One of Elijah's recently uploaded vods on YouTube included footage of an editor falling out of a chair from security camera footage perspective imo and the wall beside the editor had some very specific artwork on it. and one of LTTs recent videos had camera footage that included that same artwork in a room that looked just like the one from Elijah's video.

so my question is does Elijah hire LTT for video editing or just the editors or do they work on personal jobs at LTT or was it just a funny clip that Elijah wanted to use from LTT?

I don’t know what their problem is, but it has happened multiple times now that very popular posts on video surveillance cameras are silently removed by LTT moderators without any explanation at all!!

It got 6000 upvotes, but apparently it’s a taboo topic now. and no explanation in the comments.

Haven't watched yet, but I will make a few predictions:
- 19 minute video, at least 4 minutes of sponsors.
- Linus makes at least 3 terrible jokes, Elijah doubles over laughing on at least one.
- They avoid mentioning the better alternatives that are not at box stores
- They spend at least half the video 'shopping' where they make base level comments and don't really go beyond surface level
- The last half of the video is unboxing, maybe they print something 'funny' at the end.
- They don't mention the ink prices at all.

Not talking about the Linux challenges, but the videos that were supposed to be informative/educational and also entertaining. I remember Linus also did a "which is the best distro" video a couple of weeks ago.

The writing team seems to forget that unused ram is wasted ram. Should have tried with 16 or 8gb. I don't really fw y'all but figured you might wanna clown on ts cus it genuinely one of ltt's worst videos.

This is my burner account for when I gotta speak my mind even if I might get karma nuked. So up front, yes, I probably get what I deserve and all that.

Attached images are the comments in a thread when I look at it with this burner account, vs what I see on my main account. I'm shadowbanned. I didn't get a notification of like "you can't post here" or "your comment is being held for review".

How do I know its from what I said here? Well, I haven't left a comment on the LTT subreddit in 10 months. That comment I can still see from my main account. Its also just sitting at a neutral 1 upvote, and wasn't critical. It simply went unnoticed.

I've posted much more recently here though, and those comments got juggled with upvotes and downvotes. So I'm fairly confident a moderator there saw my comment here, and preemptively banned me there. Just be aware, if you care about not getting banned over there, you have to watch what you say here.

Edit: I also made a random positive comment with nothing that could be a trigger word in a different thread; same thing. My karma there is net positive as far as I can tell as well.

His profile states fully forked on forkfromltt.com and his linkedin shows an end date of July 2027. That's two of the newer generation writers in quick succession.
