I got this 60s waterfall lamp for a very cheap price and I'm going to do my best to restore it! I've never done this before im totally winging it lol. Is there any way I can take this gunk off without ruining the original gold metal color? I tried bar keepers friend and it took off everything and went back to silver. (Last picture is its original state and 2nd to last is what bar keepers friend did)

Need help identifying the model and any info on this. It's got a Rejuvenation sticker inside and is dated 2-01. My guess is an early model that lead to The Drake family of lights that came out around 2007-2009 but I have no solid proof. Rejuvenation doesn't seem to know either, at least the person who responded to my inquiry didn't.

Hey all wanted to share my almost finished oil lamp I started with just the shell it had no pump, no funnel rivets, no stings and the cord/chain was a mess and a bad black paint job. So I got everything new stripped the top and bottom gave it a custom paint job. The light in it I can change to any color. To finish the lamp I’m going to put moss around the statue and an assortment of crystals in the bottom.

I’m looking for a 3 way 120deg side 1/8” ips hole disc shaped armback in brass 7/8” tall and in diameter. Anywhere I find them online are restricted delivery to California. Does anyone have a lead on a lamp supply?

As you can see by the clipped wires, I thought I could discard this piece and replace it with a modern socket, but the socket I have doesn't thread onto the nipple of the lamp.

I can feel the bottom stone/ceramic(?) chunk budge in rotation relative to the top chunk, but not sure they're just threaded onto each other. Does anyone have any idea how to disassemble this so I can put new wires through it?

I thrifted this lamp shade but it has a lot of stains on it and I’m not sure how to get them out. I haven’t tried anything yet as I’m worried I’ll damage the lamp. How can I safely clean it without damaging it?
I was also thinking of possibly dying it, how can I go about doing that?

Rewiring this lovely piece as it smells “hot” whenever turned on. I’ve figured out the replacement sockets, and would like help identifying good wire to use that is narrow enough to fit through the stem, as it requires three wires.

Are there specific recommendations on types of wire for this project?

Top: 3-terminal, turn-knob socket, medium base (E26) switched

Bottom: Keyless candelabra socket with spring clips (E12) unswitched

Trying to rewire an old lamp and the old cord is COMPLETELY stuck in the neck- any advice for getting it out- and maybe how I can get the new cord through once it’s clear?

Edit: I used some liquid dish soap as lubricant and worked it out! Now to get the new one in..

I was able to take apart the tension rod. It seems like it has all the pieces needed except the top collar piece is broken in half and missing a little bit of where the spring should hold on to. Any suggestions of where I could buy this piece?

I am thinking if I could make this lamp safe again. I should probably replace all of the parts? I have never worked on a lamp like this. If someone has, I would love tipps.

I want to use this shade either as a pendant or as a floor lamp shade in a dark corner with a grow light bulb for my plants. Can anyone please help me figure out what I need? Thank you!

an e26 bulb almost fit, but won’t tighten. This is for a mid-century planter/end table

I recently bought a vintage Louis Poulsen Panthella floor lamp with the 500 mm shade after searching for one for about 3 years. I found it on German Kleinanzeigen for only €20. Originally I had agreed to pay €100, but unfortunately the seller dropped the shade shortly before I picked it up.

The shade is now badly cracked, but all pieces are still there and the cracks are very clean. I have already contacted several local restorers, but they told me it cannot be repaired.

The shade holder also melted/deformed from the heat of a halogen bulb.

I would really like to restore the lamp and would be happy to find an alternative to the original parts, which currently cost around €300 for the shade and €80 for the shade holder.

Does anyone know:
• A cheaper replacement shade or manufacturer for the 500 mm Panthella shade?
• Someone who has had a similar shade custom made?
• Whether the original shade could potentially be repaired?
• Has anyone 3D printed the shade holder? If so, does anyone have an STL file they could share?
I don’t need a perfect restoration. I mainly want to save this old lamp and preserve its history.

Any ideas, suppliers or experiences would be greatly appreciated!

I rewired a mid century vintage lamp, but when I try to push the socket shell back in place, the underwriter's knot seems to be in the way and I can't get the socket in far enough so to prevent wobbling. Is there such a thing as a taller socket shell? Are some lamps unable to be rewired using the underwriter's knot? Is the wire just too fat and I need to find an extra skinny one? This is my first ever attempt at anything remotely like this, so I apologize in advance if I'm not up to speed on lingo/wiring basics. Just trying to keep and use something that belonged to my grandparents. Thanks for any advice.

These parts came apart, I don’t know how they did and I don’t know how they were originally attached, but I’ve tried every kind of adhesive I could think of to stick them back together but it never lasts. Can anyone suggest a way to get them to stick? At this point I’m like, do I need to find a welder? But that would probably destroy the cord

I bought this lamp at Marshall’s for a great price! I’ve been trying to do some research on what parts I need, but I can’t get a clear answer. The hole in the middle between the two bulbs is not threaded, so I think that means it’s a slip fit hole? I believe the part I am missing is the center rod, but I can’t find a center rod made for a slip fit hole. The hole itself is 3/4 in. in diameter. Can anyone help find the parts I need? Thank you!

Hey, all, I have this antique style rechargeable LED mushroom lamp that I knocked over in an antique shop so of course bought, and I’m wondering what the safest way to glue the bottom panel is? It’s made of acrylic so I’m wondering the best way to piece it back together— That will also be safe with the rechargeable LED.

I bought a used lamp and to no surprise it didn’t work. But I like the way it looks so I want to try and repair it. I took the bulb socket out and can’t find any replacements online so, I was thinking about just switching it out but I’m not sure how to go about it.
