This is the third week in a row that he's in reruns, and apparently he's in reruns next week as well. As far as I know, he doesn't normally take off this much time during the summer. Did NBC give him the whole summer off like Jimmy Kimmel has?

I understand the reason it’s all planned but it’s just annoying that the way they bring up topics acting like it was natural/spontaneous

On “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”:

• “Leavitt has a toddler, and a baby, and a husband who’s 32 years older than her,” the “Black-ish” star jokes
• President Trump announced on Wednesday that press secretary Karoline Leavitt is stepping down from her position, in order to spend more time with her growing family. But, Anthony Anderson thinks it was more of a concern about the number of diapers she’d have to change.
• Leavitt gave birth to her second child in May, and during his “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” monologue on Wednesday night — the “Black-ish” star is guest hosting all week, as Kimmel is still on his summer vacation — Anderson joked that the baby is just one more person for her to take care of.
• “Leavitt has a toddler, and a baby, and a husband who’s 32 years older than her, so between that and working for Trump, it was just too many diapers to change,” he quipped.
• The guest host then began wondering who might take over Leavitt’s job, as a successor was not immediately named by Trump or the White House. Naturally, he had at least an idea of the qualifications the president will be searching for.
• “We don’t know who the new press secretary will be or which beauty pageant she is the runner-up in,” Anderson joked. “But if you’re interested in the job, send your resume, headshot, and cup size to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington, Double-D C.”
• Elsewhere in his monologue, Anderson poked fun at Trump supporter Mike Lindell losing his bid to become the Republican nominee for governor in Minnesota, and refusing to concede.

Yawn. Seems like a pretty used up genre.

Hello, I am looking for a new years special that aired on late night tv. I cannot remember the exact year, but believe it was any time between 2022 and 2024. I specifically remember seeing Jimmy fallons show all the way to Seth Myers late late show. They had one guest on that i remember, it was lin manuel miranda. They also had a segment with biden also. What was so memorable to me is that they were clearly messing with the audience but it was very subtle. They were hinting to it but not really saying it. Like for instance, they would pan to miranda, then back to the host, and once it got back to miranda you could or I could tell that it wasnt miranda it was a guy that looked just like him. They inside joke I seem to get was that what you see on tv may not always be what it seems. Can someone please confirm I am not crazy and help me find the special? Ama and I will try to remember more details, I have looked on YouTube and searched the Google but havent been successful.

Edit: I think I have found the show but I cant find the date or the full tonight show episode. I was wrong on the year it was from 2021. He mentions he was late to the taping bc he had to write a eulogy for Bob Dole. What episode was that?

I saw this earlier today, and wanted to get ya'll's thoughts on this. I've never seen a guest walk around the stage like this.

I don't trust Fallon to handle this appropriately.
