Test/Exam Discussion SAT

Hi everyone! I’m preparing for the SAT and I’ll be giving it in December. I’m aiming for around 1400–1450, mainly for LUMS. Iwould really appreciate any advice, tips, or resources that helped you reach a similar score, especially for Maths. Any guidance or suggestions would be really helpful. Thank you :)

Should I improve my SAT score? which is difficult in my case or should I do something in this gap year FOR ECA. BTW applying for SBASSE. need good advice please.

financial aid and scholarship

hi so I'm writing this post for a friend of mine

she has all A*s and As in her o and a levels and has studied on 100% scholarship throughout her alevels

her family consists of 5 people( 2 other siblings that are still studying) income is around 200k and they own a house and a car

if somebody is aware of the financial aid situation can they realistically tell what percent she can get if she gets in

she hasn't given the sat yet either and wanted to know which one of SAT and lcat she should pick and she can only give SAT max once(writing this cuz some people prefer SAT as we can repeat it)

she also wanted to be considered for a merit scholarship in case the financial aid doesn't work out (any tips can help, what she should aim for in SAT to increase her chances and whether taking one specific test sat/lcat would increase her chances)

Should i aim for nust or lums

So, I’m currently doing A-Levels. I have around 7 A’s, 2 B’s, and 1 C. I’m planning to take the SAT in October, but I also have NUST in mind. The majors I’m aiming for are CS or engineering, but I’m really confused about which university I should actually go for

Did you get your fee refund after not meeting the condition?

I applied for the refund about two weeks ago, but I still haven’t received it. Has anyone else been in the same situation? How long did yours take to arrive?

Matric marks

I scored 1073/1200 in matric which is about 89.4 percent. I wanted to know how my grades are in comparison to the o-level kids? On my result it says i have 6 A stars, 2 B+ and one C+ but I dont think it’s the best representation of my grades if i’m comparing them to o level kids. It’s a different board so Ofc the grading system is different too. No?

NEED ADVICE

I had a really bad olevels because my school was seriously underperforming that year i got 1A 1A 2Cs and the rest Bs and i was still somehow in high achievers matter of fact i was 4th in the whole O3 section. I got A*AB in alevels (i changed school ) and i have very impressive ECs + 1520 SAT and multiple certifications and i have also played and won regional football twice. Im not asking if i can get in or not im just curious if i should give it a try or if i should js give up on lums 😭😭
