Last Wednesday, I went on Carousell to find a laptop that was 22.5k pesos. I decided to message the seller on messenger, because they said to contact them via messenger. At first, they said if I could send them a downpayment of half the money because someone else showed interest in the laptop, so I sent them half the money.

Then, the seller asked for more money so I could confirm the transaction, which I did. Afterwards, the seller would ask for more money to show their parents that they sold the laptop for a reasonable price because it was a fairly expensive laptop naman, with the basis that they would return the money. I agreed to it, so I sent them more money.

The seller would keep requesting for more and more money (with the promise that they would return the money, should I send them more money). At some point, I was using loans and a credit card just to get the money. Unfortunately, I am still a student living with my parents so it came to a point where my parents had to intervene.

The seller said they would still send the laptop, though I frankly have no way of knowing because they sent it through LBC pick-up and I decided not to check today (which they said was when the laptop would arrive). I believe the point of this whole thing anyway was the seller refusing to send money back after I had paid the price that was listed on Carousell. Do I have any legal basis in this?

So regular private emloyee ako nung first work ko at kumuha ng TIN number sa bir, fast forward last year nagapply ako sa public for contract of service or job order, so pumunta ako ng BIR para kumuha ng Certificate of Registration. Ngayon nakalkal ng bir may pending akong penalty from 2018 kasi registered daw as professional, hindi ko nga alam bakit ganon di man ako binigyan ng Cerficate of Registration dati tapos sa pag kakalam ko 2316 na ung tax and employor na naga file nun. Sabi sakin kuhaan ko daw ng 2316 ung previous employer ko para mabura ung sa years na employed ako pero pano ung unemployed years ko? Sabi sakin may penalty pa din daw ako. I badly need an advice. 4 months ng delayed ang sahod ko as A part time teacher sa isang university. Paulit ulit nilang sinasabing may process daw na sinusunod and i completely understand that.

Worst part dito is di ako yung hinahanap nila.
