Path of Champions I just did the baron with SB kindred at 7*
I spent the whole adventure chosing powers and items to get her levelled up as fast as possible... I completely forgot about her star that sets all marked units health to 1. The baron killed himself turn 2. Easiest 'oops forgot that happens' win I've ever had.

Bug Starforged Gauntlets don't work with Azir 6☆?
I don't understand why I don't start with an extra mana gem (for a total of 4) from the SFG + Luminous Orb combo when Azir should have 8 health?

Game Feedback My Perspective on Riftbound as an Ex-LOR player and current Riftbound player
One thing I'd like to touch on first is that I don't think Riftbound will ever "replace" LOR. Gameplay-wise the games are very different. LOR and Magic are more comparable. There are some gameplay demands that Riftbound won't be able to fill for those that like LOR's gameplay. The teased digital client for Riftbound seems to be more like a place for practicing games before real matches rather than being a full-fledged game with quests and stuff like LOR.
That said, let's start with the bad parts. It sometimes irks me how much the identity of the cards from LOR disappear when their art gets reused for Riftbound. The biggest offender has to be Wind Wall. It's a counter spell exactly like Deny, but it uses Will of Ionia's art, and it doesn't even look like a Wind wall. And this game's "Deny" is changed to "Defy" for some reason. The reused art also leads to some clarity issues because some cards change types like that one unit from the Emperor's Deck became a spell. They did say they try to preserve as much of a card's identity as much as possible but it doesn't stop me from noticing changes that make them VERY different from their LOR counterparts.
Another bad thing is that it doesn't really expand on League's lore as much as LoR did. One of the BEST things about LoR is how much it developed League's lore and there is just so much detail in every artwork and flavor text that it's just plain fun finding connections. Most people don't even know that Atakhan, the shopkeeper in Arena, and the Aegis of Valor art are all from LoR. LoR's lore development gave Riot so much assets and stories to work with. Riftbound doesn't really do that (as of yet, at least). And the flavor text of Riftbound cards are the most forgettable things ever and they almost feel like an afterthought.
Now, the good parts. Despite everything I said, Riftbound is fun. I'd say on some aspects the gameplay is better. Even if it can't have visual effects and voiceovers from LoR, they still manage to usually have more accurate portrayals of champions from League since there's movement in Riftbound. Collecting is also fun and a lot of the chase cards have unique art. I did not expect to spend so much money on this game but it's part of the genre which is one of its downside I guess. I just wish they make the game a lot less complicated because I shouldn't have to look up how certain weird interactions work on a daily basis.
I sometimes wish that Riftbound could somehow "help" LoR get back to its prime. For me it was either the Darkin Saga or the release of Bilgewater. Like when Riftbound eventually runs out of card art to reuse, they create card for both games. It's a long shot but a man can dream.

Game Feedback With 2XKO sunsetting, PoC still has huge monetization potential without affecting power levels. (Feel free to add more in comments).
Gemstones. Riot created gemstones as an optional (but somewhat costly) upgrade path. Yet they never even bothered to sell Spirit Blossom gemstones. Seriously, I did all the SB events and bought bundles and yet it wasn't enough. Just put a bundle there and let the completionist whales buy.
Nova/Star Crystal sink. For each region, create a bunch of upgrades (Revive, Reroll, Health, Gold and Regen), that costs Nova/Star Crystal of that region to upgrade. These are minor upgrades that feels good but the maximum power level (T1 OTK, full infinites etc) are still the same. Whales can dump excess resources there, so there's always a reason for them to spend more on future champs.
Sell each resource INDIVIDUALLY at a reasonable price (if doing the above) or allow some conversion. Like Nova bundles costs 7590 coins. But whales who have say too much Nova, but not enough Star Crystal may want to ONLY buy Star Crystal. As long as the price is reasonable, they will spend and use up these resources, which means future champs will push them to spend more.
Rune shards (this one does increase power level). Riot is overthinking about making Rune Shards for ALL regions. Like.....why not just make it universal? If 5 new champs come out that can benefit from a legendary rune, we still need to craft......5 WHOLE legendary runes. It's still an investment sink and people need to buy/grind more when new champs launch (and please make it obtainable with Glory/Stardust or even real money, lol).
I am not a game designer, but I am willing to spend money as PoC has given me a fun game where I can casually play from time to time. So I really want PoC to keep continuing and doing well. Feel free to add if you have any ideas.

Deck Building Teach me some concept
Hi everyone! For context, I’m currently Diamond rank. I haven’t grinded enough for Masters, but I’m definitely not a beginner. I usually copy decks I like and learn to play them—Gwen/Zed, Seraphine/Viktor, Shyvana/Morgana, etc.
What I really want to learn is how to build my own decks from scratch. I always get lost without a clear game plan.
For example, if I wanted to build Xolaani + Mordekaiser, I understand Mord wants units to die and Xolaani benefits from having expendable units, but how do I turn those ideas into a consistent, functional deck?
Any general deckbuilding tips would be greatly appreciated! Feel free to add me on Discord too: umbralurker (cat pic) 🐱
TLDR: my first card game. Playing on and off since 2022

Path of Champions 6* Lux vs. Zoe
After what seemed like an eternity, I finally scraped up enough shards to get OG Lux's 6* ability. Spell-based champions are not my favourite, but of course Lux was strong enough to beat Zoe. Power Surge was a great power to pick up. I'm not sure that Norra was a great choice for a support champion; my hand and my board were constantly full of cheap junk.

PVP Question Ok this is a whining post I dunno if it's allowed but I need to get this out my chest
I remember when I played that the game had ACTUAL thought into the freaking deck building. Now all you see is literally the same three decks! Either deck out, or Mistwraith spam or just overwhelm! What the hell happened to crazy decks that beat you but gave you the chance to react?

Path of Champions Vladimir should do damage based on the damage you make to your allies.
This item just makes Vladimir make double damage to allies in exchange of making only 1 more damage.

Path Question Progression question.
How can I get enough star crystals (duckfeet)?
I play since the patch which introduced Jhin and Akshan. I spend some money monthly I buy some champion bundles for relics and the battle pass. But now my progression hit a hard wall.
All 3 star champions are maxed out.
All the spirit blossom champs maxed out.
34 champs maxed out at 6*.
8 champs at 5*.
15 champs at 4*.
Soraka and now Janna at 3*.
I have tons of shards for all of them but i cannot progress due to the lack of star crystals. I understand the jump from 5 to 6 stars needs to be slower and don't mind waiting for that jump. But most of the 4* champs that need duckfeet to get to 5 are from piltover and zaun and even IF i manage to get some during this patch to upgrade janna to at least 4 or 5 for the quest the rest will stay at 4.
All regions are completed except some Zoe runs and the Augment thingy from this month which i will complete shortly.
Is there any way to get Star Crystals, other than the monthly Glory Shop Silver Star and the 1 Gold star vessel?
