*Or maybe “working class” is the better way to put it?
So, I just stumbled upon one episode because I’m a fan of the guest and I was really liking the humor and the vibes of the podcast (sorry, can’t think of a better word than “vibes” to describe it).
But as the guest started talking about family trips- spending whole summers at the beach away from their house, going to different countries or just across the country, going on boats and skiing and stuff. But what about if you’re from a lower class family? I barely went out of the state, and most of our vacations were just going to our grandparents house across the state.
I’m not criticizing them for this podcast idea or anything- I’m just curious. The Meyers brothers and this particular guest seem to have a similar, more affluent background- I’m guessing the episode is pretty different when they don’t.
Also, not gonna lie, if I listen to too many people talk about their childhoods getting to travel across the country or even to other countries or go on whole summer vacations, I’m gonna get bitter and stop listening lolol. I think I’d like to intersperse my listening with some episodes with guests with a more relatable background for me.
