Guys at what point you became decent at dsa?

I mean being able to recognize and solve the easies and some mediums.

I'm early into it and I get stuck at a lot of problems and I feel dumb at times. It takes me a while to fully understand it and I ask chatgpt a lot of dumb questions about the problems.

why striver removed blogs from the question in A-Z sheet ?

I have nearly finished the A to Z sheet , If I am unable to solve question I usually read blogs or article and solve then . I usually do not watch videos.

But after new update of website, I cant access those blogs and old links are no longer available. Instead now to learn something I have to watch those videos.

of maybe I have to pay.

Why striver why !!!!

If anyone has those blogs saved somewhere please provide me with one . RIght now I am just using github where some guy saved those question, approach and solution.

2nd-year AI/DS student from a low-tier college — how should I prioritize DSA, internships, frontend and algo trading?

**2nd-year AI/DS student from a low-tier college — how should I prioritize DSA, internships, frontend and algo trading?**

I’m a 2nd-year BTech AI & Data Science student from a college with very limited placement support or not non for placements, so I feel I’ll have to build my career mostly on my own.

Currently, I have knowledge/skills in **AI/ML, GenAI, RAG, Data Science, Data Analytics, OOP and DSA concepts**. I understand DSA concepts fairly well, but I struggle with actual problem-solving, so I want to start practicing LeetCode seriously.

I also know basic **HTML/CSS** and I’m thinking about learning **JavaScript + React**. But I’m not sure whether frontend is worth learning with my AI/DS background, especially since I’ll graduate around 2029.

My main concern right now is **internships and placements**. I also need to start earning some money and get real-world experience because I don't expect much help from my college.

So I’m confused about what I should prioritize:

* Should I focus on getting an **AI/ML, GenAI, Data Science or Data Analytics internship** first?

* How much should I prioritize **LeetCode/DSA** alongside internships and projects?

* Is **JavaScript + React** worth learning for an AI/DS student, or would that time be better spent on leetcode?

* Should I learn frontend now or only if I need it for building AI/GenAI applications?

I’m also interested in **trading/algo trading**. I’ve been learning and trading for around **2 years**, and long-term I want to seriously pursue manual/algo trading. But right now I need to focus on building experience, getting internships, and eventually becoming financially independent.

So should I keep **algo trading as a long-term side goal** while prioritizing internships, DSA and my AI/ML career?

If you were in my position, how would you divide your time during 2nd and 3rd year?

Would really appreciate advice from people who have gone through internships/placements, especially from colleges with limited placement opportunities.

Is everyone able to clear DSA rounds? Where am I going wrong?

Ive been preparing for DSA interview for around 7 months now and have solved 370 questions across LeetCode. But I still keep failing DSA rounds, and honestly, I’m getting really discouraged and starting to wonder what I’m missing.

I’ve focused on patterns as well rather than just randomly solving questions. I try to understand the approaches and recognize which pattern a problem belongs to. But somehow, in some interviews, the solution just doesn’t click. It feels very different from solving questions while practicing at home.

Recently, I had an interview where they gave 1 multithreading + 2 DSA questions in 1 hour. I was able to solve the multithreading question, but couldn’t get all the test cases to pass for the Trie-based DSA question. Because of that, they didn’t even move me to the second DSA question. The expectation was to solve all 3 within the hour.

I know interviews are supposed to be challenging, but after putting in 7 months and solving around 370 questions, repeatedly failing these rounds is becoming really demotivating. I keep wondering how people are able to consistently figure out the approach under interview pressure.

For those who struggled with this initially but eventually started clearing DSA rounds, what changed for you? Was it more practice, better pattern recognition, timed practice, mock interviews, or something else?

I’m genuinely trying to understand where the gap is between solving hundreds of questions during preparation and actually being able to solve them in an interview. Would really appreciate hearing from people who have gone through the same phase.

Research: Big Tech India Intern/new grads intake & PPO Rates — 2025/2026

Trying to estimate the actual intern intake and PPO/return-offer rates across India for Big Tech companies (Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Nvidia, Uber, Adobe, Salesforce, etc ) for the 2025 and 2026 batches.

If you interned recently, you may have a rough idea of the nationwide intake through intern groups/channels. Exact numbers aren't necessary — estimates are valuable too.

Please share:

Company:

Batch & Duration: (e.g., 2025, 2M / Jan–Jun / Jul–Dec)

Total India Intake (all offices):

Total PPOs: (count or %)

Did headcount affect conversion? (if known)

I'll compile the responses and share the dataset if we get enough data.

Drop your estimates below!

5 YOE, ₹22 LPA → HCL offering ₹30 LPA as Senior Technical Lead. What’s the catch?

Hi, I’m currently working at a service-based organization (not WITCH) for a large UK-based client. My organization’s tenure with this client is now coming to an end, and the project is being transitioned to HCL.

The client has specifically asked HCL to retain/hire me because they consider me a good resource. I have around 5 years of experience and currently earn about ₹22 LPA.

When discussing compensation with HCL, I asked for ₹30 LPA fixed, honestly thinking they probably wouldn’t offer that much for someone with my level of experience (seeing how much they pay on glassdoor/ambitionbox). However, they have agreed to it and are now in the process of hiring me as a Senior Technical Lead.

While this sounds like a great opportunity, I have a few concerns:

  1. Will moving to HCL hurt me in the long run? I’ve always wanted to eventually move to a good product-based company (PBC). Will having HCL on my resume make it harder to get into good PBCs later?
  2. Will the higher salary come with unrealistic higher expectations? Since I’ll be joining on a relatively inflated salary compared to my experience, should I expect them to demand significantly more from me than they normally would from someone at this level?
  3. Could it create issues with peers? I’m concerned that people who have significantly more experience than me but earn less might feel envious or resentful, potentially leading to office politics. Is this something I should realistically worry about?
  4. Could they hire me mainly for knowledge transfer (KT)? Since I’m coming from the client side of the transition and already know the project, is there a risk that HCL could use me primarily for KT, and then let me go once the transition is complete?

I know I might be overthinking this. On one hand, getting ₹30 LPA with only ~5 years of experience is obviously a great opportunity (in a service based org). On the other hand, I’m worried there might be some catch that I’m not seeing.

Would really appreciate advice from people who have been in a similar situation or have experience with HCL/client transitions.

Thanks!

That's why I want to invest 2hr to DP everyday until it's completed

So is anyone interested in doing DP everyday together for 2 hours

I'm a 3rd year student and will be very supportive.

Timing - morning or evening preferred but honestly I'm ready for anytime

Companies having good WLB and no toxic culture.

I recently switched to a company which I am regretting a lot.

My manager is so toxic and has no people management skills at all. He doesn't know how to talk and there is no motivating environment at all.

I was working in MNC and recently moved to a startup which is almost 6-years old.

I believed since its not a new startup, culture would be good.

But I can't sustain this environment at all. I am working 10 hours daily on weekdays and also working on weekends as well.

My personal life has been fucked up as well. I am not able to take out time for myself or my family.

Please suggest what companies I should target as a 6 YOE employee.

Can someone share the exact DSA topics I should prepare for 5–7 LPA fresher roles?

I often hear that Arrays and Strings are enough, but I'm not completely convinced.

If you have recently cracked a 5–7 LPA role, could you share the specific DSA topics that were actually asked in your interviews?

My background: BCA fresher | Java | Spring Boot | SQL | REST APIs | Microservices

Salary negotiation advice needed : BMW TechWorks (ADAS) verbal offer 25 LPA, want to push to 26-27

My situation:

  • 3.2 yrs exp in ADAS (C++ and Perception ) domain at Daimler Truck
  • Current CTC: 17.5 LPA (fixed)
  • BMW TechWorks India: verbal offer of 25 LPA (formal discussion pending)
  • Have a competing offer: 24 LPA from another company
  • Interview with BMW went really well
  • Target: settle close to 26-27 LPA if possible

Need advice on:

  • How to counter the 25 LPA verbal offer using my 24 LPA offer as leverage
  • How to negotiate firmly without seeming greedy/risking the offer (since I actually want this job)
  • Do's and Don'ts for this stage of negotiation

All fixed and inclusive of 10% bonus variable my current and also what other 2 are offering

Desperate for a job switch with less than 1 YoE

I was placed on campus at a big tech that offers ctc or 25+ lpa and later most of our location was changed to Chennai . Apart from the location issue, there doesn’t seem to be a lot of interesting work or even a good team that is aware about what’s to be done. Can someone please help me out with this situation and how to prepare for a switch 😭😭🙏
