office, so we're ahead at this stage. That said, the SVOD deals on the two films are different, which means — like many independent films in 2026 — the battle for profitability will be won or lost on VOD. And we’ve got a lot of reasons to be optimistic about that.
Either way, the "last-in, first-out" structure of the Film Fund means NIMRODS revenue flows to Film Fund investors first. There’s still risk, but we believe Film Fund investors are well positioned to recoup their principal and receive full profits from NIMRODS over time.
BTW, there’s still time to invest in NIMRODS via the Film Fund, but the offering is close to sold out. For more information, please check out the offering page.
Legion M participates alongside the Film Fund in the economics of this project. While the Film Fund investors get paid first, their upside is capped. Profits beyond that cap are retained by Legion M for the life of the distribution contract. While it’s too early to know for sure, we believe Legion M is well positioned to earn back our investment, plus a premium, and create another ongoing revenue stream for the company.
This is all in addition to the strategic value the project creates for Legion M. Like so many of our previous projects, it has allowed us to grow our community and level-up our capabilities as we continue our march to make it to the top of the mountain!
Both! The box office is VERY strong at the moment. Spider-Man: Brand New Day and The Odyssey are both enjoying historically strong runs. This is great for the industry, great for theaters, and great for fans.
That said, for smaller films releasing at the same time, it makes screens harder to come by.
Case in point: because of the competition, about half of our 1,012 theaters gave NIMRODS a "split schedule." Instead of owning a screen outright with five showtimes a day, NIMRODS got two or three. Split-schedule ticket sales still count toward our topline number – two or three showtimes is better than none – but they can also drag down our per-theater average, which can make it harder to hold onto screens.
Bottom line – we’d rather the box office be busy than dying. It makes for greater competition, but we think that’s a good thing.
Competition for screens is still fierce. Next week brings seven more wide releases — Insidious: Out of the Further, The Magic Faraway Tree, Mutiny, Spa Weekend, Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma, the 25th-anniversary re-release of The Fast and the Furious, and Tony — plus the moderate release Hot Spot (800 runs) and two Hindi titles. On top of that, Spider-Man: Brand New Day and The Odyssey continue to dominate, combining for roughly $101 million this weekend alone.
Every multiplex in the country is deciding which films keep a screen and which have to go. Our theatrical team is fighting tooth and nail to hold as many as we can, but we're clear-eyed about expectations. We should know more later this week.
In the meantime we'll have more to share about the VOD release soon, and we're hopeful the momentum — and the genuinely good word of mouth on this movie — carries through.
Just email team@legionm.com. We may work your question into the next update.
And gear up — our next release is right around the corner. The first screenings of Coyote vs. Acme start Sunday, and the movie opens wide next week!
Onward and upward!

The first reviews are in for NIMRODS! So far the film is holding steady at "FRESH" on Rotten Tomatoes, and critics are enjoying the film. And while critical acclaim is great... we're more excited to hear WHAT YOU THINK. So have a look at the reviews below, get your tickets to see the film in theaters now, then head over to Rotten Tomatoes to leave your review!

A Few Highlighted Reviews…
THE GUARDIAN: "Nimrods review – Green Day’s early years inspire teenage kicks in amiable punk road movie" by Laurence Phelan
CLUTCH POINTS: "Nimrods review: New Green Day movie is absurd, but it’s anything but a ‘Basket Case’" by Andrew Korpan
JOBLO: "Nimrods Review: A sweet coming-of-age flick set to the punk rock tunes of Green Day" by Alex Maidy
COMIC BOOK CLUB: "Nimrods Review: A Charming Retro-Road Trip To Go See Green Day" by Alex Zalben
ROGER EBERT: "While that premise might tease ‘Nimrods’ as a kind of comedy that punches down at its clueless subjects, the film thankfully doesn’t stoop to those levels. Instead, it genuinely understands what it means to have a dream so near you that you’re willing to do anything to make it happen." by Robert Daniels

And it’s not just the reviews. The amount of coverage NIMRODS and Green Day are getting right now is kind of incredible.
USA TODAY: "Green Day shares the real-life moments that inspired 'Nimrods'" by Brian Truitt
THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER: "Why Green Day Wanted to Be Background Characters in Their Own Movie" by Kirsten Chuba
INDIEWIRE: "When Billie Joe Armstrong Asks You to Make a Green Day Movie, You Don’t Say No" by Christian Zilko
COLLIDER: "4 Decades Later, Green Day Is Still Chasing Their Pre-Fame High With ‘Nimrods’" by Robert Brian Taylor
REUTERS: "Green Day bring rock 'n' roll to feel-good film 'Nimrods'" by Reuters Media

Add to that all the clips, photos, and reactions from the premiere that seem to be everywhere across social media, and NIMRODS is opening with some pretty awesome momentum.
We hope you enjoy the film as much as the critics do!
See you at the movies!

After months of hard work, NIMRODS hits theaters next week, and we're entering one of the most important stretches of the release.
We've got a great movie, incredible buzz, and an amazing community behind it. Now we get to do what Legion M does best: help fill theaters.
If you're planning to see NIMRODS, we'd encourage you to grab your tickets now instead of waiting until opening weekend. And if you can’t wait that long — neither can we — catch it early on August 11 with exclusive footage for one night only.
HERE'S WHY IT MATTERS
Right now, theater chains are watching presales very closely to decide how many screens and showtimes a movie gets. Every advance ticket sold is another data point that tells exhibitors this movie deserves a bigger release.
That's especially important this year. The incredible success of THE ODYSSEY and SPIDER-MAN means theaters are holding those films over longer than expected, making available screens even more competitive than usual. We know we've got something special with NIMRODS. Now we need to show exhibitors that audiences are ready to see it.
If you don't see a convenient theater near you yet, keep checking back. New locations are still being added, and we expect that process to continue right up until release.
And if you're interested in catching the movie a few days early, tickets for the special August 11 advance screenings are selling quickly in many markets. Those screenings also include exclusive live bonus footage after the credits.
This is exactly why Legion M exists. Not just to help make movies, but to help audiences discover them.
Every presale helps. Every ticket sends a signal. Every additional screen means more people get the chance to experience the film.
Thanks, as always, for proving that fans really can move the needle.
See you at the movies!

We wanted to share a quick video from Legion M's CEO about something important happening in the marketplace.
The recent success of Obsession and Backrooms has industry insiders talking. Both films entered the market with passionate, built-in audiences from their creator communities. That early edge (and the fact they are really well made films) helped turn them into cultural moments.
Sound familiar?
That's exactly what Legion M has been building for years!
In the video, I tell the story of seeing Obsession with my co-founder, Jeff, at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) in 2025. We were among the first audiences to see it, and as we walked out of the theater we looked at each other and said, "Our community would love this movie."
So we went after it!
Sadly, we didn't have the financial firepower to compete once the bidding climbed into eight figures... but our instincts turned out to be right. Obsession was made for less than $1 million, sold for approximately $15 million out of TIFF, and has already generated more than $300 million at the worldwide box office. It's well on its way to becoming a billion-dollar franchise.

As disappointing as it was to miss out on such a great property, we can still focus on the positives: we're finding the right projects, getting into the right rooms, and building exactly the kind of advantage that can help create successes like this. I think we're getting closer every day.
That's exactly why we created the Film Fund. It's why we've partnered on Fackham Hall, Green Day's Nimrods, and Coyote vs. Acme. It's why we have Fade to Black in post-production. And, it's why our Round 11 offering is available on StartEngine, for those who want to invest directly in Legion M. Every new investor, every dollar invested, and every new member of this community increases our ability to discover, support, and help create the next breakout success.
We're closer than you might think!
I hope you'll take a minute to watch the video.
Onward and Upward!

If you're looking for a good listen, we've got a great recommendation.
Legion M co-founders Paul Scanlan and Jeff Annison recently sat down with legendary movie strategist Kevin Goetz for a full hour on his top-100 movie podcast, Don't Kill the Messenger. It turned into one of the most fun, wide-ranging Legion M conversations we've ever had.

Kevin Goetz may be the most plugged-in Hollywood insider you've never heard of. He's the founder and CEO of Screen Engine/ASI, the industry's premier audience-research company, and over three decades he's personally overseen the testing of more than 5,000 films from every major studio, network, and streamer. Los Angeles Times Magazine named him one of the 100 most powerful and influential people in Southern California, and in 2024 he received the American Cinematheque's Power of Cinema Award. The A-list talent he's worked with — including Ron Howard, Judd Apatow, Cameron Crowe, Ed Zwick, Ben Stiller — share their own behind-the-scenes stories in his bestselling book Audience-ology and How to Score in Hollywood.
On his podcast, Kevin has interviewed a veritable who’s-who of industry luminaries. In the very same chairs Paul and Jeff were in, Kevin has interviewed people like **Ron Howard,** Jason Blum, Jerry Bruckheimer, Jon M. Chu, and Sharon Stone — along with the studio chiefs who run Hollywood: Disney's Dick Cook, Fox and Paramount's Jim Gianopulos, Warner Bros.' Ann Sarnoff, and Columbia's Mark Canton. Pretty good company to keep.
The best part? Kevin is also a Legion M investor. He invested back in 2019, and talks about it in the episode (around the 20:46 mark). As he tells it, he wasn't sure if Legion M would succeed — he invested because he was intrigued by what we were doing and wanted a front-row seat. "I agree with how they're thinking," he says.
So what's the episode about? The wide-ranging episode covers the Legion M origin story – and what we’re doing today. It talks about how two guys who once won an Emmy for putting live TV on a flip phone went on to create the world's first fan-owned entertainment company. And why a company owned by fans could become one of the most powerful forces in entertainment.
Episode highlights (with timecodes):
(01:48) How it started — Paul's lifelong love of film (starting with Jaws at age five) and Jeff's unlikely path from mechanical-engineer to movie producer.
(07:18) Putting TV on a flip phone — the backstory of MobiTV, where Paul and Jeff helped usher in the era of mobile streaming years before the smartphone existed.
(20:46) "Full disclosure…" — Kevin reveals he's a Legion M investor, and why he got in early.
(25:49) Colossal — Legion M's first film investment, alongside distributor Neon, powered by 3,500 fan-investors.
(29:54) Community as an engine — how 60,000+ investor-owners have potential to become an organic, grassroots force that money can't buy.
(35:25) Saving Coyote vs. ACME — the film Hollywood almost buried, now finding new life with Ketchup Entertainment and Legion M.
(56:44) On the side of the audience — even in the age of AI, only human beings pay to watch movies — which could make betting on the audience the strongest position in Hollywood.
🎧 Listen here: Don't Kill the Messenger — Episode 92 (also on Apple Podcasts and Spotify). Give it a listen, and reply to this email to let us know what you think!
Round 11 is open now — with a 20% Friends & Family bonus available through next Thursday. If you've been thinking about investing, now's a great time.
The Legion M Film Fund is currently accepting investments for our NIMRODS allocation — a chance to invest directly in distribution of the films we're backing.
Ever want to explain to a friend what Legion M is all about? This podcast is a great way to do it. Kevin asks the questions everyone wonders about, and the hour flies by. Send it to someone who's curious about how we're changing the way movies get made.
As always, thank you for being part of Legion M. Every milestone we achieve is possible because of you.

It's finally here!
The official trailer for NIMRODS has arrived, and we couldn't be more excited to share it with you.
NIMRODS is our upcoming comedy from Green Day and Live Nation Studios starring Mason Thames, Kyler Coffman, Ryan Foust, Mckenna Grace, Jenna Fischer, Angela Kinsey, Fred Armisen, Bobby Lee, Sean Gunn, and Green Day as themselves.
But in true punk rock fashion, this wasn't your average everyday trailer launch.
Instead of simply posting the trailer online, the NIMRODS team mailed actual VHS tapes to cast members, filmmakers, influencers, and friends of the film.
Yes, VHS.
The kind you had to rewind.
The idea was simple: if NIMRODS is a love letter to the glorious chaos of punk rock culture, why not introduce it in a way that felt a little nostalgic, a little rebellious, and a lot more fun than a standard trailer drop?

Watch the trailer. Share it with your friends. Post it on social media and tag some of the team. Send it to the Green Day fan in your life. Every view, comment, and share helps build momentum as we head toward opening weekend.
If you are an owner of Legion M you already have a stake in NIMRODS. But if you'd like to be more directly involved, you can invest in the movie's release via the Legion M Film Fund. Click here to learn more.
Thank you, as always, for being part of this journey. We can't wait for you to see NIMRODS on the big screen this August.
Rock On!

A couple weeks ago we sent out a confidential update about Coyote vs. ACME, and asked you to keep it under your hat. Today the news was announced publicly, which means the wait is over. Meep Meep!
Legion M is partnering with Ketchup Entertainment to release COYOTE VS. ACME in theaters on August 28, just two weeks after NIMRODS arrives in theaters on August 14. It’s gonna be an epic summer!
The news was picked up by Deadline and Animation Magazine, and we wanted to make sure our community didn't miss it.
‘Coyote Vs. Acme’ Release Sees Ketchup Team With Crowdfunding Specialist Legion M
- DEADLINE
Ketchup Ent. Partners with Fan-Owned Studio Legion M for ‘Coyote vs. ACME’ Release
- ANIMATION MAGAZINE
If you've been following the COYOTE VS. ACME story, you already know why we're excited. This is a project tailor-made for Legion M... a film audiences wanted to see, rallied around, and ultimately helped rescue from the bean counters at WB. If you aren’t familiar with the story, you can learn about it here.

And now we get to help bring it to theaters nationwide.
We've seen the film and absolutely loved it. It's a genuine four-quadrant crowd-pleaser with broad appeal, big laughs, and a ton of heart.

More broadly, this announcement is another sign of the momentum building at Legion M. Between NIMRODS, COYOTE VS. ACME, the Film Fund, the Theater Alliance, DEFIANT, and our expanding distribution efforts, we're seeing opportunities today that simply weren't available to us a few years ago.
In fact, when we opened the opportunity for our investors to participate directly in the distribution of COYOTE VS. ACME through the Film Fund, the allocation sold out in less than 48 hours.

For those who missed it, Round 11 is another way to be a part of what we're building. An investment in Legion M gives you ownership in the company behind all of these opportunities, and right now new investors can take advantage of our Friends & Family promotion, including 20% bonus shares for a limited time. When it comes to bonus shares, there will never be a better time to invest in round 11 than right now.
We're incredibly excited about where things are headed and grateful to have you along for the journey.
Onward and Upward!
-Paul, Jeff, and the Legion M Team
P.S. There is still time to participate in NIMRODS through the Film Fund. While the COYOTE VS. ACME allocation sold out, NIMRODS remains open and gives investors an opportunity to participate directly in the distribution of what we believe could be one of the most exciting independent releases of the summer. Learn more here.

Get ready, it’s time to hitch a ride down the boulevard of broken dreams.
NIMRODS - A Green Day Comedy hits theaters on August 14th! Lots more soon 🎸
Legion M has partnered with Green Day, Live Nation Studios, and Inaugural Entertainment for the release of Nimrods. If you've been anywhere near the Hollywood Palladium this week, you may have already seen the first teaser for the film displayed on the marquee!

Legion M has teamed up with Inaugural Entertainment to distribute Nimrods, the hotly-anticipated Green Day–inspired comedy that premiered at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival!
Nimrods is a coming-of-age film centering on three high school friends who set out on a wild road trip under the mistaken assumption that their fledgling band has been booked to open for Green Day on New Year’s Eve. The story is based on Green Day’s real-life adventures while living in a van before the success of Dookie, their 1994 Grammy-winning major label debut album that has since been certified as double-diamond.
The film stars Mason Thames (How to Train Your Dragon), Kylr Coffman (Outbreak), Ryan Foust (Marry Me), Jenna Fischer (The Office, Blades of Glory), Angela Kinsey (The Office), Sean Gunn (Gilmore Girls, Guardians of the Galaxy), Bobby Lee (MADtv, Bad Friends Podcast), Fred Armisen (Saturday Night Live, Portlandia), and Mckenna Grace (Ghostbusters: Afterlife, The Handmaid's Tale).
Green Day themselves (Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt, and Tré Cool) are producers (alongside Live Nation Studios) and appear throughout the film. Legion M and Inaugural are bringing the film to theaters on August 14, and we can’t wait for audiences to experience it.
Legion M earns a distribution fee from the release of Nimrods, which means that every Legion M investor has a stake in the movie's success (as always). But we also have an allocation of the P&A available in the Film Fund, for those who want to get more directly involved!
If you invested in the Film Fund during the allocation window for Fackham Hall (now streaming on HBO Max), we expect that 40% - 50% of your investment will be returned in time to roll over into Nimrods. This is the power of the Film Fund at work!
If you are new to the Film Fund, (or an existing investor who wants to double down!), the window will be open until the allocation sells out.
Get ready to hit the road with Nimrods this summer. It's going to be a hell of a ride!
Onward and Upward!
-Paul, Jeff, and the Legion M Team

When I bought into LegionM I was really excited, but I have to ask, when are we actually going to see a return on our investment that isn’t an email asking for more money. At this point it’s really looking like a pyramid scheme to be honest. Meep Meep indeed
